Hello,
I have cross-posted this issue to several threads to ensure that it gets noticed by someone. I have also sent three e-mails to Paizo about the issue (including one about 15 minutes before this post was placed) which have not been responded to.
I am a Canadian subscriber and issues appear to be arriving later and later each month (or not at all).
At this time I have not received my subscription copy of Dragon #339. That issue was shipped to subscribers on November 29, 2005.
I have also not received my issue of Dungeon #131, even though it shipped to subscribers on December 20, 2005.
I have to admit that I am also starting to get worried that I will not receive my copy of Dragon #340, which was shipped to subscribers on January 3, 2006, although I will not consider it late until after Janaury 24, 2006, as three weeks used to be the normal mailing time for an issue to my address.
While I can understand a slight delay in shipping due to the Christmas mail rush, I think over 40 days to receive a copy of one of the magazines is too long.
Also, is there any way that you can sort out your shipping to Canadian subscribers? It seems that every second issue is now arriving late to my door (that is, roughly 28 days for receipt or longer from date of shipment). I now routinely see copies on retailers shelves for 1-2 weeks before I get my copy.
I greatly enjoy the content of Dungeon and Dragon, and want to keep my subscription going for a long period of time. Subscription delays, however, are quite frustrating.
Cheers

Hello,
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one experiencing this problem! I, too, reside in Canada & have been experiencing abnormally long wait times for delivery.
I had a 1 year subscription to Dungeon, all issues of which arrived regularly & promptly. Last August I renewed the subscription for 3 years. Since renewal, only 1 issue has arrived promptly (1-2 weeks after shipping). A couple I had to request replacement copies of after a month. Now it is 6 full weeks after issue #131 was shipped & I have yet to receive it!
Needless to say this has slowed the AoW campaign I'm running. The magazine itself I think is worth the wait, but as my players too are enjoying it I've had to purchase shelf copies simply to keep up the momentum.
I've sent a few emails regarding this problem but haven't heard anything back regarding issue #131, although the emails sent regarding previous missing issues were dealt with in a timely fashion. Strangely enough, my orders for Order of the Stick books & other D&D manuals have all arrived within 5 - 8 days of shipping!
In a previous correspondence the HR rep requested I check with the post office about this. I have, but that turned up nothing. They have my correct address, nothing in transit, and no answers.
Cosmo (or anyone else in HR) could you please send me the info you sent to the original poster regarding this problem (if indeed it is a problem)? Any update or info would be appreciated!
Thanks for your time & effort,
Chris

It's not that strange - web store orders go out the equivalent of first class or faster, while periodicals go out, well, periodicals rate, which used to be called second class rate. It's not fast.
I do have a sense that we've been hearing increased complaints about delivery times from Canada over the past several months. We're pretty sure nothing has changed at our end, but we'll see if our printer (who is responsible for sending all subscription copies) knows anything.

I just added a rant about this in a new thread, then came across this one. Thanks for looking into this issue, Vic. Much appreciated.
