Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this, but I think that Dragon should do an issue that's almost entirely devoted to stats for monsters that never made it from 2.0 and beyond.
All normal columns would remain, but the rest would be all converted monsters from 2.0. There are so many that need conversions. I can't even list them.
Just a thought.

Have you ever seen The Tome of Horrors from Necromancer Games?
Necromancer Games Product Page Tome of Horrors is near the bottom. There's a link down there to download a free sample of the stuff you can find in the book.
This is an awesome book, with lots of fun, older critters. Necromancer Games got a licensing agreement from WotC for all of their stuff. One of the really fun things is the "history" of the monster, where it tells you about where it first appeared in print.

Of course, you could put an original spin on the conversion by doing it your self and submitting it to Dragon... If this thread goes large, and the folks here at Paizo see the interest in their subscriber base, then almost anything can happen. That being said, articles usually don't write themselves. If you want to see it, write it up and send it in! Maybe we could get a contest going for the best conversion of "X" monster.

oddly enough, Paizo news often seems to get around to ENworld first. ;)
Classic Creatures, Races of Spelljammer, Dead Factions, Dragon Kings of Dark Sun, Ecology of Draconians, and Spellcraft: Mask of the Red Death.
Someone call a doctor I think my heart just stopped!
This-sounds-like-the-best-issue-ever!
(And I thought 337 was good!)

I would like for Dragon to update all the monsters in their 3rd Edition magazines to 3.5 stats. They should devote an article to this, small font size, do it in the style of the 3.5 update booklet? It sucks trying to go back and rewrite all the 3.5 updates for these monsters, and I hate trying to figure out damage reduction.
