AWAP suplements in Dragon

Age of Worms Adventure Path

Which issues of Dragon will have AWAP suplements? I don't have a subscription to Dragon and I don't want to miss anything which might add to the PC's enjoyment of the AP.
Thanks in advance.

They are going to be in the next 12 mags that come out.

Where did you have this info from? That would be great. What kind of supplements will those be?!

I'll be honest, I've never bought Dragon Magazine, and I never will, even if AWAP information can be found therein. I've never seen any value in the magazine.

I have a fellow friend/gamer who buys the magazine every month on the newsstand however. He had always been down on the magazine, but the first issue of Dungeon he bought convinced him that Dungeon is the far superior product and has considered ending his purchase of Dragon.

We both agree that Adventure Paths are the greatest thing that has ever happened to Dungeon Magazine; so much so in fact that Dungeon should consider (and start) a THIRD Adventure Path series somewhere around the time characters are level 10 in AWAP. Two adventure paths in one magazine....although we realize the ramp up time would be impossible for this to happen.

Finally, revisiting Dragon and AWAP material, it might be the only reason some will purchase Dragon magazine, and I would not be surprised if the sales spikes during this time frame.

Starting with issue #333, we're introducing "Wormfood: Surviving the Age of Worms Adventure Path," a 12-installment series of player-focused articles that will enhance the Adventure Path and add some detail to areas players are likely to appreciate. The first adventure (in Dungeon #124) suggests that the PCs set up shop in an abandoned building near the adventure site, and the first Wormfood provides a map of that building with rules for how PCs can spend time or resources to improve it and make it their own. Other articles will follow in that vein.

Erik, you just sold me a 12-issue subscription to Dragon.

No, I wouldn't say there are spoilers. More like maps of player hideouts and pre-made cohorts and stuff.

I misunderstood the question. I thought you meant which DUNGEON magazines will have the AP in them... not Dragon. Sorry... my bad.

Case in point. Further, I would like to retract a prior statement I made about me NEVER buying a Dragon Magazine. I just might buy a Dragon based on the AWAP material found inside of it....kind of a case-by-case situation.

AWAP might as well be the literary form of crack-cocaine.

Better lucky than good. It's funny how often in my life this turns out to be the case.

I was about to let my subscription run out, but I'm rethinking that choice for the same reason.

I second that!!

I didn't see the wormfood article mentioned online regarding the next Dragon issue. Did it get bumped?

Some subscribers have received the new Dragon and have posted on EN World that #333 does indeed contain the first Wormfood write-up.

I totally lucked out. I just subscribed to both Dungeon and
Dragon a couple weeks ago just for the halibut. I picked up the July issue with AoWAP in it and was impressed. Now I'm really really happy about the subscription seeing whats coming up cause now I don't have to try and forge my own campaign.

Now if I could only find out what (if any) eccology articles are coming up in Dragon I might actualy be talked into getting a subscription...

Dragon has always kinda seemed to teeter on the bad side of the useful or not issue with me. I did almost get a subscription just to make absolutly sure I got the issue with the kobold eccology though.

Ok, I got my Dragon and read the wormfood article. I'm really pleased that they are giving me AoW stuff in Dragon. I have very high hopes for this campaign and with this kind of support, it might live up to expectations.

The only thing I'd like to add is this; Okay most of the time theres not alot of usful information in dragon for DMs but i do buy dragon every month for my players before the game starts and everyone starts showing up i put out "my stack" and always my players begin sorting through the issues looking for this and that, (especially the wizard, just too many cool spells.) My only beef with this months is what the #@&%# is with the 2-3 page ad for "relms of dragons 2 book" i mean cummon isnt there enough ads that that just seems a little over kill. Were some of the writers on summer break or something that you added so much "fluff" for one book???

I'd like to see more tie-ins between Dragon and Dungeon in general. I'm running the AoW right now, but would love to run the other adventures in this month's mag. Problem is my players don't have the level appropriate PCs rolled up. Could Dragon provide 4 canned PCs for the stand alone adventures in Dungeon? These PCs could be constructed to best "beat" the adventures in Dungeon.

Scarab Sages

Yo, Antony (LOL)

Not to stick my nose in, but those ads pay for us to get the mags, and also pay Eric, James and all the other guys salaries...We don't need them going all T.O. on us, do we? I could see them sitting out an issue, or Paizo having a lockout...LOL...can anyone say NHL?
