If you're looking to mourn the hiatus of Undefeated and Amazing or to compare horror stories and the like, this is as good as any place to do it.(end Quote)
I've been hunting for news on Undefeated for some time now, basically since I heard a rumour that it was also going on Hiatus. Now, the thing is that the articles about the hiatus of Amazing Stories also stated that there was no confirmation regarding the fate of Undefeated.
Now, I've hunted high and low on the website, and there is no news about Undefeated, and issue #10 is on it's way to our greedy little hands as we speak... So I figure it is probably safe, and that my first article for Undefeated (in this issue) won't be my last.
But the quote above from Erik saddens me.
So, what is the OFFICIAL word on Undefeated?

One wonders how this impacts remaining subscription issues.
I really hope this isn't true.
I mean I just renewed my subscription, and I just recieved issue #10 in the mailbox yesterday.
And they seemed to have picked up more advertisers, and the content is better than ever.

Well, I've got to figure the answer lies in the appearance of the Games Quarterly back issue ad.
Does this mean that the two have merged? Or that one is dead and Paizo is publishing the 'survivor'?
It's completely unrelated.
A: We're not publishing Games Quarterly—we just added their back issues to our store. We also sell several other gaming magazines, and have done so for a while.
B: Games Quarterly and Undefeated have fairly different areas of focus and appeal.

The press release announcing Undefeated's cancellation also says: "We worked hard to find alternative means to keep these titles viable, including moving them to other companies," says Lisa Stevens, co-owner and CEO of Paizo Publishing. "However, our efforts ultimately met with no success. We felt that it was time to fold our hand and let our customers know the final outcome."
Can you say to what publishers you tried to move them to?
