RL remains interesting, updates this morning.

OK! Both tables are about to do battle!

I forgot to mention this in the wake of the death of my beloved Dane but due to the death of one of my players' best friends about a year ago (Seline Spires friend if anyone here knows her) a massive collection of Gaming Books became available for anyone who wanted them.

Among the items I gave a home to was the entire set of the Eberron Hardcover books for 3.0/3.5. Obviously I've not read them all yet but pretty neat just to see them all on the shelves.

With respect to Table II, I'd like to see some action early this week. We are closer to the end than the beginning of that crawl even though it does not seem like it as I re-read it again today while my daughter was taking one of her VERY rare naps :-)

I believe Jiri is back from vacation this week so I will bot him as necessary.

Table II, I've found a replacement for Kaine and Beylinda, he'll be joining the group post Dungeon crawl and I think his concept is pretty unique. Should be a good fit.

I may have him connect to the group as a friend/acquaintance of Jiri.

Thanks for the patience folks, back up and running again.

FYI, Jiri will be away for two weeks so I'll bot him as necessary.

Well, 7 days is an improvement over my posting rate of the past 2 months...

FYI, Beylinda is now a full DMPC for the remainder of this adventure. The Player has been MIA from the boards for quite some time now. I'll not re-recruit that spot unless you all want to or someone knows someone who wants to get in on an Eberron game.

I have managed to finally successfully update Table II, Table I I will get to tonight as well.

I do not quite see clear skies ahead but I'll try to keep up as best I can until I am feeling 100% better and back to normal so bear with me.

I assure you that unless I am dead, this campaign will be finished, hopefully soon at a more normal pace.

Sorry for the long wait, between RL and the site being a f&@*ing mess we were delayed but finally underway once more!

Table II now updated, still no sign of Beylinda. Perhaps the players computer is still on the fritz, I am just not sure. At any rate, I will Bot Beylinda until this crawl is over. At that time, if she is still not back, I'll just drop the PC as she is the 8th person in the group anyhow.

No worries on the switch Xetovia, scroll of PfE is fine.

Table I updated. You are wearing down those foes as they can only seem to hit Erix! OK, a minor hit on our new PC but considering what it could have been, no bog deal.

Table II update coming up.

Shadow, are we allowed to choose which method each level or must we stick with the one we use at level 2?

Nice roll! You are still rocking with 2 HP after the its you took!

You can decide to use whatever method you prefer for each level individually so you are not locked into this decision when Level 3 rolls around.

My vacation will also give Table II a chance to Post in the next round of combat as I know some vacations and bad weather may be effecting posting rates this close to the Unofficial end of summer :-)

Sorry for the long delay there folks. Now that the Ruins of Azlant Recruitment is humming along, posting will come much quicker!

That is the last new game I am recruiting for until something else closes down. It'll be a while before that happens based on the adventures I have going on right now.

Playing in 20+ games and running 26 (soon to be 27) is time consuming. Outside of the boards I have a fairly busy work schedule and of course a life!

Often I find that if I fall behind in updates, I need to make time to simply update a Discussion Thread to inform the PCs of a particular game that I am either going to be posting later in the day or week or will be on a break form the boards for one reason or another.

To save time updating so many damn threads I am going to open this thread and link all of my DM aliases (and PC aliases) to this thread to inform people as to status.

Of course if people feel the need to ask other questions outside of PbP feel free to do so but mainly this will be a thread dedicated to ensuring that my PCs know my status and to assure everyone that even though I may have some absences away from the boards (or particular games) that new thread will always be up to date with my status.

June and July were like Hell Recruitment. I think I had 8 games with openings and started 3 new campaigns.

Now I have none open so would not be a big deal to Recruit.

I'll wait for more feedback on it though before I decide.

I was trying to get to both tables tonight but I don;t think I will make it (I updated about 11 today so I've clocked in a LOT of time on the boards as it is). I will ABSOLUTELY update both tables tomorrow.

I am slowly working my way out of my DM board break, within the next few days I'll get us up and running again. I want to add information to the Campaign Info Tab as well as adjust the Initiative and Perception scores for each group.

Hi everyone, just to let you know I will be on holiday for two weeks (and a bit) from Friday 30th June until the 16th July. During that time I will have no access to the internet (to speak of).

You post and then delete that post, it gets you into GamePlay but does not leave a random in post that Thread.

In fact everyone on Table II should do that if they have not, forgot to mention it.

Updates either tonight or tomorrow as I am working late and not sure how much time I'll have for DM updates tonight.

The 7th PC will enter Table I post battle.

The other 3, will enter Table II upon my next update later tonight or tomorrow if it gets to be 2 am as even I need to sleep sometimes...

I am happy to report that I will no longer be working extended hours at work for the forseeable future so my posting rate should get back to my normal every 2nd or 3rd day routine.

Hopefully, the group will stay static and the boards cooperative as we move into these new adventures for both Tables.

Table I by tomorrow night I'll have the combat scene updated. Had plans tonight that ran longer than expected and it's time for me to hit the sheets and pillows ;-(

Table II keep up the great RP. By Saturday I'll have the new PCs integrated. :-)

Thanks Carduus. Truthfully, I'm overwhelmingly busy still and sadly I'm going to have to take some time away from the boards. You can bot me or write me out, or kill me off spectacularly. Thanks for the opportunity to play, I really enjoyed what I got to play of this game, and the other characters. I had less time tonight than I anticipated that I would. Updates to both Table I and Table II tomorrow night.

I would like to buy: A special Warforged Component.

Its from the original game and the only real embedded item I'm interested in for Gauntlet. Docents are another thing altogether IMHO.

I had a PC in a table top campaign with this item, approved.

As fun as that crossover was it will be nice to get back to two smaller tables.

I will start both groups off with some downtime after that wild foray into the undercity.

This will give all of you time to rest and time to pursue some of the things you wish to seek out from a chacater development standpoint. Not too much time just a few days of real time. Then we'll start both new sets of adventures for both tables.

That first adventure alone has made all of you quite wealthy and if you wish to spend some, go right ahead.

Ama, you will acquire the item you seek via barter so go ahead and add that to your sheet.

He pauses and looks at Xetovia, "House Cannith will reunite when those who believe they are fit to lead, come to the realization they are not".

He heads to the door and turns back once more, "Minotaur, should you need work, you can come to my door to find it..."

Merrix d'Cannith takes his leave and Lady d'Vwon breathes a sigh of relief, "I thank you all for supporting me under the terms of the law of contracts here in Sharn, that Schema is rightfully mine to take possession of. There are ten of you here". She reaches into the bag at her hip and pulls out piles of platinum! "Four thousand gold, all in platinum, now, if you would all be so kind as to hand me the schema and escort me home".

I'll give another day for the last few stragglers to chime in, consensus seems to be that the group will honor Lady d'Vown's offer. :-)

My apologies for my recent silence, life is busy. I am still around, but please don't let me hold anything up - bot as necessary/assume that Carduus is merely hanging back anti-socially and agrees with party decisions. I hope to be able to post at least once a week going forward (not sure that I've been hitting that rate lately.)

Merrix eyes Xetovia and Caelan curiously but says nothing to them in response, his eyes do light up when Pink-Eye speaks, "A schema? What schema?"

Lady d'Vown replies smoothly, "As Ama so eloquently stated, a collectors piece nothing more Lord Merrix".

Merrix gives Lady d'Vown a skeptical look then looks to the group assembled, "I can confirm that Suthar does not work for me.

However, it is fortuitous that I arrived here when I did to clear that matter up. I am willing to offer ten times what Lady d'Vown has offered for this schema. If there is an ancient heirloom retrieved in this city, my city. It is only right that I be the one to claim it".

Lady d'Vown appears apoplectic at the offer...

Yes, an appearance by Merrix himself!

This post begins the wind down of this side arc. Within the week the Forgotten Forge will be resolved and the groups will be back at their respective tables. There will be a bit of juggling of the rosters but not much.

Lady d'Vown smiles, "I appreciate that..."

The door opens cutting off the rest of what she was about to say. Into the Festhall step three heavily armed humans and one heavily armed Warforged all wearing insignia's of House Cannith. They take in the scene before them and one of them spots d'Vown, "She is indeed here Sir".

A man then steps through, a man all of you know as he is one of the most powerful men in Sharn, if not Breland, if not all of Khorvaire. Baron Merrix d'Cannith perhaps teh most renowned artificers in the world today. At 34 he still appears a young man, his hair black as night and styled in the latest wavy fashion. His clothing is clearly enhanced by magical protections and many rings adorn his fingers.

"Ah Lady d'Vown, how pleasant of you to summon me to this Fest Hall. It has been so long since I visited the lower levels of the City. I expect that this is not a dinner in my honor and you have something to discuss with me cousin?"

Lady d'Vown stands an curtsies, "I am so sorry to bother you cousin I certainly should have paid you a visit but I know how busy you are and our, ah, factions of the House have not exactly been getting along these days".

He gestures for her to continue.

"I was ahm, retrieving something for House Cannith and had hired some of the assembled mercenaries you see before you to assist me with the retrieval. It turns out, so did Suthar..."

Merrix frowns, "Suthar was here in the city?"

The Lady responds, "Yes indeed in this very Fest Hall you missed him by but a small margin of time".

"Unfortunate, I would have liked to have confronted that thief myself".

Lady d'Vown smiles, "So then you are saying that Suthar was not hired by you?"

Merrix's frown deepens, "Did he say he was?"

I'll let the rest of you jump in here.

That big update will take place tomorrow. Lost some time on the drive home and dealing with the little one tonight. This is tops on my list for tomorrow though :-)

She frowns at what Gauntlet has to say, "I am sorry that has happened. I was hoping this would be a retrieval job and not some sort of sword battle beneath the Towers of Sharn. I will make payment for your comrades that did not show as well as the fallen".

Lady d'Vown shakes her head at Erix, "Once you deliver to me the schema and I to you the payment, the contract is at an end. I would appreciate an escort back to my own Inn. After that, I will be taking my leave of Sharn for a time. I do not wish to stay while there is danger about me".

Expanded post later on tonight but I wanted to address this point.

Lady d'Vown responds to Gauntlet, "Very well Gauntlet, that is what we admire most about your race, your ability to focus on goals until they are accomplished to the exclusion of the mundane, it is what made you all such excellent and fearsome soldiers. In hindsight, whether that is a virtue or a vice I leave to the philosophers to decide.

What else they are doing here, if anything, and why is not clear as the one that was captured refused to speak and escaped before clerics or wizards could be brought in to fully interrogate him".

That particular Warforged the group ended up defeating in the undercity.

"The Lord of Blades stronghold in the Mournland, if that is truly where he resides, makes him a difficult enemy indeed to deal with as it is not a place fit for the living.

Tell me, did you encounter many Warforged in your quest? I trust that the rest of the group I hired is well somewhere else and merely recovering from their injuries?"

Big update on Friday.

At least we'll be able to find out more about our future workmates in the two groups though. :)

As I will be paying you, I shall double your payment to 400 gold per head, if you swear secrecy of what I am about to tell you", she turns and looks back at dev, Tool-Box, and Xetovia. "Good pay for two days of security eh?"

"And of course, I will also tell you all we have learned of the Lord of Blades".

Caelan is able to get the attention of the serving girls in the back who begin to fill mugs of ale for the group.
