Sorry for the short notice, but I'm in a crunch due to unforeseen player issues. I need a 7th level Alchemist/herbalist. Currently will be a NPC that will probably be taken over by a pc.
Race: Elf

Inquisitor could work

Witch
Antipaladin (if not part of paladin)
Gunslinger
Psychic

i would love to see more plant type familiars/companions

Have the reward be a treasure map. It creates another side quest to find the loot.

The Warpriest technically does not get to choose "domains", as the Cleric does. Instead, they choose "Blessings". The Blessings have the same names as the domains, but are not domains and consequently do not provide any domain powers or domain spells. Your deity choice determines your Blessing options, which must be the same as the domains your deity offers.

I can see where the confusion is with the requirements, but blessings do not equal domains.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks for the clarification.

Just seeking clarification, eventhough they choose domains for blessings, they don't get the spells for those domains?

Does the warpriest still get the domain spells for his chosen domains or are the blessings in place of those?

I need to create an 11th level character. For story reasons, I need to be a warpriest or a cleric (catfolk). Wandering if its better to multiclass the warpriest after 10th, or stay pure warpriest. Since he receives his major blessing at 10th, is there anything worth attaining afterwards? What class would blend best with the warpriest?

I've got a friend that's in town for the weekend and going to DM a homebrew campaign for us. Everyone is new to PF and table top RPGs.

We currently have: Elf Sorceress (Fey bloodline)
Half-Elf Ranger - Archery

So the question becomes, what class should i choose?

Restrictions: core races only, CRB, APG, UC, UM classes.
We get a 25 point buy.
So the question is Tank Vs. Healer??
I'm leaning towards a Cleric, but heard its not the easiest to start with. I know that I'll enjoy whatever i choose. The Monk does seem intriguing too.
(not starting an argument, but Bard is out of the question. I just cant get past the mental picture of some Jethro Tull looking dork hitting BBEGs with a flute while dancing around)

This might be too simple of an approach, but why not have them run down a dead-end path of the cavern. Once they realize its a dead-end and turn around they're met by the troll guards in a very large force. Knowing they cant beat the vast # of guards, they surrender.

Have an artifact that emits eternal darkness that sunlight can't penetrate. This would allow the sun to be 'stolen' without having to leave the world/plane.

Council, my wife and i are looking into joining a group. We live in Belton. Both of us are new to PF. We wont be able to make the 'meet n greet' this Sat though. Maybe we can work something out another time.

PDF to receive - Class Acts: Summoner Archtypes

Fairly new to Pathfinder to i'm not heavily exposed to everything, but i love what i'm seeing. I'd like to see a list of alternative Gods and Demi-gods to be used in the game. Maybe including chances of prayers/wishes being answered. Alternatively, angering a God.

Im also in the KC area and looking for a group.

NEWB question - what is BBEG ?

Piranha plant (mario bros reference). Just let it eat everything in reach.

Thanks for all the input.

Im new to PFS. My first post and I'm just looking for a little advice to help the group. I played a little D&D(3.5) back in high school and haven't played since. I've found a co-worker thats a longtime Pathfinder player/GM. He's willing to GM a group and see if its a fit.
The Group: Friend that used to play D&D(3.5), friend new to tabletop RPG, and possibly the Mrs. (also new to tabletop).

What advice can you give to make it more enjoyable for everyone?

(Sorry for the long post)
