![]() I can't seem to find any rule for how high you rise while making a long jump in Pathfinder. I believe 3.5? had it as you rise 1 quarter of the total distance traveled horizontally. i.e.: Long jump 40ft = rising 10 ft. This becomes important when your monk is trying one of his crazy distance long jumps in a chamber with a ceiling that is only about 10 or so feet high. ![]()
![]() I COMPLETELY agree with juanpsantiagoXIV. I, alone, would buy at least 50 copies of the game to give away to people. Just to show them what computer/video games can & should be instead of the mindless "shoot-em- ups" where they give you their pre-made character. I hate those straight-jacket,ZERO creativity pieces of junk. ![]()

Okay. So, if a Paladin aquired the Fiendish template he would get the DR/good, 60 ft. darkvision, energy resistances and still be a Lawful Good servant of his god? ![]()

![]() I'm thinking of making a Barbarian/Cleric/Holy Vindicator that worships Gorum. Does he have to use a Greatsword? Can he instead use a Sawtooth Sabre? Could he use a Dwarven Waraxe? Is there any rule that says a divine type has to use his deity's favored weapon as his primary(weapon focus) weapon?

![]() I have to wonder about people who want to make it easier to get away with cheating and bullying their way into getting the best items. It really doesn't matter how much you try to rationalize your opinion, I think most of the PFS players/staff can see through this sophism. Oh yes, I've been told I have all the tact of a sledgehammer. ![]()
![]() If my PC were to delibrately jump off a 300 ft. cliff how would his Ring of Feather Falling behave throughout his descent? He also has pretty good Acrobatics and would be trying to negate some of the falling damage that way. I've gotten some conflicting input on this and would like to make sure I'm playing it legal. Thanks,

![]() I think the reason for the success of D&D 3.0 and 3.5 was the inclusion of a PC generator/maintenance CD with every 3.0 Player's Handbook. If Paizo includes such a CD with their upcoming August release of their Player's Handbook (and maybe a "web enhancement" to make the program PFS compliant) it would get all those "On-The-Fence" players into Pathfinder....a nice chunk of new revenue for Paizo. ![]()

OK, you're right. I looked at the Guide again and saw that I did do it in reverse order. According to the Character creation chapter this is how his stats should go before racial adjustments: STR 15 ..(7 pts)
With the 2 extra pts. from the 9 WIs. & 9 CHA. this comes out to the 20 points buy. After the Half-Orc racial adjustments these are his beginning play stats: STR 17
I'm not missing anything am I? Thanks for the help. ![]()
![]() I need some help on my PC for the Pathfinder Society RPG organized play campaign. I'm not sure I've interpreted the extra build points from low stats (after racial adjustments) rules correctly. I also lowered my PC's CHA. stat by 1 to a 7. Here is my PC's stats as a level 1 Half-Orc Fighter before the using any build points: STR.: 12, DEX.: 10, CON.: 10, INT.: 8, WIS.: 10, CHA.: 7 I think this gives me 6 extra build points, 2 from the 8 INT. & 4 from the 7 CHA. Also, I'm not quite sure of the point cost to get his INT. up to a 13. Here is his stats after the point buy: STR.: 17, DEX.: 14, CON.: 14, INT.: 13, WIS.: 10, CHA.: 7 I would really appreciate an offical clarification/correction. Thanks in advance for the help. |
