A little bit late, but I present Partiche

Woohoo! Sounds fun. There've already been so many good ideas. I'm going to look at making Quark or his brother Rom.

The book felt amazing. It held shapes and symbols that begged to be comprehended. You never did, but the longer you stared the more depth and definition they seemed to take on. Even the very concept of language, seemed a mystery that felt just out reach beyond those symbols, but by looking at them, maybe, just maybe, you started to understand a little bit.

Language for Oscar went well beyond talking. His increased comprehension of words almost went unnoticed at first, because they were eclipsed by epiphanies. Memories, or something very close to them, came back in waves. He remembered how to hold the book properly. Not with his hands, but having the air just balance it open. He remember many more things as the day progressed

He took to keeping it open, and walking. He'd alternated his attention between the floating symbols and then seeing if he could understand a bit more of people's conversation after a time. There were a couple times though where he did remember something particularly important.

At one point during the middle of the day, Oscar came around insistently, hands held high. "Bless??
At his stature they still barely came up to people's chests, but the oddly texture small construct seemed persistent. Eventually he'd manage to bug everyone with his repeated mono syllable questions, before settling down.

As the shadows started to stretch, one shadow happen to jump out of his own. It raced up and down him in feline grace and joy. Around the next bend, the sunlight drove back the odd creature back into whatever corner it had hid in.

Let me know who accepts/declines my blessing/mantle. There's no effect currently.

I think you might've sent a link to your personal copy of the benchmark guide. Here's a public link to it.

I'm mainly a support char, so I can't hit that damage, without considerable tweaking. I'll survive w/o a problem, even without my pets. Can someone else bring the bang?

Niwin seemed quite excited to share the wonders of their open air market that had the most amazing delicacies and wondrous trinkets. It took some convincing and not a little pushing to pry the details of a second smaller market. He suggested that it was a craftsman only sort of place, not as well policed, and filled with merchants with less than the highest reputations, hoping to discourage the group. Instead, Ozzie insisted that it was, actually, exactly the place they needed.

After reassuring their guide, they set out into the desert city. Much of the city was carved out of the local sandstone. Even in the lengthening shadows, the arid heat made the air seem like sandpaper. Perhaps not unsurprisingly, the streets seemed more occupied by gadgets than actual population. The streets became narrower and emptier as they headed towards their goal. The group's wariness seemed to keep any potential stalkers at bay.

Even with their guide's careful directions and the group 's own skills, they failed to find the place until they dropped a few coin with some enterprising younglings. Turns out that they ended up only a couple streets from an entrance. A descending set of stairs followed by a long vacant corridor opened up onto a raging river of bodies, separated only by a thin curtain.

The whole place seemed of another world. It carried one of the most distinct smells of chemicals and spices that Ozzie had encountered. Light streamed through makeshift skylights upon rows of stalls and open shops. The human-shaped goblin tried to say a few words but the din drowned everything out. The height difference that marked them as outsiders also lent itself to him spotting the coffee shop. Motioning for the group to watch their pockets, Ozzie led the group towards the refreshments.

Their host was a dark skinned gnome with an amazingly bushy mustache, that seemed to eat half his face, and a jaded look that promised a lack of surprise if the tarrasque itself showed up as a customer. They were seated around a ring of cushions around a low table, that fortunately had a view onto the rest of the bazaar. Conversation had dried up on their walk between the tavern and here, but the spices and steam coming out of the kitchen seemed ready to erase all of that.

"So do you still have all you coin?"

Upon turning around, Ozzie spotted the other group, nearby, and rubbed his eyes. Perhaps the crowd had blinded him.

Updated Rulebook

Some awesome people have taken the various errata and updated the rulebook with it, since paizo is a bit behind, last I checked

I want to put together a caster character that ideally isn't noticeable/detectable to be so.

Silent/still metamagic should keep non casters from noticing I'm anything, but distracted.
Quicken metamagic should erase the distracted aspect.
Secret magic only seems to work out combat.

Sorcerer for eschew materials?

Any good tips or ideas? I know the character is not going to be *strong* in the least, but I'm trying to make it work as well as possible. Class is optional so long as it works.
