5/5

I got this book from Kickstarter, and I have to say... as far as hard covers, the book itself is just super pleasing. It even SMELLS great. The non-glossy pages that fill this massive tome are a refreshing change as well.

As for the content. I've not even READ everything, but I've read all the bloodlines and archetypes. They are dope.

The smattering of spells I've read are also all interesting additions. The BEST spell being Timely Distraction.

....

This has nothing to do with the fact I wrote it.

Drakmak looks for a quiet spot, away from the crowds and out of sight, and motions to Noggin to follow him. "If I cast this spell on you, you have 10 minutes as a rat to get into the building, have a little scout around, before you return to your normal goblin self. My feathered friend can take you closer or I'll put you in my pocket til we get outside the house again."

A golden bird flies up from Drakmak's shoulder after Drakmak whispers to him, , "Racven, keep watch from above, look out for armed men, the city patrols."

"Noggin, May the desert dust never parch your throat, but if we are going to use discreet carpentry methods to gain entry, you might want to follow Archurius' idea and practice where people can't see you. That is, try around the back door. Let us try here first, then if the door does not open, we'll try the back as Achurius suggests." The half-orc's hand rests gently on Noggin's shoulder as he says this. A mellow fatherly voice issues the words.

The half-orc realises the goblin is watching his every move as he moves wooden slates in place. Every piece of wood, measured carefully before being cut and pieced together. With such an attentive audience, Drakmak cannot resist to exaggerate his work, with flamboyant sweeps of his arms as he carefully nails and screws pieces of wood together.

As he continues he speaks to Noggin as though telling a small child how to pile bricks on top of each other to create a wall. "So you see Noggin, watch very carefully that the string is the exact length, before I use it to place it carefully on the wood to provide an exact place to cut the perfect length. Now did you get that? I'm sure you'll pick it up and get the hang of it. I mean you've mastered the art of demolition, now with the aid of the gods of the oasis we might just get you to understand the art of creation."

Drakmak puts his hand on Noggin's, saying a few draconic words, which fill the goblin with a feeling that he can use his hands more easily in squeezing them into the nooks and crannies of the barrel and feel how it has changed.

Casts Physical Boost focus spell in a weird way, to make Noggin feel more dexterous in what he does, not exactly what the spell does as written, but just for a nice flavour.

Nikebei takes one of the stones anyway, paint or not, gold is gold. It might make a nice trimming on a plate, should she ever get to serve a fine dinning meal. Though you would find it hard to believe that she could do such a thing, given that her clothes now smell of grease and burnt cloth. Her apron more singed than before she takes some time to repair it as best she can.

Returning to the hospital point, she is amazed how quickly the doctors and nurses can patch her up, even quicker than she can patch her apron! She takes the time to thank them all and offers to cook them up[ something special when she gets back, Eyeballs of Warg, in a flambe cognac sauce...hmm she thinks.

Drakmak, makes a grab for the goblin, but Noggin is too fast and Drakmak staggers forward a bit before he regains his balance. With a slap of his hands on his forehead he lets out a loud sigh. He mumbles quietly to himself, "Why or why? It's a goblin, what did I expect!" and as if his mind is tuned into Noggins he almost sings in time with Noggin "....And that armour."

Drakmak walks over to the Captain and the Noggin, "Please forgive my over enthusiastic friend, I'm sure we can make it up to you. I will have some more of these trinkets in a few days time, when you come to us, I'm sure there will be ring fit for you. I have some stones ready to fit, would azure, the colour of the sea suit your finger?"

He bows and gestures his thanks with his hands, before taking his leave and with Noggin in tow.....

Retcon - still in the water

With a fountain of water streaming through the goblin's teeth back into the pool, Nikebei's head bobs above the water. "But my head is out the water, Cap'n sir!" she says and salutes. Bedecked with blades of all types, from rusty old weapons to nice shiny hatchets and kitchen knives, a goblin enters the room. The goblin wears a creased chef's off-white hat, splattered with grease and other foreign bodies, an whiteish-brown apron coloured with both dried blood and stains of various shades from beetroot to saffron, with the odd burn mark. In one hand she holds a shiny sharp kitchen knife or hatchet in one hand, whilst in the other a bottle of liquid refreshment is available for consumption. Her backpack has pots and pans falling off it, the famous goblin weapons of choice rattle along with the pots and the pans, some of which look as though they are tied together to giver her some protection from blows.

"Be here now" her beady eyes look from side to side as her head almost swivels round 360. "Set up time!" Her booted foot stamps on the ground. "'Spossed to make din dins, why call me Nik Nik Cook-Cook, so's I cooks." The words tumble out of her mouth, as she seems to getting a little angry. "Need fire! Need Kitchen! No singy song song til din dins cooked." She looks at the other Pathfinders, "No din dins? Ahhh!" She drops everything in a heap (knives and all), takes a swig from the bottle and burps a loud and strong smelling burp, a garlicky and alcohol filled aroma greets the world. This plus the aura of grease oik from frying battered rats legs and other such delicacies.

Seeing Life speaking Nik Nik looks bemused, a talking garlic head, she looks into her ingredients, picks a couple of garlic gloves and starts to talk at them, "You speak to Nik Nik, like big garlic head there!" But with nothing happening she throws them back roughly into her bag, disappointed.

"So, what we doing now then........"

Granitt thanks Yandrada and Luna for more of their insights of the mountain's interior and let's others take what they need. He listens to evening chat and discourse, hardly joining in himself, just the occasional grunt and groan. The grunts get louder, as the tankards of ale are emptied of the alcoholic contents. Almost like clockwork, he burps every hour on the hour, as the malt, barley and still barely alive yeast, make their presence felt.

The morning may have been pleasant and warming to most, but for Granitt it is bright and compounds his dismal feelings, he grunts good morning to the rest pf the party from behind his face full of red bushy hair. He takes a barrel of water in his hands, lifts and pours the water over his head and then drinks into his body. His now dripping wet and straggling down red beard and hair are left to their own devices, drying as they walk towards the mountain. That is after he shakes his head, much as a dog does, to throw out as much water from his hair as possible.

After this refreshing moment, whilst still feeling it's goodness, Granitt prays over his war axe, it glows with a faint greyish wispy aura that blurs the edge of the blade. Now it is time to march.

Dwarven War Axe has Ghost Touch from Divine Ally(Weapon)

When Mandoo introduces his companion Tina, Granitt's hands grip his axe even tighter and he readies his shield as he listens to the strange Pathfinder's words. "She's ..... unusual!" he growls his only comment as he eyes her, looking up and down for a spot of weakness, if ever he needs to raise his weapon against her. She best be with us or her bones will end in a heap. He walks behind Mandoo and 'Tina' on the way to the Peak.

Entering the dark of the mountain, Granitt feels more at home, his eyes seeing into the darkness, just as easily as he sees in daylight. Darkvision He takes the lead, and lets out a long breath or sigh as they get further inside, turning back he says, "This is more like it eh?" his now dry red beard is bushy and moving as he speaks.
His shield ready and his axe in one hand, he strides slowly forward, well slowly as far as the taller folk might imagine, but at a good pace according to Granitt. "Keep close my friends, I might be able to help you should we be attacked." his voice deep and growly, as he concentrates on getting through the gap to the cavern.

GM:

As a reaction, Granitt will use his Retributive Strike and Ranged Reprisal so that he can move up to 5ft to attack and gives Resistance 6 against the strike to the ally that is struck.

If his is attacked first and suffers over 15HPs damage, will use shield block if his shield is readied.

Hornietelle bows to Lieutenant Eloqi "I am Hornietelle, now of the Pathfinders, but previously from the great city of Caliphas, where I was daughter of the House of Yvestian. These are my companions and equals in the Society, though I and my friend Zelphari Caryarus here represent the more diplomatic side. And Arvax, like you born of the nation of Oprak, from the great city of Hunthal" she bows again as her outstretched arm points to the Hobgoblin in their party. "Mindartis Nightbreeze, of the forests, Mimi de Valence from the fencing academy in Gralton, Evindal Mog student of Mogmurch." As she finishes her introductions, she bows once more.

Now standing tall and looking straight at the Lieutenant, Hornietelle continues with her voice soft and silky, yet full of confidence, "It is an honour to meet such a renown fighter and leader in the Ironfang Legion. A trusted ally given and advisor to General Azaersi. Know we come as your friends and allies, in the talks ahead."

Nodding to Zelphari, she coaxes him to join the conversation with Eloqui, as they start a more formal introductory discussion.

"At last ... time for a drink and some grub." a gruff voice speaks from out of a mass of red beard and furs. The beard has been blown to cover his face by the winds blowing through the alleys of the city, leaving nothing to see of the face, just red hair, furs, a glint of polished armour and a shield etched with the image of a hammer. As the dwarf enters he reaches down and places a large ancient looking battleaxe leaning against the wall, reaching into a pocket with his free hand he retrieves a metal comb and starts to brush out his beard. He grumbles loudly under his breath, "Gotta remember, plaits to make me look pretty in Absalom, keep everything in place, nice and tidy."

His bright blue eyes look around, [b]"Ah, they look some likely folk, I mean you don't get our sort from the sunshine state over here very often." he chuckles to himself. "Me names Granitt, glad to meets you." he offers his hand to the one eating onion soup. He shakes his head in delight and his beard flies all over, sending a cloud of dust around him as he does. "Sorry about that, I was gonna have a bath, but got an invite over here." he smiles somewhere behind the red bushy beard.

As he surveys around the room, he blinks as he recognises other that could well be fellow Pathfinders, "Ahh, looks like we got a few fine fellows, time to order me beer and grub then." he says to no-one in particular, but then shouts to the wench serving the tables, [b]"Some of your best meaty stew and an Admiral Ale, if you got one.... no make it two, I'm parched! the gruff gravelly voice heard clearly.

With a cough after supping his two mugs of ale, ordering another, the dwarf rises and joins in the game of arm wrestling, the hours at the forge should have given him some strength. His face goes as red as his beard, when he strains and uses his arm. Overhearing Mandoo introduce himself to others, the gravel voice under pressure of the wrestle, splutters out between breathes, "Good to meet, ....... Man....doo.... and you .... Mrs Man... @GM Farol - Working on the background (which seems to have been lost in the annuls of time), but you have met Granitt before on the ill-fated race through the ice cold wastes of the Lands of the Linnorm Kings. It was then when the unfortunate Mad Hopper, alchemist extraordinaire, passed to Pharesma's judgement....

Quote:

The victory seems a defeat for Granitt, his head bowed he enters into the celebrations with little appetite for frivolity. He grumbles to himself, "We ... I failed him, he may have been a goblin, but he was my friend. More than that he was my brother in battle." a tear weals in his eye. He cuts off the final inch of his fine red beard and lays it Under Hopper's hand which is across his chest. "Torag, put in a good word for him, when he reaches the boneyard. He may not have had the body of a dwarf, but he had our spirit."

(Then I spent time I should have been working and wrote it up....)

It is this experience that has hung heavy on him in his missions since, that he was not able to hold the line and keep the beasts at bay from his friends. Melancholia has followed him ever since, dour, stubborn as dwarf's are, this has given him more dour, more stubborn. More than once has he returned to the Wall of Remembrance to lay trophies to the fallen.

His beginning, now just memories, were of a happy time growing up and learning the ways of the dwarven kind. Happy to give thanks to Torag and stay at the forge, wielding his hammer to beat the red hot metal in place. That is until his family were expelled from their settlement in the Five Kings Mountains, when his father was convicted of a theft and his family disgraced. He felt the shame and after many years he decided bring back honour to his family, the only way he knew, by becoming a champion of Torag, to defeat Torag's foes and protect family and friends from adversity.

In time he joined the Pathfinders, where his early failures have driven him to take on undead creatures in the sewers of Absalom, travel to Tian and eventually return to the mountains and explore under Droskar's Crag, into the Pallid Peak. But that exploration still left questions unanswered...

Hornietelle nods to Mimi, before taking a goblet of wine and wetting her lips, before getting to know the rest of the Pathfinders.

Over the ensuing drinks, she tells of her previous missions, of the River Kingdoms, where she has encountered revolution and a creepy, eerie encounter with a corn-dolly witch. When through Calistria's grace she has empowered weapons against the undead and the living.

She asks Nightbreeze about his relationship with Ketephys and his pet hawk Mialee. Their experiences of the forests, for she is most certainly more at home in the city, with her parents being in the diplomatic mission at Ustalav.

She asks Nightbreeze about his relationship with Ketephys and his pet hawk Mialee. Their experiences of the forests, for she is most certainly more at home in the city, with her parents being in the diplomatic mission at Ustalav. Warming to the man, as she is pleased one of her own is part of the company for a change.

As for the elderly elf, Evindal, she is somewhat taken aback by the smell of chemicals that comes from his clothing, discoloured fingers and nails. Despite his looks, she finds that he is not altogether one of their kind, neither at home in the wilds and forests, nor in the city, but somewhere in between, the blackened underbelly of the city maybe?

Though her curiosity is peaked by the hobgoblin Arvax, "The Great Inventor", she hides her reticence behind a facade of good manners, enquiring after what inventions he has made and their use? And how he will bring his talents to bear?

To Zelphari she understands the short lived human as is Mimi, impatient as most of their kind are, but once more intrigued by the man, his scars and his pendant. A small offering to Irori, A man of honour maybe, but definitely a warrior, a fighter. Though maybe this one is different, he may be seeking a different path to know himself.

To Mimi she just smiles, knowing her rapier is as deadly as her smile.

On the way through the dock area, Hornietelle seeks out a warehouse with wares from the north. She momentarily moves to one of the warehouses, it's great wooden doors open, exposing shelves of fur coats, suitable for trappers and others in the cold climes.

Running her forefinger down the cheek of Gartson Hanred, the merchant, she quickly influences the man to her obvious charms. He shuffles off into the back of the warehouse, finding the finest furs and warm clothing fit for a priestess of Calistria. She beckons to her companions, "Gartson offers the best furs and warm clothes in Korvosa, he will find the best fit for you if you want?" she informs you.

A tall elven woman glides into the room, her closely fitting black leather armour with its lines of yellow gold studs(not real), is more a fashion accessory than it seems armour. She is haughty and with a certain arrogance, "I've arrived." A sweet smelling perfume lingers in the air as she flick back her golden and red flecked hair. Her movements seductive and well rehearsed. Her hands move down over her body as though brushing away the corruption of the relic. As her hands move, they accentuate the slim curves and the white flesh of her breasts that appear suggestively from her close fitting leather.

She seeks comfort and reassurance as she fingers the leather whip attached to her black leather belt. She whispers in a sultry voice "Sting." the name warms her very soul.

A longbow made of finest elven elm, is flung over one smooth shoulder, whilst a dagger is held tight against the leather covering one of her long legs, a small thin black belt above her thigh like a garter keeping it in place. The soft red leather hilt with golden symbols sticks out of a sheath for a blade long, thin and ending in a deadly point. Her leg extends from firm and athletic buttocks tight in the leather armour.

It takes a second or even third look, to notice just above her breasts, moving slowly and seductively up and down, a small ornamental charm on a necklace, the charm is of a wasp.

She suddenly stops her stylized entrance as her eyes looks across to a human woman, drinking a beer. Her face breaks into a smile as she walks over and puts an arm gently on the woman's shoulder, "Well Mimi, you again!" her voice soft and sultry, "It's been some time since we where novices in the River Kingdoms, perhaps you can introduce me to

In the smoke, eyes water making it even more difficult to see anything, the smoke thickens as dust and rubble get mixed with smoke bellowing out from the scones under the statues. The statues themselves start to crack as the pressure of the moving earth bares down on the corridors. The party start to feel rocks and earth start to bounce off their shoulders. A warning maybe that their progress is being slowed. The sparks fly through the like small flaming darts, the grow in intensity. As their paths are interrupted by the roots now falling down through the ceiling, the roots flare in intense heat and sudden explosions.

It is too late as the party fumble through the corridor as with one last loud crack the world falls on the party, burying Rangi, Iustanus, Jak, Webny, Pooka and Shayla under falling rocks earth and trees that blck and bury the collapsed corridor. With earth and spittle in their mouths, each of the Pathfinders find themselves buried alive, but the gods look down of them with compassion, rather than finding their life's blood squeezed and crushed out of them, each of the party is separated for the others, each in their own grave, each in a pocket of smokey air. Each now in their own pocket of blackness, each feeling the inky blackness of unconsciousness take them closer to the end, to a meeting place with Pharesma in her judgement.

........................

How long the party were underground, they did not know, but as eyes opened and pain was felt, rather than Pharesma's realm, they found themselves looking up at the flapping canvas of the Pathfinder camp. The canvas of one of the medical centre, where clerics used their gods powers to magically heal injured Pathfinders. Bandages, some soaked in blood, bind your legs, arms and bodies.

Everyone is in the field hospital of the Pathfinder's camp where you get your wounds and diseases treated and later to recuperate for a bit. After everyone has been seen to, Eando visits, looking to debrief you. He listens with rapt attention to everything the you have to say, and though the tone of his voices is severe, he reassures you that you did an excellent job. Your findings will shed new light on the situation, which for now, has raised more questions than answers.

Before leaving, Eando gives everyone a firm handshake and thanks them for risking their lives for the Society. Daana and Jaci come to visit a bit later, concerned about how you are doing after the great catestrophic collapse of the building into flames, which means their teams of archaeologists have slow and painstaking work ahead of them.

After a couple of days you join the hustle and bustle of the camp as you rejoin the Pathfinders work and activities. Soon you are ready for the next mission, hopefully with less danger than this.

With Outpost starting soon, I am planning to start up the adventure Troubles in Otari around 19th March. The adventure is sanctioned for PFS credit. The recruitment thread will be open for applications from Sunday March 6th, by which time I will have everything sorted for character creation.

There are 2 spots reserved for a couple of characters, so I can take another 2-4 campaign characters.

I don't particularly like guns in Pathfinder play, so gun wielding murder hobo characters are not being allowed and neither are their guns.

New characters start with wealth according to Table 10-10 Starting Wealth for Level 2. Either Gold and item, or Lump Sum.

I will add further details about character creation and stuff before Sunday 6th in the recruitment/campaign thread.

Though as you watch, you realise that now that the body has moved the left arm sits at a strange angle, as though it had been left behind inanimate as the trolls body moved. Looking down at the right leg, it stays stuck held by the roots, as though it has been broken, held in a totally unnatural position. The stone continues to shine spasmodically as you hear ....

Pooka:

You seem to hear these words spoken in Goblin, though you could swear there was no echo and no sounds heard.
"I have named myself Amkha. That is what I would ask that others call me. To my friends, also Amkha. But who are you, that has some many questions?" in an uncomfortable tone.

Iustanus:

You seem to hear these words spoken in Draconic, though you could swear there was no echo and no sounds heard.
"You flatter me, oh little dragon, but time what is time?...." the first sarcastic words fade into a deep thoughtfulness.

Shayla:

You seem to hear these words spoken in Common, though you could swear there was no echo and no sounds heard.
"It is a good question ..... but what do I call you and where are you from, young one? It's been a long time since I had any visitors."

Rangi:

You seem to hear these words spoken in Orcish, though you could swear there was no echo and no sounds heard.
"Hiding behind a shield in my presence, what do I call you, tall, frightened one!" the voice almost mocks Rangi's silence.

Webny:

You seem to hear these words spoken in Common, though you could swear there was no echo and no sounds heard.
"Don't hide in the darkness, I still see you, whatever they call you?" the voice asks questioningly.

Jak:

You seem to hear these words spoken in Common, though you could swear there was no echo and no sounds heard.
"You hide under a hood and you bring your symbols with you, but what do I call you who come and wake me? From wherever you have arrived?" the voice says sarcastically as though not impressed by the holy symbols you wear, but still the voice is unsure of who and where you have come from.

After the last encounter, the one with the hand and the zombie, despite Rangi's call for healing, nobody actually did Treat Wounds.

So I will assume that you spend time before you sleep treating wounds and when you wake the next day, anyone injured receives 18HPs back from Jak's treatment of your wounds (avg HPs from 2d8 x2) and will loose the wounded condition.

Shayla picks her torch, making her way forwards towards the dropped object. As she moves forward, the torch light radiates over the slate finger. The finger glows slightly, but as it does it seems to create its own darkness as though devouring the light. Shayla, engrossed by the strange stone finger, doesn't seem to notice that the torch light doesn't seem to penetrate into the darkness as it should as though a shroud protects the silent corridors.

Then there is a movement in the black, a shuffling. Two large cyclopean skeletons emerge from the the empty void, they stagger unsteadily towards Shayla their bones rattling as they approach, but the dark energies that hold the bones together seems to fade. The bones start to fall and as they do a menacing vortex catches the bones in a whirlpool of air that lurches towards the stunned halfling. As she watches the vortex intensify, expecting to hear the swirling winds, but hears only silence.

As suddenly as it came, the deathly winds subside depositing a pile of bones at Shayla's feet. Looking down she sees a brief glint of brown-green light amongst the bones that are yellow with age and death. Shayla bends picking up the slate finger in her hand, as the darkness that sucked the light from around fails, the torch light illuminates the ground. As though whatever life force Shayla still holds in her being, has been enough to disrupt the dark powers and their energy. Or was it the last through of the black-hearted altar.

Shayla stands, silence returns.....

De Sibelius starts to note down the condition and state of the statues as he grumbles into his journal. "Big crows ... no, could be well weathered ravens...why everyone says they are new additions.... umpf and not well looked after ... been broken .... needs repairs, remember to addd that to the charges .... hmmm! ... " the gnome stops and considers the significance of the statues, pulling at his beard and adjusting the glasses on his nose. Before he shrugs and buries himself into his journal once more, noting, "Tasty looking berries in the area, worth a look."

The gnome seeing the fresh food available, Recall Knowledge about Nature +2 calls to his companions, "Ummm, perhaps we could take a few fresh berries for supper?" he says as he points to the bushes.

If the fresh berries are behind the membrane, then de Sibelius will just mark the bushes down in his inventory to return to later, same with the tree if he sees any fruit on it or on the ground around it.

As Fundin broaches the subject of returning to town, de Sibelius is eager to find a safe, warm and comfortable bed to sleep in ...

You wake the next morning anxious to know more about this important mission for which you have been chosen.

As the day begins, the patrols guarding the camp, continue dour faced as they trudge their weary way around the camp, where security has tightened since first Istanus, Jak Tooley, Pooka Palooka, Rangi and Webny first arrived at the camp many days ago. It was after their first mission that things changed, the appearance of a strange demonic figure kidnapping a member of the Decemvirate, leaving only their magical helm behind, had changed all that.

Shayla Quickfingers looks excitedly around at the camp, rising from it's slumbers.

Now walking through the ordered rows of tents everything was sombre and workmanlike, with men and women like ants milling around, each with their tasks set out. There are all races in the camp, humans from several parts of Golarion, dressed in different styles of clothing, half-orcs of various shades of green. Elves walk silently and haughty through the other races, gnomes busy making useful and useless implements, whilst halflings make and eat many breakfasts throughout the day. The camp is alive and preparing for a new day, as six Pathfinders walk with determined steps towards one of the larger tents, the tent of the Vigilant Seal faction leader Eando Kline. All the talk was of how he has now taken charge of the investigation into the appearance of the strange demonic figure and the exploration into Min-Khadaim.

Passing you by a cold, finger blowing Pathfinder suddenly stops, turns his face rude and healthy in the morning, "Ahhh, you'll be off soon then? Good luck, remember to pass by Quartermaster Aram bin-Kaleel if you need to get any new equipment." he smiles. The sound of an experienced Pathfinder's voice encouraging you, provides you with cheer for the forthcoming adventure.

As the company of Pathfinders reach Eando Kline's tent for the briefing, two armoured and experienced warriors of the Vigilant Seal, stop your progress. As each of you show your invitation, they let the flaps of the tent be opened so you may enter.

Eando Kline stands in his pavilion tent, rubbing his beard and looking at a sketched map of the cyclopean city of Min-Khadaim pinned to a table. Wooden markers indicate digs in progress, sites of interest, and potential threats. He looks up, his brow furrowed in thought.

“Ah, Pathfinders. How good of you to come on such short notice. We are in need of your expertise. Please, sit down.” He gestures to two benches on either side of the table. “It is good to see you. Our mission into Iobaria has recently changed. While we’ve had expeditions into these lands before, with the Society back to strength it is now time to explore this frontier once more. At least, we thought it was, but no sooner had we begun than one of the Decemvirate was abducted by a demonic figure. We need to do further research to understand what may have caused this—we need to uncover the history of Koloran, the nation that once thrived here, far from the Ghol-Gan empire in Garun[b]d. Vigilant Seal members have been going around the city, inventorying sites of interest. We have begun excavating the entrance to an underground complex, led by fire iconography at surface ruins.”

Eando points to the location on the map. “A team has been making good progress widening the entrance here for easy access, but they discovered a number of bones in the neighboring room, some quite fresh. These ruins are clearly not as abandoned as they first appeared to be. I need you to go to the site, thoroughly explore the ruins, and report back with anything you discover. Cyclops is a fairly obscure language, and it has changed somewhat since the days of Koloran, so I’ll be sending you with translation assistance.”

He pulls a small book, handing it over with a satisfied nod. “Any questions?”

To Recall knowledge, make the roll in a spoiler and don't look.
If you want to recall knowledge about Cyclops, use either Society or Cyclops Lore
If you want to recall knowledge about Iobaria, use either Nature (if your character has a cert for Scenario 1-15 Blooming Catastrophe let me know).

Webny strikes the creature hard with a couple of quick blows, that first crushes the chest into the unbeating heart and then as it falls another blow crashes through the eye socket into it's mindless brain. It falls, it's spirit released to judgement and it's body inert, unmoving, no longer a threat.

Without a threat or having to inflict more damage on the undead, Rangi can be stabilised quickly by Jak or Rashid, both able to connect to their gods.

Similarly Tonraq is able to heal Oogi, bringing his friend life back into his body, Oogi's eye blink as the light hits the bear's sight.

On another tack ... most of the bands are UK folk type bands or are old UK chart bands from the 70s-80s time frame .... the later would have been doing world tours, but not any more and not in the charts. Still they make people happy and that's what we need after Covid lockdowns.

Just going back, apologies if I didn't say I was work at a music festival this weekend just gone ... Going back I see that a post I wrote with details of the festival and to botting instructions for Jac seem to have got lost, or have in my memory. So sorry about disappearing for a few day.

Got back from the festival yesterday ...

See highlights for the Wickham Festival 2021 on Google, YouTube. Six days of chaos and mud. The main stage was deemed unfit, electricity and rain don't mix. So was down to 3 stages, Main Stage to the big top, big top to a smallish marquee etc... Oh and the mud... we had lots of it ...

Tractors had to put cars into the car park, as well as take them out.

I'll be with you all soon ... catching up with work and life still.

Not sure if you've finished the scenario, but will find out later today.

As the party recover from their experiences, they are able to pick up the pieces of molten silver that you saw when you first entered the corridor. 1 treasure bundle

Pooka, you get your Soothe Spell back .... Rangi can be healed using standard medicine treat wounds checks out of combat ...

I take it you will spend time recovering from this encounter and heal up to full, taking as much time as you need. If you do it takes a few hours here treating wounds and you all get back to full hit points.

Rashid and Tonraq (or really Oogi) get 1 Hero Point each for bravery.... Pooka gets 1 Hero Point for his superb singing... I know it's not usual to award this many Hero Points, but lets just say you deserve them.
