Hey everyone this is probably too early but I've been surfing the boards trying to find any info on Gen Con society games with no luck. So my question is when (even a rough estimate is nice) will the call go out for GM volunteers for Gen Con?
Also how does the signup for games work? Is there a similar system to paizo con's setup or is it more of a FCFS basis?
Any info is appreciated. Planning my first trip to Gen Con and trying to map all the dates I need to do stuff on. I have a extremely busy job so its difficult for me to remember to keep checking back if I don't plan everything ahead of time.

Hey everyone im going to start a savage tide game in a few months with 15th level players so going to bring them in at magazine 146 and play from level 15. Anyone have the magazines or hard copies and want to sell them or donate? I cant find the set online or on ebay.

Good morning. I'll be playing a strength based alchemist. This character was originally a undead lord cleric but when they errataed out that archetype I needed to remake the character. Haven't done so until now so I'm putting the finishing touches on the character sheet.

Hey checking in. Sorry I work evenings and it has been hectic the last few days. I'll work on getting my character profile setup.

Pregens are never a bad choice. I have most of the books so I'm building my own. If you don't have the books you can pretty much build a human with any class as I understand it. The new races replace all the elves and dwarves and such. Neo just adds to the feats and spells and such so anything normally allowed in pathfinder as far as feats and spells is pretty much fair game. Though you will want to download the free guide to organized play if you build your own character, similar to the guide to society, and he's got a link to it on the event page for the game under the con's event page.

Cool.My partner is bringing an enuka barbarian and I am bringing an enuka star based alchemist. Should be fun.

Anyone know what level the Saturday 1pm Neoexodus game named As if it could get any worse should be? Kind of last minute but I forgot to make a character.

Hey here is probably a noob question for you guys, are special vendors going to be announced prior to the con? Such as last year there were artists who painted portraits of your characters for cheap prices. I would love to know if they will be listed someone on the paizo website so i can drool over them and proportion siphons from my food budget for the trip to special miniatures and portraits bwhahaha. Any information would be appreciated thanks. ^_^

Is this event for volunteers only or for people attending the convention?

Yes. June 14th at 2pm you can start adding open registration events.

What time zone is that 2pm at? I really want to make sure me and my GF get into the special. If i get all dressed up in armor and don't get in I will be very sad.

I am attending with my 10 year old. There are not many gaming events that are below 13+.

How rigid are the age limits? When signing up for a session I don't imagine "age" is entered/verified ... but I would not want to show up and piss anyone off!

He's pretty mature, remembers plot points and names better than me (I need notes!) and he reads well beyond his age, but not yet being assimilated into homogeneous-adult-hood-culture his solutions are often non-orthodox.

Last, what are the age ratings on the coming PFS schedule?

PFS for one is almost universally all ages. We have a game downtown that has one table of adults and one table of kids between the ages of 8-14 and both tables play the same scenario. So for Society I wouldn't worry about the age limit.

Friday at 7pm according to my GM schedule.

Is there going to be a lottery sign up for it? I want to make sure to keep my schedule clear for that if there is.

This years special is Siege of the Diamond City, and no other PFS games will be run during that time, as staff will be tied up running the multi-table event.

O that sounds fun. Do you know what day this Siege of the Diamond City will be? I am dressing up in full chainmail armor one day of the con and would love to make preparations for the right day so that I can role play to my heart's content.

Nope. PFS is open. I'll be adding those events onto the schedule over the next few days so people can see times and descriptions. When the lottery is over, they will be available on a first come first serve basis. There are a TON of PFS games.

Is there going to be a different mass roleplay event that I should save my lottery openings for? I don't want to sign up for a bunch of stuff and then see a super awesome massive event like grand convocation and miss out.

Cool, thanks Liz. I missed it last year and had to GM the whole time for peeps like me who missed it. Not saying I didn't have a good time, just would prefer to also play a little. And I definately want to sign up for the grand convocation.

Cool thanks for your advice. My eidolon is a quad so he also gets reach out of the spell where as if he got the large evolution reach is only given to the biped so I guess I get reach for free. I am deeply ok with that. Thanks again for help :D

So I am making a level 5 summoner to play up for a society module. In building said summoner I need a little help on how large effects the eidolon.
I know that when you get the large evolution it gives +8 str and all kinds of other good things. My summoner is not high enough to get large so I was thinking of using a enlarge person wand and just tap him every time we go into a danger zone. However the stats for the
large" condition specified in the spell are different than the large condition for an eidolon.
*My question is since I am making my eidolon large with the spell do I use the stats for a large eidolon or use the stats from the spell "enlarge person"? I guess I am not sure if the eidolon is treated different?
