15 point buy
6th level and APG, Core and ultimate books allowed.
I need him by Thursday...
I will work on it to i am just (as i have said before) not a great builder.

I recently died (again) in my kingmaker Campaign. Now I wantto make something completely different. However, I am really good at concept and really horrible at building. Can you please help?

I can use the core book,The APG and the ultimate books
- We have a 15 point Buy
- I want to be a gnome (irl and ig)
- I am coming in at 6th level.
HELP ME PLEASE

The core and the ultimates are available with a 15 point buy and i need to be the primary dmg dealer...any thoughts think of "The Bat" the 1944 alternate universe batman or like the upclose punch the bad guys in face batman....help me please

So I want to build a guy similar to the character Kristoff from the Movie frozen, but would like him to be able to call out little snowmen elementals ala Summon monster. So i thought maybe a mouted druid on a moose of course.

15 point buy all the core and ultimate books. Human Druid on Mooseback with snowmen fighting with him :)

can you help?

It says sin eating takes the place of a domain does that means he loses the domain/domain abilities or when he loses domain he loses spells

Half orc
15 point buy
I want him able to do melee but be all icy cold spells
I have thought barb/oracle of the waves
or battle cleric with appropriate domains

We can use the core and theultimate pf books

Help?

I have gotten so many great suggestions but I woul dlike help kind of nailing down the build.
2nd level Gnome
15 pt buy
Traits? Feats? Classes?
We can only use the core books and the ultimate books minus the races.

Originally, I mentioned Robin and i got a lot of great suggestions to build him. So I left him in the title but would like to talk about what i want to focus on and how best to make him effective.

I want him to be able to fight and do dmg (monk and ninja come to mind)
I want him to be stealthy (ninja and ranger)
I want him to throw Smoke bombs and stuff like that and still be effective at 20th level (alchemist)

What is the best combination of those or individual class to get the most of what I want?

Personally I like the visual of monk but like the extra Dmg from ninja. I dont wnat to spend a hecka lotta a ki on smoke bombs and so if i had them as extracts or discoveries maybe that would be better (grenadier maybe) Thoughts anyone?

ok so we got a 15 point buy and my pc I am playing is starting to well rub the other pcs the wrong way. Plus a major tie in to the group is leaving (PC and Player are moving. I would like to build a Robin more like (cartoon series)young justice Tim Drake and teen titans dick grayson. I think Jason Todd is awesome and so is Damian Wayne but they are little to killy for me. we can use the core books and the ultimate books. SO HELP?

All PF books allowed UM, UC, CORE, etc...
20 pt buy, halfling, I think I want to do arcane archer...ready go. Thanks guys

Applicant #1:
Assuming that Luck and at least Drago are sitting at the table:
A thin gaunt faced elf walks up to the table. His hair is bright
yellow and his glasses are black and over his eyes his collar is
zipped up around his face. He seems to look at the two of you as
though he is seeking your faces for a tell. Hello, my name is Felireal
Lunnanocht, However, most call me Mr. Black. I am from Kyonin, but
have traveled far from home and been to places few have ever seen. I
seek to kill evil, so that sins of my own past my be rectified. My
patron tells me that this is the quickest way to redemption.

Applicant #2:
You two smell of Dragon and Jungle Rot.The names Arnett Copperpot.
What can i kill for you? A very old dwarve steps up to the table
heavily clad in armor. A wiery long white beard hanging down to his
waist. His face is weather beaten and very wrinkled. He clings to a
dwarven waraxe in one hand and a shield in the other. On his shield
there are crossed picks I am from the mines of SouthMoor You might
have heard of me. I also have two grand kids serving on long campaigns
as well. Are you staring at me? Never seen a Dwarf of my age so virile
and ready to fight. C'mon lads buck up and give me a contract if you
wanna succeed at this event. The last crew of young bucks quite on me,
so here is your chance to solve all your issues and pick the best most
experienced fighter out there.

Applicant #3
A Halfling walks up clad in what looks like the skin of a large lizard
his skin is bark tan and his hair is matted at best. He says nothing.
He only draws his bow points the tip down. Then tips his head side to
side as though listening for something. Right eyebrow rises he turns
and lets loose three arrows. The first pins something to the wall, the
second hits the wall and a ring of fire bursts from it at just the
right distance to singe the first, and the third splits the first in
half all the way to the head. He walks over to the wall and pulls what
looks to be a bug from it, brings it back to the table and sets it
down. Now obviously two halves of a bug. "I cooked it, you want half."
A big toothy Grin spreads across his face.

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

We are near the end of serpent skull, and we had a near party wipe. The dm allowed for the two survivors to travel to absalon and put out an all call for adventurers. I am a role player so what kind of person at 16th level gets a call and isn't already engadged in a campaign of their own. Help me please I need ideas, and the gate is wide open. Except gnome wizard he was the one digested by a...

Kung Fu Panda meets Avatar the Last Airbender = legen...wait for it...dary! Just think of it anthropomorphic animals doing kung fu elemntal bending styles. PLEASE NO APPLAUDS (applaud loudly) I know greatest idea ever!

So i am watching harry potter again. I want to know using the current rules for PFRPG how would one build a harry potter wizard?

The Wayfarer's Guild is similar to the Pathfinders Society, but much more loosely organized, and where the Pathfinders spend most of their time finding hidden treasures the Wayfarer's are known more for going to dangerous locations and clearing the way for others to explore.

A saying of the Wayfarer’s: “We find the way so the pathfinder’s can travel the path.”

Wayfarers are not required to turn over any profits or treasure, unless the treasure is a specific part of the mission, to the greater organization or to keep a log. Only to give an honest account to The ROM or Romy (Regional Operations Manager) that issued the mission of all the areas cleared, deaths that occurred, and any issues with other members. Adventures will be given out either by direct contact, direct post or messages featuring the Wayfarers Guild symbol (a lit lantern) hung at local gathering places. In any of those situations Adventurers answering the post must report to an ROM and will be given reward info and possibly mission specific equipment (that will be returned at the end of the mission.) Non-Wayfarers or ex-Wayfarers can participate if they are needed for the mission. However, they will not receive any of the reward or mission specific items and Wayfarers get first dibs in the field.

Wayfarers like Pathfinders come from many walks of life, because of this there is one rule all Wayfarers observe:
“Get along, until the mission is done and everyone gets out alive.”

All should know that if they do not observe this rule on the mission they may receive the black mark which means they will no longer receive mission rewards or any mission specific equipment. If they wish they can remove the mark by participating in three adventures, and following the rule. Then they will be reinstated. They can also receive the black mark for violations against the organization as a whole. These disciplinary actions will be determined by the ROM in charge of the region or mission.

We hope all who read this to consider this as an invitation to become a member of the guild. Thank you

Garnett Stoneshield, Bearer of the Lanterns Light,
"May your missions find you well, and your lantern be a light showing the way."

So i got killed and my DM sends me this E-mail(my PC is Duncan). Who is the deity?being he is describing. I think he may be evil...My guesses are Nethys, A servant of pharasma, or ancient old one, or azlanti god...HELP!

The pain is searing but brief as 5 enervation rays transfix Duncan's body and he drops to the floor.
He feels his soul unravelling, his consciousness floating into a cold, gray void.
On the threshold of hearing, then louder, then louder still he hears an inhuman chanting--an Aklo incantation clinging to his mind, seeking entry. The rhythm is throbbing. He sees a green lidded eye, unblinking, studying him with curiosity, and with something like hunger. It would be so easy to surrender. So easy...
A tinkling crystalline sound interrupts the chant, as a spiral of mirrorlike fragments scatter deep, barely visible purple light. The Eye recoils, then is gone. The swirling shards sweep Duncan away--down? up? as the gray void lightens into pale silver.
He is in a room, monumental in scale, before a throne of black marble with platinum fittings. On the seat of the throne slumps a pile of gray dust that begins to rise up and swirl like the shards. As he watches it takes on a humanoid shape, nobly proportioned with coal black skin, black teeth, snow white hair.
Duncan tenses--more of the Drow or their breed? But as he looks towards the black eyes with white pupils he has a sudden insight. He looks down at his own hand (exulting that yes, it is there) of slate gray, his scrolls of black vellum titled with white ink, and realizes where he is--somewhere on the Plane of Shadow or one of its demiplanes. Light is dark here, dark is light.
Now the figure before him is fully reconstituted and comes to a semblance of life--not exactly life but something like it. The figure is handsome and richly dressed, larger than a human but gracefully proportioned. His features are handsome but not exactly human with slanting eyes, pointed ears, an elongated jawline. White tattoos--like arcane sigils but none Duncan recognizes--trace up his fingers and arms. A ring on his right hand looks to be carved of a single gem, glowing with the deep purple light on the edge of vision.
The figure looks at Duncan and speaks, his voice like a distant bell, his language a mixture of draconic and Azlanti that Duncan can understand well enough.
"Greetings, mortal. Well might Yog'oltha have his eye on you, but he serves a purpose even he can hardly have guessed. Do you know to Whom you speak?"

ok so just a little fun social experiment. I stated myself out using the core rpg. using these stats what would you make me out to be.
I am 5'8 220lbs broad chested and have a short red beard.
Str: 15
This is based on carrying canoes in the boundary waters, MN about 126 lbs over my head would def slow me down.
Dex: 10
There was once a time when this was much higher, but now adays I tend to take hits, but keep going.
Con: 14
This goes back to my previous statement, i kind of take the personal slogan never give up to heart, however i do have diabetes soo yeah. However I never miss a day of work b/c of ailment so...
Int: 16
I speak 3 languages so I gave myself the stat that gives me 3 bonus language slots
Wis: 14
My wife says i am not very perceptive, but my job depends on me being wise about my choices so I did my best
Cha: 18
I work with kids and can control about 90 at a time so i figured they 1/3 cr so... i gave myself this score

So Str 15, Dex 10, Con 14, Int 16, Wis 14, Cha 18

Using those stats what would you build? CRB, APG, UM, UC

The rest of the party Sorc, Ranger, Gunslinger
I could just make a Tanking Cleric, but I glued a Bow on my mini, and recently read Son of Neptune, and loved the character Frank Zhong (bow) so...Help or continue helping please?

one more time 20 point build/has to fight/ has to heal/ has to be a dwarf blah I hate thinking...I just want to play something fun but help out the party.

I thought maybe Druid with the hunters eye trait to get the bow, and then build him like the aspect of the beast from treantmonk. I dunno, do you think an all ranged party can be effective?

I want to be a dwarf, and I got 20 point buy. Building it for the Jade Regent AP? I would like to shoot arrows, from a distance, use a reach weapon in close quarters and a surprise pull a morning star out and pound evil to the ground. How do i build it? do i do just like Treantmonks Drop and draw ranger or is there newer advice?

That there are no weekend updates. I always look each day at the updates. I feel a little loss on the weekends. I love you Paizo.

I have posted and gotten great responses, but every time I read something or see something. My mind flip around on the last idea, and i get all confused. So Please help me. We are starting Carrion Crown. I need a pc. I dont want to play a human (boring) but i want to play something fun and cool. I currently have an 11 Gnome wizard in another AP. I want to make something that mechanically is not too tough, but deals out dmg. I prefer Arcane over Divine spells, However, I like having spells. My fav. race is gnome, and currently for carrion crown we have a...Alchemist, Cleric, Rogue, Pally, an an arcane caster to be named later. HELP ME Give me some IDEAS. I can use all the Paizo stuff. From Core to UC.

I want to make a pc with an insect/fey theme that cast spells. So you know summoning swarm, web etc... I have kind of chosen three classes (I can use all paizo classes). Summoner, sorcerer sylvan bloodline & druid. Help me compare and cobtrast to get my gimmick, but make the pc survivable and fun.

So yeah does anyone else have the problem that I have? When someone asks me what I did on the weekend I just say I played D&D. They usually nod, and are fine. However, if I say Pathfinder they get all confused, and say what is that, and of course then you have to get into the whole D&D 3.5 to 4th ed. and how paizo changed the face of gaming convo. They usually look at me sigh and say something like oh TMI, Blah whatev. etc. So it is just easier to say play I played D&D. I feel like a Paizo traitor, a real 20th level Benedict Arnold, and I am a Paizo Purist. What can I do? somebody please help.

OK we are going to start Carrion Crown, and my DM has ok'd me to play a goblin. I want to play him possibly as an inquisitor. What I would like to do is tell you his back story, and see what you think about his deity and/or Domain.

As a young goblin Gripnok knew he was destined for something greater than the raids and foolishness of his brethren. As he grew and was taken from the cages of childhood he was wise enough to keep his mouth shut, and gleam what he could from his people. He developed a taste for cats, pickled food and several other Goblin habits, but he felt there had to be something more. Then one night during a raid he saw a cagemate perpetrating acts of violence on a child, and in that moment he could take no more. He drew his weapon and killed the other goblin. Within the goblin culture this act would not require banishment. It is what he did next that caused him to be chased from his tribe. He wrote as big as he could in the blood of the fallen Goblin one word STOP. During other raids he had taken books and hidden them and he had taught himself to read and write. He was immediately chased from his tribe. He ran as fast as he could until he came to the gnomish town of Umok. There he was taken in, caged and tortured. He would eventually escape, and realize from then on he had no place in the world to call home. Since then he would live his life on the move, and in survival mode. Each day he covers himself in the ash of the fire from his campsite the night before in homage to his burnt and spent potential, and then roams the continent taking the lives of monsters or opponents with no care sending them to the Boneyard. He is caught between two worlds with the habits of his goblin upbringing yet unable to go back there, and the wisdom oft associated with the humanoid races, and unable to fully take part in those cultures. He is lost, and alone and hopes only to find a place to be a part of something.

Could I scribe a scroll onto my arm. I am not referring to Tattoo Magic persay, but I am suggesting scribing them directly onto your skin. I could just imagine my wizard who is constantly in the library in whatever town he is in trying to get new spells. Coming out covered in ink and having run out of parchment writing on his skin. Some toughs show up and he goes to town reading the spells right off his forearm or palm or back of his hand as long as the cute librarians phone number isn't there...So thoughts? Personally I think it is genious Scrolls get used up once they are read, and it doesn't sya you can't just says it has to be fresh and unused so how many places could you fit a scroll on your body?

I say simple b/c it is meant to be more for looks than, actually functionality. I would like to keep it 0 or 1st lvl.

Elemental Skin
Transmutation or Evocation
Lvl. 0
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, M (a pinch of the element)
Range touch
Target creature touched
Duration 1 minute (D)
Saving Throw Will negates (harmless); Spell Resistance yes

The targets body is coated in a thin layer of an element he or she chooses. This second skin causes the targets body to look on fire, or ice...etc(think iceman, or sunspot from marvel comics). The target is granted a +1 bonus to AC and resistance of 3 vs. the element their body is covered in.

Thoughts...?

So I am making a gnome wizard. He is eigth level, and i am wondering what are some ways that he may have grown horns over his career, or maybe just look a little more like a fawn than most?

Ok so I run a pathfinder game through my church.Yes my church. Ok, now that we are past that. I have kids who want try an AP. Which ones the most pg without changing too much stuff? Any thoughts on this would be awesome.

So I have been playing since 7th garde, and I still really suck at mechanics. I know I need to play a pc that is all hit you or or all magic...ok so that is my ish. My party has cleric, a cavalier, a ranged inquisitor, a dragon disciple sorcerer and a rogue...what should I play, what do we need that could be fun and/or simple yet effective.

mode of attack, what is the best way /class to build him? I thought maybe summoner and have a centipede at my side. or a witch just cause they are buggy or maybe a wizard...help, thoughts?

Thanks for all your help. I think just one more thing. Should I pick a gnome, dwarf or halfling to be a cleric of gozreh and what domains? My unmodified stats are 15 16 13 13 13 11 and i need to build him at 2nd and 7th. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so i was all hype on this elven fighter idea, and now i am not soo much. I have an issue generating an idea without talking it out. Or seeing something cool, that sparks it. so where do your ideas come from? Sorry for the incessant chatter. It is how my mind works, and you guys know all the rules.

Ok so I need help. I have not played a Fighter in PF, and I have not played anything but small characters since 2002.
I want to make an elven fighter that is all over the board and using his elven curveblade or other finessable weapons to do damage.

I rolled his stats (with no mods yet) 15, 16, 13, 13, 13, 11

I need him at 2nd level and at 7th.
So yeah I need help with Feats, stat placement and items to buy.

I can use Core & APG

I am thinking small not necessarily gnome (although I do love gnomes) Druid. Dire Bat companion, help me fill in the blanks like feats and what not. Should he be an archer, lancer Oh and by the way I want to fly on the bat... Thoughts?

I want to use this guy as a reoccuring pc/npc for the youth game i run and possibly for the carrion Crown AP.
I havent rolled anything, but say 20pt buy and just give me your best ideas please:)

I got a MW shortbow and made it plus one = 2,330
So far so good I think. Then i also wantto make my str help so it is 75 for composite and 150 for a +2 str bonus so = 2,555 then i want to add frost +1 enhancement = 1,000
so grand total 3,555 is that right?

To hide certain parts of my casting to disquise it against others recognizing the spell.

I have a third level Gnome Necromancy. He wants to become vampire/ undead, but I don't want to play him as Evil. How do I do that?

Are there any quality multiclass builds for the summoner now that they APG is out. By quality I mean both Survivable and Fun. I either want to give myself more spells or hit with more dmg.

My thought was Summoner/ Rogue or Summoner/Ranger...Help
or Summoner/ Sorc

So here are some of my current ideas... (I'll give a couple of sentences and tell me which you think is the most interesting...please)

#1.You find him sitting cross legged on the ground his bronze, corpulent and tattooed body are obscured by a thick black Beard. He looks at you and with can only be described as a native islander accent. He says "What can I mix up for you today, something delicious or something that will help us defeat our opponent." His big toothy grin leaves you thinking he could probably do either in a pinch.

#2. A thin-faced, long-limbed, but solid man strolls idly by with blades stuck deep into his belt and his wide brimmed hat pulled down over his eyes shocks of greenish hair stick out from beneath and frame his ruddy colored face. A long blade of grace hangs from his lips. Within a few moments a long limbed and frightening figure a full two heads taller looms into view atop his skeletal shoulders rests a Jack-o-lantern with a toothless rye smile. The former pulls the grass from his mouth, and with his own rye smile says, "What can me and my friend Jack do for ya?"

#3.A man standing adroitly with shoulders covered in strange furs and trinkets, two eyes peer from out of a tribal looking mask of muted blues and striking whites. A green form fitting tunic and green pantaloons cover the remainder of his small, but sinuous body as though some mismatched puzzle of the arcane and divine were slapped together hastily in an attempt to be comical, yet striking. He looks at you first through the mask with muffled wheezing breath and speaks, "I am your father..., then quickly removing the mask revealing orange skin and green hair and says, how you like my outfit?"

#4.Solemn and quiet, small and reserved, face painted with white. He stands poised and ready, boomerang in hand, leather tunic tight against his weather beaten skin. The tension this pose creates is palpable. With a yell that is ear splitting he yelps and let's loose his weapon. His target never had a chance. Within a few steps, it falls. He is on it buck-knife already in hand and the carcass being gutted within minutes.

Ok tell me what you think; I deliberately left out race & class to give more opportunity for comment.

I am very impressed with all of paizo's classes. However, I was wondering if building a Wizard/ Rogue is a good idea with all the awesome level stuff in the new core classes. Or should you follow the addage never multi-class a caster...Help please, and waht is the best build for it?

So I played skirmish with my D&D minis for the first time yesterday onlyto find out that WOTC is phasing out of the way they are making minis and the whole D&D mini community is being supported by a seemingly grassroots org. called DDM. So guys at Paizo please buy the rights and/or support DDM and make more awesome pre-painted statted minis so i can add this to my repetoire of gaming, and why I love PAIZO.

Please!?!

So my friend and I are both into gaming he is a worship pastor at the church that my wife is a youth pastor at. We have some kids in the youth group who need another connection to keep coming back to church so PFS for youth groupers(5th-12thgr) is born. Yes, of course Jesus saves and takes half damage, amen. My question is I need to run the scenarios that are Pg or at most Pg-13, and pretty definitely 3hrs in length. I don't want them to be lame, so yeah any Suggestions?

I was wondering if there is anyone out there who totally gets how to resolve conflicts in Mouseguard. I have Gm'd the game multiple times and still I am not exactly sure if I have ever done it right. MayBe you could walk me through, or know of a good walkthrough...HELP I want to play it again!

Ok so I am running a homebrew campaign, and I have intro'd a few things that are a bit different. Air Balloons, Canadian Dwarves and plains native american halflings. I just saw the movie "How to Train Your Dragon." I kind of would like to intro this idea of trainable dragons or semi-dragons, but the group I am running for does not necessarily hold me to the rules or standard ideas, but I am afraid of going to far out there...Thoughts?
1. It may just take it too far over the edge?
2. How can intro the idea?

P.s. one of the guys is a Cleric of a Dragon, and is hoping to become a dracolyte. This could mness him up?

that has the APG classes in it. I suck at math and need them to make pcs.
