Fingo looks at Jaggere with growing concern.

I love chatting as much as the next person. More, probably, if I'm being honest. But I do think that we should keep the big reveals for less... dangerous times. We can tell you our whole story once we are back.

Note to GM:
I think there are some typos (or unfortunate slips) in the spoiler, as it mentions Aydrian...

A little surprised by the glib nature of the captive, Fingo looks at him carefully. Is he what he claims to be? Names are, after all, a powerful thing to give away sometimes.

Oooh, you poor thing. You must never have received personal orders from her Majestrix. It was simply grandiose. The Lady Cinder came to us, wrapped in infernal flames, commanding us to do the Queen's bidding. Every torch in the room flickered in rhythm with the flames in her eyes. Smoke swirled from every candles, and she infused our weapons with hellish energies. Just look!

Fingo gushes, pointing at Xun's bow. As he speaks, his mask takes on the appearance of Cinder, flames flickering on his cheeks.

There is nothing like the exhilaration of this experience. I hope that you will one day have the privilege to feel it yourselves.

The tone of the last sentence might leave the guards with the impression that Fingo strongly doubt that such an outcome is likely.

Yes, sorry for our appearance, it was a rough trip. But a few minutes in a bath, and we'll all smell like roses again.

@sazen: If your Heal is the standard divine spell, it's healing 2d8+16 at level 2, I think.

As Sazen quickly springs into action, Quisillo looks in bewilderment.

That's not what I...

He then remembers his ill-advised attempt to communicate with the tree, and the mimic's dubious welcome.

Sigh.
Right. Yes. That's probably safer.

As the centipedes burst out of the tree, Quisillo's playing speed increases.
Well, Morson, I guess you were right. No need to talk with these.

The closer the party came to Xarwin manor, the more excited Quisillo was getting. Could they really be on their way to a cursed town? He had been promised haunted houses and ghostly apparitions before, but each and every one had ended in disappointment; a silly prank that went too far or a trick of the light with annoyingly mundane explanations. This was such an opportunity!

As the manor comes into view, the young gnome's eyes can hardly leave its walls; it is only with Morsun's sudden exclamation, that his attention comes back to his companions, and to the bird watching them.
Well, that's a good sign Quisillo says brightly. Then noticing Morsun's morose tone, he adds You don't like this place? It's quite promising, I think!
