Our entire gaming crew unanimously voted to stay strong with PF original (just as it was also unanimous to go with PF years ago instead of going to 4e) --- I have every book created for 3.0/3.5/3.75 so looks like those are our locked in ruleset for life.

Please cancel all subs at the end of 1.0. I do not want ANY 2.0 material (neither hard copy nor PDF)

so as a summary,
I DO want Tyrant Grasp 6of6 but I DO NOT want Hellknight Hill 1of6.
I DO want PF Campaign Setting: Druma, Profit & Prophecy but I DO NOT want Hellknight Hill 1of6.
etc
etc
etc

Looks like strangely that you all combined 1.0 and 2.0 material into the next shipment, but if you could split that order and pull out the 1.01 stuff to send that would be great if it isn't too late. If it is too late then cancel all subs as of that order.

My gaming crew does not play Starfinder as much as we used to to justify my continued subbing to SF products so please cancel those as of now.

Also, my mailbox was knocked over by farm equipment and the post office erroneously sent back order #7694424 (PF Tyrant's Grasp 1of6) and (SF Fire Starters 1of6) to you instead of holding it for me like they did my other mail while I replaced the mailbox. Since I have paid for that please send that back to me thank you. The customer service email I was sent explained that I would owe shipping again which is understandable so I am giving permission here to extract that shipping fee.

I want to personally thank Paizo for saving the tabletop RPG genre the last decade, it has been a crazy fun ride.

In all of my experience with MMOs I have only come across two games that I felt came close to getting both PVE and PVP in a decent balance and both were fun. Star Wars Galaxies and Fallen Earth.

didn't play Fallen Earth but played MANY others

SWG is the only one that came close

I would still be playing it on the live servers but Sony borked up

have sold 4 other accounts in the last week and if you need the names of the individuals who bought those for verification of honesty i would be glad to PM you

have had PMs asking, have been selling the Day One XP accounts for $200, if you buy two i will sell for $325 combined

also, these were early KS pledges so have all awards possible

SWG was a tremendous game in my personal experience up to the CU

our whole guild was disenchanted by the CU

4 people marked this as a favorite.

My gaming day started after work.

...a nerve-wracking bank to bank running-mother-lode-node with 65 Tier2 recipes/maneuvers/spells

...Got on mumble and joined a philosophical discussion on alignment in MMOs vs tabletop vs real world where there were vast difference in opinion yet not one raised voice

...then a discussion about building a settlement from the ground up

...then listening in on an in-depth economics PFU lecture that turned into a discussion on holdings and outposts

...all the while running an exploring toon around hunting escalation levels in the non-claimed home hexes for the token rush Thursday (Friday?)

...then doing the running-simulation thing to a depleted home hex to join the last battle. The Moloch General went down quickly, but I had moved into an area where the evasion utility led me to fall down one of those unGodly mesas where getting back into the battle was not going to happen. So I just tried to target any mob that my fellow partymates kited into my range. I was able to help with two of the remaining. Looked in inventory to see two blue items and a purple item: Redouble, Death Ward, and Intense Crystal +3 recipe.

Fun times.

Then ran to another hex and in 35 minutes of escalation hunting my toon pulled in 4 tier 2 recipes.

Is the above worth a fifteen-dollar-a-month subscription in an unfinished game? To me it was worth fifteen dollars just that night, but wasn't much different in "fun" than any other night until...

...it all was drowned out by what happened near the end of my game night leading to more joy than all of the above combined. I had found a hex that was at its end and called out for anyone who wanted to help finish it off. It was low level (but hey the boss was already there so why not?). One university student whose toon in her words was only "three or four hours old" ran out from the starter town. We came up on the boss and saw where they had a gaggle of archers and I worried that she would become a human pincushion and lose whatever maneuver that popped, so the strategy was for her to shoot once and run and I would just sit there and hope to shoot the ones chasing her. We managed that and when I got rid of the archers I asked, "I got Rush, what maneuver did you get"?...

Augment

BOOM!

New version!

Version 1.2 (4/14/15): We've completely changed the way the website interacts with its database/model. With this change, we had to re-write hundreds of lines of code scattered throughout nearly every file in the website, but it was all worth it. The website should not experience any more slow-downs like we had been seeing in v1.1 (note: some of the larger pages may still take a couple seconds to load, and we're working to hopefully improve this), plus this change has enabled us to do some more fancy things throughout the website. In other news... StockList & StockDetails pages have been added. RecipeDetails page now has details about each recipe, along with a nifty ingredients tree. Dropdown for Achievement types has been added to the AchievementList page. Various obsolete things removed from the data model. Fixed a bug where the Player Killer achievement page gave a 500 Internal Server Error (thanks, Red!). Fixed a bug where Stock Items did not show their Stocks on the ItemList and ItemDetails pages. Fixed a bug where Ability Bonuses were being rounded to two decimal places, where it should be 3 places like it is in the spreadsheets (thanks, Tuoweit!). FeatList page now shows friendly Feat types in the dropdown, in the title, in the meta information, and in the header.

captain's chain +2

thanks all for the suggestions

it worked when i went to a fighter town with top training and support

but i guess it is still bugged to be able to learn Archer 6 without MAP 2

others have said the same about their toon that the armor 6 is coming before the AP2 and not vice versa

another bug maybe that the training at level 9 cannot support AP2s

Martial: 131

Dexterity: 12.60
Archer Armor: 6

i think in this order i trained in January in Marchmont and Feb/march in Riverbank and ran to Blackwood Glade last night when i heard a fellow University teacher tell a new student that he couldn't train in armor 6 until he had Armor prof in level 2

i said no i don't think that is right because i was able to

and then when i checked sspitfire's spreadsheet it seems the PFU instructor was right yet my toon proves otherwise

in Blackwood Glade both the light and heavy armor profs showed up on trainer at level 1 on available and level 2 in the unavailable tab

Silver Crusade Goblin Squad Member

human toon (i have been informed that i should not have been able to buy Archer Armor 6 without MAP2)

I have purchased Archer 6 armor feat,

I only have Medium Archer Proficiency 1 feat,

Medium armor proficiency 2 does not show up on available/unavailable list in any Skirmisher/Dreadnaught/Fighter College that i have visited

i was also told i should have a bunch of extra reflex defenses that i dont have

all of the above were double and triple checked

it may have been just an unfortunate timing thing when the armor gates were changed to STR/DEX instead of just STR?

Diego, my suggestion would be to try harvesting with a NON-tier 2 gatherer(s)

i don't even know if in theory that "works" but my son's miner6 can vastly outdo my miner8 in iron/coal harvesting on a per time basis, and i THINK we have enough sample size to determine the validity of that. But, who knows, maybe I just gave up too quickly on that experiment

Grip, no jokes about me switching my son's house chores from "mow the lawn" to "forget the lawn, i'll do that, go get 200 coal"

:)

it is what my company had to do for mining as were were getting too much Antimony/Meteoric etc which at the time Jan/Feb wasn't needed

i will check our stores but we are still fledgling enough that we get bought completely out of certain resources at times (would like to get to the point of keeping minimum of 1000 or so of each for emergencies, but not there yet

but trust me Diego, i feel your pain on resource shifts (although i don't mind GW doing that occasionally) and I also feel your pain on certain "hard gets"

TEO Cheatle wrote:

Some of you might not agree with me, and some of you might oppose me heavy handedly on this subject, but the truth of the matter is that a Sandbox is a beautifully fragile miniature ecosystem in which we have to nurture every single little detail to keep balance. For those that follow Yellowstone Nation Park, a perfect example would be when they removed the main predators from the park, the wolves, and over the course of decades it destroyed the park to the brink of not being able to fix the situation. Eventually they brought the wolves back, do you know what happened?

The wolves killed off the deer that were over eating grains/grass that turned the creeks into swamp areas/small rivers, because the root system was being destroyed. As the deer died, the grass grew back, bringing in new and interesting fish, as well as a larger migration of bears. The higher grass with stronger roots brought in rodents, which brought in more birds, which helped to fertilize the over eaten parts of the Park, and so on, and so forth. This analogy is the way I see us, it might not be perfect, but it is very apt. If we removed the predators its bad for our ecosystem, but if there is too much predatory behavior, then the opposite can happen, which I don't think we are anywhere near yet.

as an Ecology teacher IRL, i appreciate the analogies

the best thing about PFO's "ecosystem" is unlike YNP, the predators and prey can actually change roles as the game needs

I can even see temporary good and evil settlements/alliances making short term truces to combat a bigger good or evil

it all should be so interesting

Escalations? Pff, no. Pathfinder has always been a dungeon crawling game, so the dungeons are where the content's at. Control and right to farm of said dungeon will lead to PVP. There's a whole lot missing from the game currently. The burden of content creation is presently on the developers.

Let's not forget that THIS is what we were promised when be backed the Kickstarter:

yes, i traveled to Keeper's Pass on the GW recipe tweets from GW forums and missed out on the deals but found that KP recipes sell at 3x the amount of the equivalent MM recipes

so even if people are resellers they still come in at under most Player settlement AHs at this time

A little side trade in T2 recipes and Expendables has developed ... Dreamless will make a decision whether to get in this business or not depending on how hard it is for non-settled players to find these items ... more to come on this

Thanks for that list, Cal. The mob I just killed was indeed the first High Priest I had seen there. He was red, just like the knights, Adepts and priests, but he did have a bit more hitpoints. Still dead with 3 arrows though(Overdraw, Exploit, Exploit).

So does a T2 mob have to have a special name? Or a certain level? Looking at that list, I am fighting mostly level 4-6 mobs, I think.

Edit: Thanks, Nihimon, that would explain it. The High Priest undoubtedly was level 7 then.

There was still a lot missing. But slowly all the text got rather more complete and in most cases he had now at least half of them.
He even had several spare pieces or duplicates. Maybe he should invite other researchers and collectors to join him in the Emerald Lodge and to exchange knowledge and duplicate pages.
