I would like to see books like ultimate magic and unchained, that consist of good and useful rules, optional rules - ie ones that can't be in core, but none the less ones that are incredibly useful.

I was going to say, CR's for traps and monsters etc, simply does not exist in the playtest. Inside the playtest that system is different and is calculated differently, as is described in the playtest beastiary.

For the use and creation of the alchemists alchemical items, the rulebook emphasises the cost and the creation of those items ready for use. however the quick alchemy action seems to me, yes a useful action, however to me it seems like your creating something out of nothing, you don't need the ingredients for the item you want to create or anything like that. Your creating something out of nothing. Am i hugely missing something. OK, you are spending a resonance point to do it, so there is a penalty, but still it seems strange.

70% of orders to Great Britain are dispersed fairly evenly from August 8 to August 20. 30% are set for September 6 or 7.

Thank you for that Vic :). fancy an abydonian lemon blast? (my most recent in game drink concoction, for the campaign i am running.)

I preordered the playtest softcover on UK amazon on the 10th of march, its shows there in my orders as pre ordered, however when I follow the link to the book in my order or do a search, it seems to no longer exist, does this appear so for anyone else?

Being lvl1 and 3 etc.

Ok, thank you for the advice, :)

OK thank you for the confirmation, I wasn't sure if i was interpreting it correctly. like the above mentioned spell focus at level 3, yes.

so you are referring to table 2-4 on page 26?

Yes, i was familiar with humans getting that extra feat. your answer implies no other races or classes get any feats?, although that's not the case, because on page 120 it says very precisely, spell focus level 3 (You gain Spell Focus as a bonus feat), that doesn't answer the question entirely, but it does say as a single reference that the technomancer does get some kind of feats of some kind.

within the class, race and theme lists i have found no reference to an android technomancer scholar getting any feats, however on page 16 under step 7 it says the following, "Most characters begin play with one feat,", so would i be right in saying that that combination of class, race and theme doesn't get any feats or i have totally missed it?
