Posting an initiative order with the conditions for each PC/enemy would be helpful as I know I didn't realize it was my turn and forgot conditions several times. I know this is my job as player to track but having a reminder at the bottom of every DM post really helps. Thanks for DMing and being open to advice.

Amy, any chance you could make the excel map with square cells, it would make LOS and cover much easier to determine. Below is a link with an easy way of doing it, scroll down to where it says, "Update!! In February 2005", that is the simplest and fastest way. Thanks, not sure if it will work in google docs.

Chris, I would like in if there's still room. I can get a character together quickly, just don't tell my wife I'm in another PBP. I've narrowed my ideas to swordmage, avenger, seeker, ranger, tempest fighter. I have to get into character builder and see what comes out before I make a final decision though.

If I had more time, I wouldn't be as upright. I get almost as much enjoyment out of following the 4e games in the forum as I do participating in them. Good luck to all.
Maybe the villain somehow summons or calls for help to occupy the party as he withdraws and escapes. Possibly reward the party for driving him away or if you go with one of the above magical escape routes, have the villain leave behind a magic item that he drew power from to expedite his departure, kind of a magical component the villain was forced to expend to escape and is now left behind for the party. That way the party feels some satisfaction.

Yes, I have them both created in DDI CB and just need to choose one and repost here. My wife went into labor a few days early of her due date and we just got out of the hospital yesterday. I'll do my best to get it onto Paizo by Sunday. I just need to be hasty about posting as I only have small windows of time while my new little girl sleeps and my wife doesn't have me on a mission. If you want to start the PBP thread, feel free, it will provide motivation to complete character sheets, myself especially.

Rev Rosey, just an update, I'm toying with Invoker or a control oriented Sorcerer. Also, I'm considering Psion or Monk but I still don't completely grasp some of those classes' mechanics yet. I'm building them in the DDI Char. Builder. I'll make my choice tonight and start porting it over to the Paizo then.

Great, I plan on boosting my OA defense as high as possible, daring enemies to hit me while moving (or someone else moving me) back and forth between helping the Fighter and Warlord while also granting them extra attacks, or assisting the non-melee types.

I'm still building my PC using the DDI Char. Builder. I've got a few questions if you all could assist? Is the Shifter race allowed in Ebberon? I also have a few questions about rogue tactics and rules that may affect how I build my rogue. If say, Mountain, our Warforged Fighter friend has marked an enemy and my PC attacks that same enemy then moves away without shifting, opening myself up for an OA, and the enemy makes that OA, does the fighter then get to make a melee basic attack against that enemy for attacking me? (Combat Superiority is the class ability I think?)

Celestial Healer wrote: You are right. An Artificer is a leader. I agree that a melee striker would seem to fit perfectly, although you should play the character you want. (I often do the same thing - wait until the end to see what the party needs, and that can be fun. This time, I had an idea for something I've been wanting to try out, so I jumped in earlier.) Luckily I have yet to play a striker of any sort and seeing as we are starting at level 10, going melee should make the myriad of power selections and decisions slightly easier.
