Shadow Lodge 4/5

Not all success conditions are spelled out to the characters. Convincing the cultists to be allies is an alternate option if defeating/befriending the dragon fails. Clever PCs that think of recruiting allies get a benefit, but it's not the only way to earn both prestige.

I understand it is not the only way but to have it with no hint to even try it does not seem right. I guess it was in the original writing of the scenario but due to other changes didn't appear like the changing of locations on the ship map.

No where in the scenario can I find why the players would seek to convince the cultists from the Cult of the Eye to consider an alliance with the Society or the Concordance of Elements. As this is one of the secondary conditions surely there should be some hint in the scenario. It does not seem to right to penalise the PCs for something they have no idea to do.

Party I ran for this last Saturday was a complete bust. With the negatives only one PC had a positive Diplomacy and with 23DC in the trial they were never going to make it. Really don't like the fact that PP is based on a roll. They had worked really hard to achieve the aim of healing Valais but with such a low charisma party they didn't have a hope in hell of doing it. Felt really bad for them.

It should be a separate .pdf file within the .zip file that you downloaded. It should be named something like PZO9552 Poster Map.

Thank you I have now found it.

I bought my copy as the PDF. Is there any way to get hold of the poster from the module as a PDF as I would quite like to know what the town layout is?

The 3 parts can be played in any order. There is scaling information if playing at level 2. If you are playing all 3 parts how would you scale the encounters for level 3 players?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The Wyrd Sisters are awesome. Not only would some of us not had any food due to time constraints but they also cater for the non standard i.e. vegetarian; can't eat onions and garlic; slimmimg friendly. There is always more than enough food for everyone and they raise a good amount for charity. We are very lucky to have these 2 ladies as Venture Lieutenants and Wyrd Sisters.

That is what I tried but it comes up with the message "The PDF file could not be converted due to internal security preventing content extraction.".

I am having the same problem. I have tried Photoshop, Irfanview and Nitro 3. None of them allow me to get at the map for 6-06 Hall of the Flesh Eaters. Being able to extract and print the unique maps at the correct size I find really useful when GMing as I am a relatively new GM.

I have the same problem. Page 17 blank and a base for the Giant Squid but no Giant Squid. How am I supposed to drag my screaming players into the depths without a Giant Squid?

I am looking to run The Dragon's Demand in PFS mode.

Part 1: The Blood Vow Lair (areas B1–B20) 1–3

Part 2: Hunclay’s Cave, Auction, 3–5 and Crypt of Tula (areas D1–E12)

Part 3: Monastery of Saint Kyerixus (areas F1–G8) 5–7

What sort of runtime should I be looking at for each part?
