Live near Imperial Beach in San Diego CA. Looking for up to three new players to join 3 veterans in a homebrew game I will start dming soon. Most of my other group have become shut in hermits since moving in together but I've got three that are reliable. I'm looking to get three others that can be at the very least once a week reliable and get fresh blood for the blood god. Message me if interested.

Wanting to see what others opinions were and ask out to the general forums, what favorite odd race does everyone here have that they like to play or use. Personally, I love to play odd things and I try often to be that one guy in the party that's the lizardfolk(my favorite) or the gnoll or Hobgoblin or Wyrwood, etc. I love being something unique just because it's different and I get to put a spin on the RP that you can't get with one of the core races. Anybody else?

After reviving my friend's old thread, I decided to start my own. What better thread than to see what moment made different people become hooked to Pathfinder, D&D and other games with dice and homework xD.

Mine was a fairly simple, but brings a smile to my face just thinking about it. We had just survived a fight against a Drow Summoner. Are butts were kicked pretty bad, but we had managed to take her down, steal her magical gauntlet and were to return to base (was part of a helping to defend a city under seige).

Suddenly, her brother shows up, this dual wielding, full armored badass sent to recover her. He offers us a deal, we let him take her, he leaves us alone. We are dying, so most of us are pretty good with that idea. Our wizard jokes OOC: I cast magic missile at her body. He had done this many times to get a reaction from the DM and all of us, by this point our DM had had enough and said it was happening since he was being a jackass. DM allows me to attack and attempt to stop the spell, my Pali swings...Nat 20. Off go the wizards arms(find out later DM would have only allowed the spell to be negated if I rolled the 20), everyone goes home. Wizard wasn't happy but everyone was losing their minds. Ahhhh memories. Who's next?

In the Monster Codex, the Tyrant's Combat tactics and feat list mention using a feat called Cruel Opportunist as one of his ways of dealing damage to the enemy. However the feat is not listen in the Bugbears new feat list nor anywhere else I can find. I would like to use this Tyrant soon but I cant go rushing out if Im not sure what the feat does.

Please help settle an arguement, here is the scenerio

Rogue vs Fighter at 60 ft away in completely empty arena in broad daylight

Fighter moves foward 20 and ends

Rogue throws down a smoke pellet and uses stealth, Fighter fails perception roll.

Fighter moves foward another 20 ft.

Smoke pellet disappates as it has been 1 round.

Is the rogue still stealthed even though his cover is gone and he has not found any new cover since the smoke disappaited

I have not found if it says you lose stealth if you lose cover and I have a player arguing to death that because it doesnt say that, the concealment from the smoke pellet stays in effect and the fighter cant see the rogue still

The rogue does not have hide in plain sight fyi
