Now that the Lulu softcover is available, will there be a discounted link to PDF purchasers like with the previous Basic Paths module? EDIT: Like this?

Question on the print version: are the copies in stock at Paizo identical to those available through RPGNow? I ask because I see that Book 2 is currently unavailable from Paizo, and I'd like to buy the whole set. When I go to RPGNow to order a print-on-demand copy, it gives me a warning upon adding Book 3 that the item is a "Scanned Image print copy" saying:
Quote: "For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey." I'd much rather order everything from Paizo, and I'd like my print copies to be of equal (and high) quality. So, my questions are: 1) Are the Paizo and RPGNow print copies equivalent in terms of print quality? If not, then:

That's weird how they can delineate between books vs. games when it comes to books about a game... In 'Murica, we don't care! (Where's muh KFC bucket?)

Sorry for the "Wize fwom yor grave!" (Altered Beast anyone?) maneuver on this thread, but your comment was incredibly far-sighted!! Given the both versions of the RotR re-releases and the associated pawn sets, minis, item cards, and map folios, all they need to do is make a giant box for it all! Or perhaps a metal-cased book with a latch? ;-)

For more goblin goodness, it probably wouldn't be too hard to run them through the 1st level module "We Be Goblins", and you can download it for free here: http://paizo.com/products/btpy8j5w?Pathfinder-Module-We-Be-GoblinsIt comes with goblin-PC pregens... Yes, your players get to be goblins! (Poog was my favorite!) |
