Paizo services to make a new profile or modify one has been down for me. I looked into the forums and looks like I am not the only one. When it is restored I will attempt to create a character.

That's two! looks to be at lease some interest I will look into converting the dice system into something that can be used on this forum.
So the beginner game is out for L5R and I would like to try it. In some ways it will be very easy on PbP format, but the dice system might be a challenge. I have a campaign I wrote when it was announced last year and I am beginning to play it with my friends now and they love it so figured I could expand my audience.
Interested. Perhaps an Alchemist- Chirurgeon for a bit of healing.

Just got my copy of the 30th anniversary edition. Has the first source book with it. I will reread it soon and be ready to play when you are.
Shadows of the Empire would be my sweet spot, though I dig Thrawn stuff too. Never got into clone wars or rebels so don't know much about that.
I am totally cool with limiting Jedi so long as Sith are equally rare. One of the things I liked about the Edge of the Empire system. Thinking a big dumb frontline fighter is something I never did much of in Star Wars. Something like a Gamorrean bouncer.
