Aye, the moon aura is amazing. At low levels, it is nearly just giving 1 DR to the whole party. Of course, it falls off considerably with more attacks.

Yuld's light changes from a pale blue to a blistering white, peeking into every crevice.

Changing to Star Aura, which gives a +1 to Initiative and Perception to all within 30 feet of Yuld. I guess I really should just have this one on all the time, but I'd rather not be a human glowstick.

"In addition, we have a letter for Morvinaar here. If you could identify the handwriting as Gellion's, it would show some connection between the disappearances and him."

Ouch, we got plagued by some bad rolls this round.

Yuld directs a ball of light from his hand, throwing it at the green ant.

Ranged touch attack to use my Glow ability.

Assuming that hits... The ball connects with the ant, which in turn begins to radiate a similar light. Quickly, Yuld causes the light to grow even brighter free action. The light seems to take physical form as it wraps around the ant similar to a cocoon.

Bound Light ability, which spends a spell point in order to entangle a creature (no save). In addition, the creature must make a Fort save(DC 15) each round or be staggered for that round. It lasts 1 minute/level, but I think the combat should be over by then.

"May the light of the moon protect us all." Yuld states, as a bluish glow begins to spill from his body. In seconds, it covers the area around him, imbuing a sense of energy for all within.

Activating my Moon Astrology Aura as a swift action, which gives a +1 on Fort Saves and +1 temp hp. As long as you stay within 30 feet, you get the benefits. The temp hp also recovers every round, if it wasn't spent the last round.

More than comfortable behind the cover of Onnello and Dac, Yuld decides to fire at the ants with his crossbow.

Move action to draw, standard action attack.

Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1

By the way, Sidhe, True Strike has a range of personal. Unless your class does something to change that, you won't be able to cast it on Dac.

Yuld peers over Sidhe as she attempts to administer some form of aid. "I mean no offense, Sidhe, but you don't seem very good at that. While I don't possess any medical knowledge, a bit of sorcerery always helps."

Yuld kneels down to the man with the cut leg, placing his hand above the wound. A light seems to jump from Yuld's fingers, diving into the cut. Seconds later, the wound heals.

Yuld smiles, moving over to do the same to the other man.

"Not my best work, but a bit of natural healing should help. Now let your worries for them vanish, and we may focus on our task at hand."

Two spell points is kinda pricey, but doing a good is always nice.

Yuld chuckles, elbowing Onnello in the ribs. "Let them have their fun. Just because we're on the job doesn't mean we can't enjoy ourselves."

In the Shop
As the group begins to question the shopkeeper, Yuld finds his attention drawn to the potions. While alchemy never did interest him, it was always a curious sight to see the bottles filled with power of their own.

"This note worries me." Yuld says as he studies the paper. "Someone offered to take Morvinarr to the other apprentices, without Morvinarr telling anyone. No doubt whoever wrote this note is our perpetrator. We should be careful in who we discuss our information with, just in case."

"We could ask someone in what order they disappeared, but that would only tell us when people noticed they were gone, not the actual time. But having some sense of chronology would be convenient for this case. For now, let us head to the next location."

"I am known as Yuld. My interests and skills are the same - the stars. I know a bit of magic, at least enough to perform parlor tricks."

As the group heads to the tavern, Yuld makes a note. "I think it is rather strange." Yuld rubs his temples. "Only the apprentices have gone missing. If it were just insects being the cause, it would likely be more indiscriminate."

The journey to Saringallow took longer than expected, perhaps due to Yuld stopping every night to record the stars. Or maybe it was the frequent breaks to rest his legs. Or it was that he always woke up late, beginning his walk around noon.

Nevertheless, he had arrived. The mayor was a friendly woman, but more importantly she was willing to pay. Four hundred gold pieces in total - if everything went well, of course. It was a good sum, even when split.

When the priest speaks up, Yuld regards the man strangely. More money? Sure, that was fine, but what was this strange respect for the woman beside him? Yuld ponders the name Sidhe Danann, but arrives at nothing. But if she were to revive some goddess (Pharasma, of course! Can't believe I didn't recognize the symbol.) she had to be someone important.

"Miss Trinelli, do you know anything about these apprentices, outside their masters? Has it only been apprentices going missing?"

Yuld's a Hedgewitch from the Spheres of Power system, making him built as a librarian and a bit of a healer mixed in. Also have some small aura buffs mixed in.

If we're using Background skills, likely will grab another Knowledge skill and Craft(Star Chart). Both make sense for Yuld.


Submitting Yuld, a scholar of the stars. A bit of healing and a smidgen of debuffing to fill in a support role.
