I hadn’t played this one in a long long time, and I didn’t even consider bringing the idol back. That one was totally my bad!

Yulau listened to the heated discussion. ”Sorry, but when the idol started whispering evil things and promises to the group, I suggested dumping it in the lava. If you want to blame someone, I first blurted out the idea of destroying it. The lava was right there…”

”We found the idol. It won’t be causing trouble in the future. It was knocked into a pit of lava and melted away.”

”I say you destroy it. Leaving idols to awful evil gods around, especially ones that are invading your mind is a bad idea!”

Yulau fires another bolt of mystic energy from her wand.

Feeling the immense heat, Yulau peeks her head out yet again, this time casting Hideous Laughter on the priestess.

Yulau uses her wand on Jehan.

The sorcerer delays until the others clear her a path. She then peeks through the door and uses her magic missile wand on the human female.

Yulau uses her wand and renews her mage armor. She offers the protection to anyone who can make use of it.

”Lets disable those vents. We don’t need to get burned any further!”

Yulau hands her healing wand to the bard and asks for healing.

”We promise. Tell us about the vents and exactly where she is and we will head right there!”

”Could you tell us who or what your ‘master’ is?”

”We are travelers from the Pathfinder Society sent here to investigate this place. We mean no harm. We aren’t looking for violence. Would you like to be liberated?”

Yulau, extremely frustrated and extremely put out by her teammates lack of effectiveness, grits her teeth and continues using her wand.

”Help! Where in the hells are the rest of you,” the sorcerer calls out after being terrorized by the devil. She takes one more 5’ step to the north and lets loose with another magic missile from her wand.

Yulau takes a 5’ step to the north (if you’d please move me, GM) and fires another shot from the magic missile wand.

Yulau follows suit, using her magic missile wand to tag the dastardly enemy, as she sees it begin to stir.

Yulau keeps delaying, not wanting to wake up the sleeping beast with her magic until the others were prepared.

Yulau pulls out a wand. ”I can blast it with a magic missile once the rest of you are prepared to thrash it!”. She delays to see if the group can make the other side this round.

Yulau follows Jehan, but leaves about 30’ between them this time, just to be safe.

Yulau couldn’t help with working out he puzzle, but she does hand midnight a healing wand to cure her burns.

Yulau shakes her head looking at the weapon pile. ”None for me, thank you very much. If a fight comes down to me using a sword, I’m probably as good as dead anyway!”

As the group enters E4, Yulau scans the items contained herein for any magical auras. Since they were already here, some magic treasure would be a nice little memento of the journey. In E3, she asks the others. ”Does that idol freak anyone else out? Might be nice for someone to break it into little pieces!”

”Thats weird,” Yulau says, shaking her head as she follows Jehan towards the door.

Yulau opens her mouth, ready to tell what she knew, but after The Professor gave a lecture to the class, she stood silent.

Yulau holds the two scrolls tightly in her hands, ready to call upon the magic of either of the situation called for it. She was nearly out of most of her magic after her magic missile barrage from earlier.

Yulau looks at the two unidentified items to see if her innate ability could help her identify them.

”I say we go identify the throne room first, if we can get in there…”

Assuming Yulau could see any portion of the evil caster, Yulau looses a pair of magic missiles.

Yulau delays, ready to magic missile any unknown threat that presents itself to the group.

”Does anyone see anything? I know I heard footsteps up the stairs!”

Yulau pulls out her wand as well and applies Endure Elements to herself and any other group members who wanted a charge.

”Im no help with traps, unfortunately. I’d hate to have made it all this way and not make it into the fortress!”

Yulau produced another wand from her belt and held it out for the still smoking warrior. ”Its tricky. Sometimes this wand doesn’t want to activate,” she mutters as she tries to heal him.

Of course the wand didn’t activate, so she banged it on her knee and blew the dust off of it and tried again.

Yulau scans the horizon and the desert surrounding the group, looking for anything else out of the ordinary. ”Is everyone sort of okay,” she asks.

Yulau hated to use so much magic, but she hates her team being set on fire even more. She throws a magic missile at the remaining elemental.

Yulau tries to take down the elemental she originally injured with the sorcerer’s greatest friend…magic missile!

Magic missile 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (3, 4) + 2 = 9

Yulau waits for the others to take defensible positions, not wanting to run forward of the group and expose herself. Assuming that happens, she will move and fire a magic missile at the southernmost elemental.

If the others move ahead, she will follow and cast. If not, she will delay.

All Yulau could think of was how to get the sun out of her eyes as she was walking through the hazy area.

As the group begin to make their entry into the Valley, Yulau pulls yet another wand from her belt, activating it, and a bright blue light shimmers over her ever so shortly before dissipating. She tucks the wand back into its position.

Used one charge of Mage Armor wand.

Looks like Midnight has a +8 Perception score.

Yulau smiles at the others in introduction.

As the group stared at the up and down climb ahead of them, the mage asks of the group, ”Anyone an experienced climber? Last thing I want to see is one of us tumbling down those slopes! I have some magic for myself to help, but it doesn’t effect others.”

At hearing the mission, Yulau walked to the place to acquire provisions. She counted out 8 gold pieces as she purchased a hot weather outfit, including a turban to shield her from the hellish heat.

She was a slightly peculiar with jet black hair, no armor, and just a dagger at her side. She didn’t speak much on the trip, keeping to herself for the most part.

She did point out an ebony wand that she carried. ”If the heat is too much, I can use this wand to help us deal with it. It helps us to Endure Elements.”

I could always buy a wand of summon monster I to check for Pit traps at least or to help support a front liner.
