My July subscription order 7961754 still shows pending "due to back ordered items." What item(s) are holding up the order? Each item's store page shows that it is available now.

Grand Lodge

Dear Paizo Customer Service:

My subscription order 7961754 is still pending and under my Order History it says that there are back-ordered item(s). Is that true or is my order still just sitting at the end of the shipping queue?

If there are back-ordered item(s) and they are not AP#144 itself, please put the back-ordered items back into my side cart and ship the rest.

Thanks,

Andy

Dear Paizo Customer Service:

I received my Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscription Cancellation Notice and subscription Order 7961754 emails.

I had asked that my subscription be cancelled before AP #145, which I do not want. This order, however, contains AP #145. Please remove it from this order.

Thanks,

Andy

Please cancel my Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription after the last 1st Edition issue (Tyrant's Grasp 6 of 6, Midwives to Death, #144) has been shipped to me.

Dear Paizo Customer Service,

recently a PFS regular campaign session was mistakenly recorded to my PFS core campaign character 19641-13 (Erwyn Lightfoot), making it now a regular campaign character.

The GM who originally recorded the session has since moved it to the correct character number for me. Removing this session from character 19641-13 did not change it back to being a core character, however.

Is this something that you can fix for me?

All of the paper chronicles earned for 19641-13 are from GMing and playing in the core campaign and I would like to keep this character as core if possible.

Thanks,

Andy

I have questions on Abbashin's bidding behavior during the auction (assuming that he does not leave prior to it starting).

The scenario implies that he is really interested in the golden statue of RA, but is also interested in bidding on two earlier items in the auction order. Wouldn't he have maximum amounts less than his entire 10,000 gp in starting funds that he would be willing to bid on the two other items so as to save at least 5,000 gp to be able to make the starting bid on the statue?

The scenario does not indicate any maximum bids or bidding limits for an item other than a bidder's total remaining funds. As GM, can I put limits on Abbashin's bidding on the first two items in order for him to save funds for the third?

Dear Paizo Customer Service:

I ordered two (2) Dork20 Decks on clearance under Order 7464109 and had them put in my side cart.

This month's subscription Order 7550860 shows that I'm being charged for both decks along with AP #137.

However, the shipment email that I just received for Order 7550860 says that only one Dork20 Deck will be included in a shipment of 2 items, including AP #137. Can you check on this? Why wouldn't the second deck be included in the shipment? If this item has now become out of stock then please cancel the second deck and don't charge me for it.

Thank you,

Andy Collins

I'd love to play in a 1e or 2e AD&D adventure/campaign. Would this be a Play-by-post game or a live online voice chat game?

Note...Amazon seems to only have a Hardback and paperback copy...they do not have the deluxe version available. That probably is only going to be available from Paizo itself.

Amazon has the deluxe hardcover version listed as a separate item:

Dear Paizo Customer Service,

There are two items that have been sitting in my sidecart for several months. They are shown as available on their product pages but apparently are either no longer available from the publisher or are backordered.

Please remove these two items from my sidecart.

Thank you,

I have not received notification of my August AP subscription order shipment.

Please move any item(s) holding up shipment back to my side cart so AP #109 can go out.

Can customer service check on my pending subscription order #3980187? It looks like one or more items in the order may be (temporarily?) out of stock and are holding up shipment.

Please move any out of stock items back to my side cart so the rest of the order can ship.

Is this still available? :)

No, unfortunately we weren't able to restart with a new group and I stopped trying to recruit for the game.

I'd still like to get something going, but Saturday mornings CDT doesn't appear to be a very popular time slot.

Hi, Stormcrow.

I'm looking for 1 or 2 more players for an online (D20PRO/Skype) Saturday Pathfinder campaign.

I've sent you a PM about it.

Yorgi (Andy)

Are you willing to try playing online using D20PRO (a free VTT program) and Skype? I sent you a PM.

We held our second introductory session earlier today. We would like to start our "real" campaign on May 7th if we can recruit at least one more player.

If you are interested in joining our campaign or would like more info, please PM me.

WM is playing a Winter Witch. What is everyone else thinking of playing?

Grand Lodge

We're still looking for one or two more players for our online Saturday campaign.

Our second introductory session is scheduled for Saturday, 4/16. We won't start the actual campaign until we have at least four solid players.

If you are interested in joining us or would like more info, please PM me your email address and Skype handle.

The following post on the campaign's discussion thread gives some info on the campaign:

Do you need a copy of the sheet, or some kind of description, or anything else for my character?

Yes, please email me a copy of your PC's character sheet. Consider it preliminary at this point since the other players haven't indicated what they are planning to play yet. You can continue to tweak your PC until we get close to starting the first campaign session. I'll set a deadline for final submissions once we've scheduled a date for the first session.

For the Witch, it looks like the number of spells I know is ambiguous, in that there isn't a defined "spells known", so theoretically, I know all the spells on the list, it just depends on which ones I choose to prepare. Is this right?

Yes, a witch knows all of the spells on the witch spell list.

Are we allowed non standard races? In particular, catfolk?

Allowed races are listed in the General Character Creation Requirements document that I emailed to the group:

"All core rulebook races are allowed. Additionally, the following bestiary races (without racial hit dice) are allowed: Aasimar and Tiefling."

Anyway, as far as my character goes, I'm looking at two different approaches, depending on how long we plan on using these characters...

My intent with this group is to develop a continuing campaign with developing characters, but as with most online games it is hard to predict how long such a campaign will last. It is also difficult to foresee long-term character (and for that matter, player) continuity.

So, my advice is to take a combined (or balanced) approach toward your character: as we're starting out don't worry too much about higher level planning/development/detailed backstory, but also avoid the mindset that you are simply creating a "throw-away" PC.

Welp, just read through almost every post on here, then realized it was from last year. Awesome...

Sorry, WM. The earlier posts were discussions for my previous Curse of the Crimson Throne campaign, which recently ended.

Grand Lodge

I've picked the starting adventure for our new online Pathfinder campaign. I will create a PC/party-specific hook once I know something about your characters.

For the starting adventure your party will be arriving in a rural hamlet that is composed of two separate and distinct communities: one of nature-loving humans, and the other a clan of hardy folk (mostly dwarves).

The humans practice a faith called "The Tranquility of Still." They abhor change and revere a circle of old standing stones placed upon a large grassy knoll at one end of the hamlet.

The dwarves live in an underground area with entrances built into a large craggy outcropping of rock on the other end of the hamlet. The dwarves work in a nearby silver mine.

You have come here to investigate recent disappearances, weird events and reports of monsters in the area--happenings that are straining relations between the two communities and have caused the mine to be temporarily shut down.

Your PCs will face various low-level monsters including assorted animals, vermin, undead and outsiders.

Grand Lodge

We've got three players and could use at least one more!

Grand Lodge

We still need two players for Saturday's "We Be Goblins Underground!" game.

If interested, go to Warhorn and sign up as a player.

In order to help spur general interest and to allow potential players to get a feel for how I run games, I'm planning to run a "get to know you" session next Saturday, April 2nd, from noon to 4 PM US Central time (CDT) if at least three players sign up.

I've written my own dungeon-based adventure as a continuation of the Paizo Free RPG Day "We Be Goblins" modules. My adventure is entitled "We Be Goblins Underground!" and uses the same four Level 4 Goblin pregens found in the free "We Be Goblins Free!" module.

If interested in attending this session, here's what you need to do to sign up:

1. Go to www.warhorn.net and create a free account if you don't already have one.

2. Register for my private "Wanderers of Golarion Game Day" recurring online event on Warhorn (you only need to do this once):

https://www.warhorn.net/events/wog-game-day

3. Click the "Event schedule" link on the left side of the page, move to the April calendar, click on the "We Be Goblins Underground!" session link shown for Saturday, April 2nd, and sign up as a player. Here's the direct link to the session:

https://www.warhorn.net/events/wog-game-day/schedule/2016/04/02/sessions/11 6589 [<= no space in the session number]

We can run with up to six players and we'll have a draft at the start of the session to allocate who plays which pregen (if necessary).

To prepare to play online, here's what you need to do:

1. Install Skype and create an account if you don't already have one. Since we play via voice you will need to have a microphone. PM me your email address and Skype handle.

2. Make sure you have the latest Java installed on your computer.

3. Go to http://d20pro.com/getd20pro/ and download and install v3.5.7 of D20PRO. You don't need to purchase a license since I have licensed slots for six guest players.

Shortly prior to the session start time, I will let the players know my IP address so they can connect their D20PRO (running in player mode) to my D20PRO (running in judge mode). Then I'll start the group Skype call.

Post in this thread or PM me if you have questions or need help with Warhorn or D20PRO.

"We Be Goblins—Underground we go!"

WM, I received your PM with your email address. Thanks!

What kind of Pathfinder adventures interest you? I'm leery of starting an AP-based campaign again as online players tend to come and go. So, I'm thinking more along the lines of a homebrewed campaign made up of loosely-connected modules. Does something like that appeal to you?

Andy

As an update to this thread, the Curse of the Crimson Throne campaign that I was running has ended.

I am willing to start a new online Saturday d20Pro/Skype game if there are enough interested and available players.

Please reply in this thread if you would be interested in possibly joining a new online Saturday group.

Thanks,

Our group could use another player or two to replace others who have left the campaign. We are close to finishing Chapter 1 of the Curse of the Crimson Throne AP and the PCs are now Level 3. Our next session is scheduled for Saturday, 3/26, from noon to 4 PM CDT.

The current party consists of the following characters:

female human oracle
male human mesmerist/sorcerer
male half-elf druid (bear shaman)/barbarian
male human fighter (GMPC)

We play online using Skype and D20PRO.

If you would like more information regarding this campaign and/or are interested in joining please reply in this thread or send me a private message (PM).

In preparation for my February subscription order, can you determine if the Goodman Games "GM Gems" hardcover book is currently/will be in stock and will not hold up my order again (for like the 3rd month in a row)?

Yes, but it is most likely to be used for healing out of combat unless the wielder wants to risk getting close to the front line to touch a wounded comrade.

I received the authorization email for Order 3735174 on 12/4. I have not received a shipment email. Can you see what is holding up the order? I notice that GM Gems is now back to "preorder." If that item is holding up the shipment then please put it back in my side cart.

Cosmic Cowboy mentioned possibly playing a fighter/rogue in his recruitment PM to me, but he also said he would be willing to play something else if needed for the party.

As a battle host can I use any material I want to for my relic?

No, as the cost of some special materials is quite high and that would not be fair to the other players. If you have a specific material in mind tell me and I'll decide if you can have it. If it's a skymetal (e.g., adamantine, mithral, noqual, etc.) then no. If you want cold iron or silver, that's OK.

Just out of curiosity... Why 15 points rather than 20?
I was wondering this myself, and did some research on it. Apparently, the Adventure Paths are written with the intent of a 4-player 15 point build parties. I personally dislike it, I feel like 15 points is kinda underpowered for my own tastes, but it's up to the DM.

Yes, APs are designed for 4-player, 15 point build parties. So, with 5 players you should be good and I shouldn't have to make any significant adjustments to encounters (other than using the Pathfinder-converted monsters and NPCs).
