Hi, Due to the delay in Guns & Gears to November, I would like you to cancel all my subscriptions, that being: -Pathfinder Adventure
I should be resuming my subscription by December to ship everything with Lost Omens: Monsters of Myth. Humbly,
P.D.: I would really love an option for ¨hold shipping until X amount¨ as it would really simplify handling my subscriptions. Thanks.
Dear Paizo Customer Service Team, I would like to kindly ask for my copy of SoM, LO: Mwangi Expanse, and Malevolence to be shipped as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance,
Hi, When should I subscribe the Losst Omens line and Rulebook line to receive The Mwagni Expanse, The Grand Bazaar, and Secrets of Magic in a single shipping? Additionally, is there any option to hold my shippins until the amount of 100.00 USD is reached? Shipping to Peru is kinda expensive and has extra hurdles for imports with a FOB over 200 USD. Thanks in advance,
Hi, I've been GMing a modified version of Troubles in Otari (no spoilers) and came across the Yellow Musk Creeper. While a cursory glance makes it look like a standard zombie maker monster, reading the description of the thralls makes you realize that the thralls might still be alive! This means that if the PCs want to save the thrall they would be striking with a -2 for non-lethal; would have to perfom a DC 22 medicine 1 hour surgery for each thrall; possibly have to complete all the surgeries in less than 24 if they killed the creeper; and, just to spice things up, the thralls have the following ability: Limb Extension Free Action Trigger The yellow musk thrall is reduced to 4 HP or fewer; Effect Creeper tendrils tear through the thrall's limbs, causing its forearms to tear loose. The thrall's melee reach increases by 5 feet. So, despite the PCs best efforts, the survivors may end up maimed for live, partly because of the actions PCs took to save them. Have you found a similar cruel monster? Humbly,
While it is tempting to calculate the weight of a gold coin and use the current value of gold, this asumes the supply and demand of gold are similar. As an utterly pointless thought experiment, I am going to take a look at the purchasing the "real" power of gold in Golarion. Usually, IRL, when comparing incomes in different countries you use the Big Mac index, divide the number by the local price of a Big Mac and multiply it by the price of a USA Big Mac to obtain the value at purchasing-power parity (PPP). Example:
the minimum wage in Peru is S/. 1373.58 gross for a month (basic basket is S/. 1370), a Big Mac is S/. 11.90 and $ 5.66 in the USA, so $ 653.92 at purchasing-power parity and $ 379.44 at current exchange rate (3.62 PEN/USD). For comparison, the NYC's basic basket in 2016 was USD 602.00, or about USD 648.89 in 2020 dollars. Sadly, there are no McDonalds' I know of in Golarion so I would have to do this backwards. For the basic basket, I would use the cost of the comfortable standard of living, that's 52 gp per year (CRB pg. 294). Comparing NYC to Absalom, we get that $ 648.89 x 12 = 52 gp or 1 gp = $ 149.74. So in conclusion, if there was a McDonald's in Absalom, a Big Mac would be about 4 cp (3.77 cp rounded up). Humbly,
Hi, Please add the Ancestry Guide to my Sidecart. For context, I subscribed to the Lost Omens and rulebook line after the following conversation: Sam Phelan wrote:

If I subscribe to the Lost Omens line after the authorization date (say on the 5th), will my order carry to next authorization date? For example, if I were to subscribe on the 5th to the Lost Omens, starting with the Pathfinder Society Guide, and Rulebook line, would my ship with the Bestiary 3? Humbly,
Please, cancel my subscription and empty my sidecart. For reference, my pending orders are: - Order 25791576
I would really like prefer buying from you than from Amazon due to the better condition in which the shipments arrive, but the delays are a big turn off for me. Humbly,
Usually, bonus XP could be granted for good or fun roleplaying and good off-game behavior. However, Pathfinder 2E doesn't lend itself to mismatched leveled parties. What I am planning on implementing is a system in which players choose a Motivation and, optionally, a Flaw. Whenever, they roleplay their motivation or they can gain an additional Hero point and a "Boon Mark". Basically, I am adapting HEX Motivation and flaw system into Pathfinder 2E. Boon Marks can be traded for feats you qualify in the following tentative scale:
PEACH,
I notice that the Black Friday discounts are already effective in the store
Thanks in advance,
Please, cancel my subscriptions for following lines: Pathfinder Lost Omens
I was hoping to compare shipping quality with Amazon, but my previous order most likely won't arrive before next shipping for Lost Omens. In any case, I will probably resume the subscription once there is enough to qualify for first 10 USD off discount. Yawar
When trying to access the Chessex Mats page through Gaming Mats page I get dead link. Additionally, Chessex mats don't appear to be listed on the store anymore. However, the Chessex dice continue to be listed. Humbly,
Hi, I am new to subscriptions at Paizo and I am sorry to clog customer service with what might be a silly question. I just subscribed to the Lost Omens and Rulebook product lines on Monday the 27th and noticed that while the APG was added to My Downloads on Thursday the 30th the Lost Omens: Legends wasn't. Both products appear on my Sidecart and I haven't received any e-mails. Also, on the July 2020 New Releases and Subscription Shipping thread: Sara Marie on Thursday, 01:58 am wrote:

Hi folks, This is a Just for Fun thread about the rules for firearms that might be included in the not really upcoming Ultimate Combat 2E. I've come with some ideas and I would love to read yours.
About Firearms and Touch AC
About other Quirks in Firearms
Humbly,
So reading the rules seem to suggest that if you want an item an item bonus to AC (and those sweet runes) you must wear enchanted adventurer's clothing or bracers. Both impose a Max bonus to AC of +5. This isn't really an issue until you get your apex item and/or reach level 20, in which case you can get up to +7 DEX. At this point a fighter archer might as well be wearing heavy armor to enjoy armor specialization and have an extra point of AC. Am I missing something? Humbly,
The document is generally great, but here are a few concerns:

Hi, my is starting an Anthro Steampunk Pathfinder Campaing this friday. So far, I only know there is gonig to be an alchemist bearman and a wizard maybe. The GM said we can pick any race an upgrade them until the are 15 points worth, also we got 15 points for stats. The setting is 17th cetury england so guns are commonplace. I want to play a introvert victorian sir and I need some help with number crunching. So far I've come up with: Engineer Joseph Smith:
Vanara Pistolero N LVL1
7 ponts worth traits:
Stats: STR 7
Skills:
Feats: Point Blank Shot Traits: Rich Parents, Ancestral Weapon (a revolver)
Thanks in advance,
There are many complaints complaints with the system as is: - Monk doesn't live up to their advertised flavor.
Many of this problems where inhereted from 3.5 and where kept because there wasn't a reasonable way of fixing them without violating the backward compatibility directive, others where created due to rules change (Combat Expertise and CMB). There are many posible solution to this issues, some better than others and some requires more rewriting of the rules. I am compiling some suggestions over the boards and classifying them among rule addition/new options (like the monk combat styles), soft retcons (changes like the paladin smite evil) or mayor rule changes that are more in line with an edition change (like the changes to stealth). I don't necesarilly agree with all propossed changes. Combat Expertise and CMB:
-Soft retcon: add "this penalty doesn´t apply to CMB", now the feat actually has sinergy with Improved Trip (I trip you and then the penalty is mitigated by the +4 to hit)
-PF 1.5: you add the AC bonus to to either to-hit or AC, limit INT bonus, doesn´t apply when using Power Attack, now it has more synergy with manuevers and arguably matches the fluff better. Dex to damage:
-Rule addition: add Greater Weapon Finesse, finesseable weapons use DEX instead of damage, this reduce system mastery required to be an effective finesse character the 7 levels wait to be effective.
-PF 1.5 or 2.0: Weapon Finesse effect is automatic for all finessable weapons, Weapon finesse feat acts as Greater Weapon Finesse(above), may be to much but STR fighters still has bigger dice and better AC because heavy armor being better until very high levels. Vital Strike:
-Soft retcon: make self upgrading and work with single attacks like charges or cleave, getting rid of the upgraded version, may be to good for big monster like dragons Big Six:
-Soft retcon: add rule big six doesn't count for the 50% extra cost of adding multiple abilities. Still mantains the problems of cool items being discarded further enhancing owned items, but can be fixed by adding Cloack of the Mountebank and Protection +3
-PF 2.0: Incorparate bounded accuarccy to reduce the need and existance of numeric bonuses items. Weapon Focus/Specialization:
Soft retcon: Weapon Focus applies to weapon groups, rather than specific weapons, gives greater versatility to characters. Or allow retraining 1 feat per level. This applies can be a bit hard to incorporate in feats like expanded aracana for wizard. Skill ranks and flat DCs:
PF 2.0: incorporated boundead accuarcy.
Note: D&D 4.0, incorporated a system in wich DCs scale with the character level, swinging in a chandelier to kick an oger was always DC 15+level, that make me cringe Humbly,
Mine: Irrelevant Skulls & Shackles, but spoilered anyway:
The very beggining of AP, the PCs were unarmed except for teifling monk, when Master Scourge, called Flippy from now on, and 6 pirates levels 4 and 2. You are not supose to fight them so the next part is unlikely and unspoilered The unarmed catfolk barbarian decides to throws some halfling lady at Flippy, succeeding at the apropiate checks he hits Flippy with the halfling lady and deals 5 points of damage to both. The next of the battle goes on the monk shining until being caught in the area of the grease spell of the sorecerer and falling prone, the inquisitor and sorcerer taking a few of Flippy's cronnies with their cantrips the barabarian taking down flippy with disarmed sap before being overpowered by the final mook. It was the first time I've heard that the heroes literaly weaponize civilians. SO, what's yours? Humbly,
Ranged DPS: someone that deals damage in a consistent manner outside of melle range, or as I like to say, outside the Horrible *not fun* Radius (Glass Cannon). Not really at what full spell casters in Pathfinder excel, but it can be done with moderate success if the character specialices enough. God: someone who can reshape reality; or in the 3ed-editionesque case, someone who reshapes reality to make the fight easier for his team through battlefield control, debuffing and buffing regardless of its actual power level. I bring this question because I feel that this diference influences heavily in the fluff of Pathfinder. This is one of the things that makes D&D/Pathfinder unique. I admit it would be cool to for sorcerer/wizards to be able to blast, but I feel battlefield control and debuffing is what makes full spellcasters, specially sorcerer/wizards, scary. That being said it would be a problem to manage if you introduce PvP. Humbly,
I felt that the blog post kinda implies that the Pathfinder Online is going to draw from the lore, classes, monsters, factions, NPC, mythos, etc. of Golarion, but not exactly from the rules themselves. I know that it wouldn't be feasible to have a MMO with the ruleset of Pathfinder RPG and the conversions needed will would be drastic. But, why is it Pathfinder Online when it isn´t really Pathfinder RPG and it more closely Golarion Online? Humbly,
Hello everypony, as you may remember in march 28 the first drafts or Ponyfinder were released, sadly that project was abandoned or a somewhat outtimed April's Fool. Now, I propose using this beta to clear things a little bit and present playable races. Humbly,
PSD: remember to post the races in the sample race thread to, thank you. *brohoof*
Four-leged gives:
But a bigger ofender is Hooved, wich, for one easy payment of 1 RP, takes away your ability to wear boots and gives you the abilty to wear horseshoes. This is penalizing something for a fluff choice thats already penalty. Humbly,
I'm propossing a couple of feats for the swashbuckler type: Insightful Strike:
Rrerequisites: Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus with a weapon two wich you can apply the Weapon Finesse feat.
Benefit: While wielding a weapon with wich you have weapon focus in one hand and applying weapon finesse to it you add your intellingence modifier to the damage rolls as a precision base damage. Special: you cannot use this feat while carrying a shield or attacking with more multiple weapons or natural attacks. Blade Bravado:
Rrerequisites: Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus with a weapon two wich you can apply the Weapon Finesse feat.
Benefit: if you make a melee attack with weapon with wich you have weapon focus feat with one hand and applying weapon finesse to it you add your charisma modifier to your AC and CMD for one round. Special: you cannot use this feat while carrying a shield or attacking with more multiple weapons or natural attacks. You see, I feel the one handed witty and dashing swordman is kind of not properly represented, being completly underpowered in comparison with the other options in the current system. My intent is to make allocating those stat points in charisma and intelligence worthwhile, making those roleplaying decisions something that wont cripple your character into ssomething that can't contribute to combat without dying. Humbly,
PSD: I was disapointed by the Aldori Duelist archetype and firmly believe that swashbuckling options should be aviable to rouges, bards and fighters alike.
My party was in a town that was being raided by goblins, we finished a few, and heard screams comomming from the plaza. In our way there we where ambush in an alley between to houses by 6 goblins in rooftop's, the DM tolds that the goblins had cover. I asked that the GM what the rooftops where made of and he told me that they where made of straw, so I proceed to cast spark on a rooftop. One goblin died from the D6 of fire damage and the other 2 at his side jumped from rooftop to avoid the expanding fire, failed their acrobatics and died from the falling damage. Second, round I did the same but this time my companions where waiting the goblins on the floor and finish them with attacks of oportunity before they touched the ground. I think my GM wants to nerf the cantrip. Humbly,
Hi everybody: Forward thanks for your collaboration, this is the escenario. I've being running a campaing for 5 PCs and 2 two of them quit because schedule complications and I am DMPCing their character until they can and want to return. Then party has recently been updated to the APG and I allow them to use hero points. My questionis, should agrant the DMPCs a hero points, restricting them to level up and arc completion points, grant them a bonus feat or neither? Humbly,
The comments about the Spell Combat penalties being to harsh. So I came up with this idea. Rather than the penalty being flat make it dependant of the being spell cast. I would -1 to concentration checks and attack rolls per spell level and a flat dedrease in this penalties as the Magus gains levels. This way the Magus faces a choice between going fullpower and being more relaible. Humbly,
Hi, watching Ravingdork's Doctor Doom thread remembering an old thread for the wizards' forum I decided to apply it to Pathfinder RPG. This is the challenge, pick your favorite historical, mythical, literary, comic book manga, cartoon, etc., character and make into a PFRPG PC or NPC. The purpose of this is to give both players and GMs a tool to develop more enjoyable PCs, NPCs and encounters and to have fun. For this I'll ask you to take some guidelines into consideration:
Humbly,
Note: this is essentially an advice thread, so please do not move it to conversion.
When the APG was in development Paizo staff anounced that the Archmage was going to be break down in feats, because the Archmage as a class was, essentially, the wizard but more and that was against Paizo's directive for Pathfinder. Needless to say, I agreed with that exposition and was excited about newcoming APG. When I finally got to check out the ¨High Arcana¨ feats I stumble upon Metamagic feats. The whole point that made the Archmage great was its ability to apply ¨metamagic¨ on the fly without increasing the spell level, all of this at a price. Evenmore they nerfed the most most underwhelming Archie's features, I am talking about Arcane Fire. Don't get me wrong. The APG is an enjoyable, extraodinary, remarkable publication, a must have for every Pathfinder fan, but I feel that the work done with Archie feats was cheap. Humbly,
This is the scenario: Campaing resume:
A small Orc-Hobgoblin Coalition led by the demon-possed Moxel-Pixel is trying to retake the lands of which once was their great empire in the Time of Darkness. They first, with the of the mad orc cleric Hursk, develop a plague and spread it in a little mining town. The PCs put an end to this, but not before the town lost whatever military forces they had. Thinking that the Hursk was working alone, the PCs left to nearby city, Markdelia. The town was razed shortly thereafter. The coallition has been cutting the suplies lines to Markdelia via hit and run tactics. And causing great misdirection and concealing themselves long enough, has been fooling the authorities about their numbers and ubication through illusion and the help of infiltrated members of the theives guild, the Red Hand, to wich they food for them to resell and acheive mutaul profit. In the mean time the coalition was able to recover the body of Hursk who has returned as ¨something else¨ and with his plague now perfected, PLAGUE ZOMBIE VIRUS. Exploiting their deal with the Red Hand they have start delivering infected food. During this time PCs leave the city to perform a task for noble man and to escape from the murder attempts from the Red Hand. Now the PCs returned 20 days later, not 28, to find the city razed and inhabitated (the noble district being the most fortified was able to hold, but is under siege, but the PCs don't know this yet). The PC walked through the now deserted city to found themsleves surounded by the zombies at nightfall.
They are five, maybe six, 7th level PCs:
Could anyone, please, lend me some advise? Humbly,
Edit: I don't want them to, neither hope they, battle the overwhelming hordes of zombies. I want them to escape Maybe with a match with Hursk, no sure what king of undead, and his ¨elite¨ zombies or something. The PCs bypassing the siege to the noble district would be great,
Last day while surfing TV Tropes I stumbled across an entry for Pathfinder RPG and, to my surprise, it was more detailed than the Wikipedia one and reallyawake my interest for Campaing Setting. Humbly,
PSD: I don't think James Jacobs will apreciate it.
I was making numbers and realize that from the icmoics there were: - 0 Half-Elves
Am I the only one seeing a pattern here? Is this coincidence? I don't think so. We have a bestiary that counts sentinent proud people as monsters. How much are we going to let this regal beings be shuned by the people in Paizo? My demands are simple, fairness and equallity among the sentient creatures of galarion and no less than 8 new Kobold iconics. Meet my demands or be prepared to find your offices, houses, cars and/or cofees trapped. Angrily,
With the as writen wouldn't the alchemist be to 'Vital Strike' and 'Improved Vital Strike' his Bombs? Personally, I dont't see much problem since it would top at level 19 with 30d6 per round (105 on average), wich is kinda weak compared to what an archer can do now, even considering it is touch attack. Actually I am in favor to this since having a blaster that does reliably crappy damage and got minor self buffs kills me. I liked the fluff of the 3.5 warlock, but got desapointed when I noticed it couldn't add to much to the combat as a straight class. Humbly,
Hi: I am DMing a group of new players wich have a tendency for hack&slashing. They manage to ignore all the hints of the small Hobgoblin-Orc coallition that has being forming nearby the city andlast sesion manged to get captured by said coallition. The only, game-wise, reason I could came up for them not being excecuted inmediaely is that the hobgoblins want to torture them for desacrating their sacred burial ground. I am really doubtful about their ability to escape by theirselves. There is a new player that will be joining this session, wich is more experienced, he could saved them, not chosen class yet, but I don't want the player's to feel like the new guy is star so I am going to make him start captured. There's a kobold sorcerer and a small warband wich they faced earlier who has in his best interest the destruction of this coallition, they were reasponsible for the deaths of said kobold's mate and eldest son, but has a grudge against the party. I think I am gonna use it to save the PCs if they can't came up with something. Comments please. Yawar |
