I am too. I've been pretty sick but am recovering. I'll pick up my posting pace as I get better.

Xond takes the 16 cr/week room.

Xond scratches his chin. "Does anyone know where the Level 21 Crew or the Downside Kings' hideouts are? 'Cause we're gonna need to know that before we can ... "negotiate" with them, Whatever that happens to mean." He thinks for a second before he has a lightbulb moment and snaps his fingers, "Anyone is free to join me, but I'll go and cruise the bars tonight and see if I can find their bases with a little charm He flashes his "Dashing Smile"tm and a few free drinks."

The idea is to find people who might know about the gangs and soften them up with a few drinks so that they'll answer questions.
I was thinking something like, a perception check to listen and look for people and diplomacy to get the info.

What time of day is it? I've kinda lost track and several of my ideas (both current and future) depend on it. :D

"I came too far to turn around and head back to Castrovel after walkin' through the door. Xond stretches his shoulders with a few cracks. I'm all in."

Xond cringes from the sudden turn of mood.

As Xond and the others enter the waiting room, he says "That probably could have used a little more ... tact."

Xond salutes Chickisk, "Hey. We hate to be bearers of bad news but Kreel was killed in a firefight with two gangs not long after we arrived at the Station."

Xond takes a moment, "We're sorry for your loss."

Xond smiles, a little bashfully at Breaker, "I guess I did miss it, sorry."

Upon reaching the Lorespire Complex, Zonds eyes slowly scan up the building. "Wow... That's one nice building."

"I got the letter right here." He says calmly. Xond reaches into a pocket when his face sinks and a worried grin crosses his face. "One moment..." Xond quickly, and more than a little frantic, searches through every pocket in his pants, coat, and remaining clothes.

"AH HA!" He pulls out a quite wrinkled up letter. His face drops. "Oh crap." Xond does his best to straighten the page out and holds it up to the camera followed by complying with the retina scan.

Shaking his head at Kasha's dramatics with a smirk and light sigh, Xond flashes his best smile at "Breaker". "I'm Xond, traveling sword-arm for hire. And who are you, my new magical friend?"

"Tally Hoe!" Xond shouts and points off in the direction he starts walking.

We can always go find the answers if we don't get them. The sooner we get to the Lorespire Complex the sooner we can hit the bricks." Xond stretches his shoulders and back with an assortment of groans.

A big smile crosses Xond's face, "Drifter's End sounds like a great place to dig for info about those gangs."

As the last thug falls or runs away, the golden glow suffusing Xond fades. [ooc]Unattuned as combat ends.[/b]

Xond sheaths his sword and deactivates his solar armor as he walks over towards the others. "As long as we stay calm and are truthful security shouldn't give us too much trouble. Xond chuckles, "Maybe if we're lucky they'll let us keep some of these thugs' stuff." He muses lightheartedly.

Xond smiles and looks down at the body at his feet. "Who's the runt now?!"

As the last thug's shot rings out he flinches. "Sweet!
One more dance partner!" He dashes around the baggage cart and up into the thug's face.

"Pookaboo!" Xond swings his sword at the thug in a wide arc.

"Hey! He's mine!"

Xond's eyes and accompanying corona glow brighter. Photon attunement increases by 1 and reaches full attunement.

Xond steps up and takes a swing with his sword. "You ain't gettin' away that easy!"

Move action: move up 5 ft.
Standard action: Attack on DK3(?).
Lonsword Atk: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13Dmg (If needed): 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

I can hear them, as well and had a similar experience to Blacklock.

The golden glow in Xond's eyes intensifies. Photon attunement increases by 1.

Nows my chance! "Ignite, Sol!" The golden orb floating around Xon's head erupts into a swirling golden corona that fills the air around him. Move action to activate Solar Armor.

"You're luck has run out!" Arcing his sword towards the thug Lonsword ATK: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 the blade once again misses widely. Xond chuckles nervously, "Maybe not."

Holy crap! We're sucking it up on rolls. At least we're getting it out of our systems now! :)

Xond strikes out with his longsword Longsword AoO: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 but swings wide, his stance thrown off by the pain in his leg. "Ugh. Lucky shot!"

I don't think it'll stall. I think we're all too excited about our characters to let that happen! :)

Also a few meta-ish questions:

• Which thugs are which? You have them noted as DK1-3/L21A-C on the board but not marked in Roll20. It's a little unclear for me.
• How big are those boxes next to Xond? I'm curious for later turns.

EDIT: So I re-read it. DK3 is the one in front of me? If so can I use my reaction to take an AoO for his ranged attack (incidentally against me) while in melee?

Xond raises his hand to wave at Kreel with a smile but his motion is cut off by the motion in the corner of his eye and the flash of a blaster shot colliding with Kreel's neck.

"Holy Quiznak!" He shouts.

Xond inhales sharply as his eyes erupt in golden energy and his stellar mote reignites as the raw cosmic energy of The Cycle flows through him. Enters Photon Mode at beginning of the first round of combat.

Xond runs forward, clapping "Breaker" on the shoulder as he passes by. "No problem! We're meeting Kreel too!"

As Xond moves into close quarters with the nearest thug on the right he draws his sword and flashes the thug a smug grin. "Hope you're ready to tango."
Move action to move full speed and draws longsword.

"It's more mysticism than science. ... I think." he says, tentatively.

Thinking for a second, "I'm not much of a teacher, but if you're interested feel free to join me for my morning exercises."

Gathering his ammo and gear, Xond suits back up and head out of the transport. "They were true fans."
Upon seeing the bustling docking bay he cracks a big smile and scanning the crowd for anyone that resembles Kreel's description before his stature gets in the way.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

With a smirk and a snap of his fingers, Xond reignites the orb which bursts into existence like a new-born golden star. "It's a small stellar mote of cosmic energy that is siphoned from the universal cycle of creation and destruction that suffuses all of reality. " Xond waves his hand near the orb and it extinguishes. "Atleast thats what I've been told it is. To me its just a natural extension of who I am."

Xond looks out the window, staring into the distance. "I guess it is, but it reminds me too much of growing up."

A halfling reclines in his chair near a window; his head leaned back and eyes absently locked on the small golden glowing orb that lazily orbits his head in irregular patterns.

His eyes depart the orb and glance towards Blacklock, with a smile. "I'm Xond. As to the booze, if they had any, I'd've already dug into it." Letting off a heavy sigh, "I'd forgotten how much I dislike public transports."

Sitting up, he stretches and cracks his back still grinning. "Ugh. That felt good." With a quick flourish, for no one in particular, Xond grabs the glowing orb, extinguishes its light and reveals his empty palm.

He chuckles at Kasha's child-like excitement. "It's about as amazing as commercial space travel can get." He simply shrugs at her questions, "I don't have any more idea about who Kreel is than you do."

Xond, I really liked your character template, btw. That is not why I selected you though.

I'd hope so! I tried to make an interesting character.

As to you rolling Initiative, whatever makes things easiest for you.

For loot division, I'm ok with a "Whoever can use it best." mentality. If we later decide to have a more mathematical "fair" method I have a couple ideas that might work.
