Xipil saw the bone club at him and tried to counter-attack with a Scratch attack.

Defense: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Scratch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 1

"Guess they got a bone to pick with us." Xipil chuckles as he get ready.

Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

"I didn't expect to see Cubone hear." Xipil mutters as he turns around to go tell the others what he'd seen.

I imagine if we left it sleeping it wouldn't wake up.

Xipil looks back and forth between the two paths before walking down the right path and peeking around the corner carefully.

Stealth: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

I do believe I've kicked something extra noisy...

"I'll go with you. If any of the crazed Dungeon Pokemon show up we can claw them up, yeah?" Xipil asks as he holds up his claws. Now that he was actually in a Mystery Dungeon he wasn't feeling too confident, but they also had a Blaziken with them, so things probably weren't going to be to bad, right?

With all these Fire Pokemon, a Steel Pokemon, and a veggie-wielding Bird Pokemon,I suggest Team Stir Fry.

Evolution lets you gauge how strong a pokemon is. With one that doesn't(or didn't choose to) you can pretend to be weaker and gain a sneaky advantage.

Since Charmander don't get a bonus to defense, is my starting modifier +0 or do they all start at +1?
