I was confused by something I think.

I took your OOC part in the post to mean that you were going to wait until later today to state what is actually said.

I'm just going to go ahead and assume Rendel read out loud as was written.

Please, I expect it's just a cookbook.
It is! See: To Serve Man. ;)

Ah the classics.

I have always wanted to see the J.Child cooking show based on that.

Not so sure re: Torthen and Giles. Their players have not posted in a bit. Giles's last post under any alias was here on the 22nd.
Thorthen's was on monday in another pbp.

hmmmm.....

I posted yesterday

Going away this weekend, not sure how much I'll be about.

Also, I'll preemptively apologize if Giles does or says anything that offends you.

As to experience, I'm currently running a Pathfinder game on another site, but it's my first one. Done quite a bit of 3.5 PbP DMing though.

I'm in Vancouver, so GMT-8

As to the deleting thing, that's really unfortunate. On the site I'm using, you can actually see when post was deleted (including what was in it) and also see the edit history if one wishes.

Thanks for the invite, looking forward to the game

Heh. And I was hoping for a character with a Big Mac archetype...

Oh my... Major typo there. I meant to say Hamburglar.

I'm pretty open to modifying Giles' background slightly to know someone else if that is what you're wishing. I tend to leave gaps in my characters background for this very reason.

I shall be putting an application in. I thought I had applied to this game but I guess not.

Yeah, he could work as a sorcerer. I saw the two other oracles: I think Eldon appeared while I was writing up Arasmes, and I assumed Aspexia was a bard, being an opera singer and all. I try to avoid duplicating other submissions, but failed this time. My only concern with sorcerer is the lack of skills, but I can be sure that Arasmes has a highish intelligence.

I'm mainly interested in the character idea: the foppish scholar who gets tangled up in drugs and then encounters something . . . other and horrible and emerges changed and scarred. The whole Lovecraft thing.

I thought she may come across as a bard, sorry about that. I don't think that every singer/performer needs to be a bard (perform is a class skill for her) and it was a rather good fit for her so she could do something other than being a noble.

That being said, I may be able to rework her as a bard, but it would call for a rather large change in her personality and background. I better reworking would likely be as a sorcerer.

Completely agree with Jeremiziah. I was originally looking forward to this AP after hearing the setting, but now that I know it begins with a large amount of RP, I'm even more interested.

Hey all,

I'm looking for some players for my first go at DMing Pathfinder. I wanted to run a short fun module from an old Dungeon magazine called Chimes at Midnight. It is set Eberron.

You can find the full game add here:

I hope it's okay to post links to another board, they have a really nice set up for games there.

Thanks!
