No worries, I was just thinking of getting Metamorphosis or Mental Invisibility when I eventually level up in the distant future. Xeno keeps to the heights, away from the town and the possibility of dragging adventurers out toward the keep. Instead he contents himself with watching other routes of approach and keeping an eye peeled for other monsters that might live in the wilds around the crumbling keep.

"I'll check. If the roof has collapsed I might be able to land inside. But I don't think I can squeeze through those slits," says the dragon dubiously. He takes wing and circles over the tower at close range, looking to see if there are any places where he might be able to gain illicit entry.

"I suppose I shall have to stay below the treeline," says Xenotime. "All it takes is one shepherd spreading stories of seeing a dragon on the wing and suddenly it's knights and wizards up to your knickers. But I can probably get up to the Eagle's Eyrie easily enough, assuming there aren't any perytons or griffons or the like up there already."

From out of the forest cover swoops the infant dragon, quietly sweeping across and over the battlefield, then blasting the boat's occupants with a storm of tiny, coruscating crystals that flay off flesh! Breath weapon: Crystal shard damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Save for half damage, second save or dazzled (-2 on attack rolls)

Yeah, I'm just trying to figure out where! I'm sorry for the hold up. I was sick for about a week with a 100+ fever most of the time and now the medication I'm taking is really messing with my concentration and focus. If you need to bot my entrance just to speed things along, don't hesitate.

The young dragon replies, "That wizard who supposedly meddles all over the region but nobody ever sees him? Hm." He scratches his snout idly with a claw, then says, "The Zhents were the ones keeping me in a cage so I have no qualms about raining terrible vengeance upon them! I don't really have an opinion about this 'Lord Randal Morn' one way or the other. Humans sure place a lot of stock upon accidents of birth."

Somewhere just before evening the white-scaled dragon soars low over the forest and makes a circle before landing near Alyna's camp.
The dragon leans back and grooms itself much like a cat, then says in Elvish, "I hope you do not mind the intrusion. I am, after all, a bit curious about what transpired in the human settlement. I don't know if the humans will take the Zhents seriously at all. I may be pushed into the role of being a simple caravan raider for a few years! Rather undignified."

Elvish:
"I avoid human-towns whenever possible. They are filth-ridden and I've no desire to become a target for archers or would-be magicians." The dragon sniffs and inspects one of its wing pinions, as if making a big deal of trying to find out why it nearly stalled on takeoff.

Elvish: the dragon says carefully to Beixidor. Then the dragon leaps into the air and with a great heave of its wings it becomes airborne. Its wings flap mightily and it starts to take off in a heavy, ponderous climb. After breaking the treeline he orients slightly more on the level, loses his cadence and nearly tumbles to the right, reorients himself, then cruises in a slow circle over part of the forest.
"I am familiar with the vagaries of humans," Surprisingly, the dragon makes its way back to the wreckage and settles down back near the wagon, then says in the Common tongue, "The riders have fled into the forest, but they will doubtless tell their masters what transpired. I daresay a trip to your... settlement or whatever is in order."

Elvish: the dragon says to Alyna.
"I am quite hungry! Perhaps I could just have a small bite of something... then I would gladly take wing and see what approaches. If it is more of these Zhentarim, I have half a mind to give them a reason to fear my kind!" The dragon leans forward, back onto all four legs, and spreads its wings tentatively to make sure that they have not been injured by captivity.

The dragon rears back and sits up, somewhat like a cat on its back haunches, sunlight sparkling off its white scales, and it delicately licks one of its bloody claws. Then, finally, it speaks in a measured tone: Elvish:
"These filthy humans kept me bound for days! Little to eat, nothing but beatings! BLECH!" The dragon side-eyes the unlikely team, as if deciding whether it should just fly away now.

Waiting on me? Uh, ok, I thought I had used my turn trying to get out of the leg ties. The pony-sized "little" dragon comes bursting out of the wagon, snarling as ferociously as it can muster. It lashes out at one of the Zhents with an angry claw. Claw attack, THAC0 20: 20 - 1d20 ⇒ 20 - (18) = 2
