Thanks, I moved on to Crimson Assassin.

In the 2017 Book of the Damned, the Soul Drinker has Soul Pool:

At 2nd level, a souldrinker can store stolen life energy to use thereafter to accomplish unnatural feats.

Her soul pool starts at 0, and at any one time, it can contain a maximum number of soul points equal to her souldrinker level. Every time a souldrinker inflicts a negative level on a creature other than herself, she gains 1 soul point.

A souldrinker can expend soul points for the following.

Create Item: A souldrinker can expend points from her soul pool to provide energy for the creation of magic items. Each point expended provides 500 gp worth of raw materials for the item.
Recover Spell Slot: As a full-round action, a souldrinker can expend a number of points from her soul pool equal to double the spell level of a cast spell or expended spell slot in order to regain that spell or slot as if it had not been used.
Protect Soul: A souldrinker can spend soul points to avoid gaining a negative level, at a rate of 1 soul point per negative level negated.

Anyone have any interesting ways to utilize this, or the Soul Drinker in general? Most stuff I have found on the web have been regarding the old Soul Drinker.

My DM allows stat rolling, and I've never seen a poorly "rolled" character. I wish it were point buy.

So you recommend I don't go with Power Attack? Also, even if you have multiple AoO's, you can only attack an adversary with one attack per trigger, right?

Hunter's Tactics from Sacred Hunter replaces Solo Tactics.

Hi Everyone,
I want to make a Sacred Huntmaster with the rage domain, hoping to use Ferocious Mount & Amplified Rage at 12th lvl. I was thinking of having tiger so that all those attacks can be raged.
Here are the feats I was thinking of using:

The Tiger King
Half Orc
Shaman Enhancement
Toothy

Lvl 1
Domain: Rage
Combat Expertise (for pack flanking)
Lvl 3 feat: Power Attack Bonus feat: Pack Flanking
Lvl 5 feat: Improved Spell Sharing
Lvl 6 Free teamwork feat: Outflank
Lvl 7 feat: Broken Wing Gambit Riding Tiger!!!!
Lvl 9 feat: Combat Reflexes Teamwork Feat: Paired Opportunist
Lvl 11 feat: improved Critical
LvL 12 Rage Power: Ferocious Mount bonus feat: Amplified Rage
Lvl 13 Snapping Flank

Do you think this would function well? Is a tiger a good choice, or should I aim for a mount with one big attack to make the Aoos hit stronger? Thanks!

Fairly new to actually playing Pathfinder, and I tend to like abusive builds, so THANKS!

Only an orc can have a warcat animal companions. Since half orcs have the orc subtype, can they get a warcat companion? Thanks!

I just found a comprehensive spell guide, and I found some good additions.
My build focuses on Necro spells (which there aren't a lot of). Bestow Curse is a good one, but it requires every hurdle possible to stick. Madness domain has some great abilities too.

If I were to build a new cleric, I think I would build melee based one with Divine Favor/Power, some communal buffs and debuffs, and the rest utility. I wouldn't even need a lot of wis.

I decided to play a cleric in The Emerald Spire. I try to scour every bit of info before I build a character, and decided to go with a popular bad touch cleric build called Bobo! (Sorry, don't know how to hyper link here.)
He looks great on paper, but in reality he seems too specialized, and I have trouble landing touch spells after hitting, SR and saving throws/resistances. I am leaving a spell slot open at each lvl, which I seldom need, as we seem to get through 3-4 encounters a night. I did use Communal Airwalk, to get our party over a glorified jacuzzi, but it just didn't seem exciting. Am I doing something wrong?

Even though I read "How to play a cleric and not hate it," I still hate it. I have looked at builds like reach cleric, and melee damage clerics but none of them look that interesting.
What am I missing regarding clerics? Thanks!

Why is Summoning as Standard action so good?

1. You can also move: In a big group, as a dedicated caster, ok, in a small group, great!

2. Cast quickened spells, nice!

Any other reasons it is good?

Thanks!

Just found out that the hooves would be secondary (rules). Haven't found out about Boar resilience yet.

Does Boar's Resilience count as Endurance to qualify for Improved Stalwart?

"You are unimpaired by being at exactly 0 hit points. In addition, you can ignore the Endurance prerequisite for the Diehard feat."

Can you ignore it for Improved Stalwart?

Also, if a wereboar has 2 hooves, a gore attack (extra features) a bite attack, and 2 claw attacks (rage powers), does he get 6 attacks at full BAB?

Thanks!

Saavy!

After reading the "Fist of the Heavens" guide, I saw some great combat style feats, with heavy monk lvl reqs. Does Champion of Enlightened and Monk lvls stack for feats? If not, all the lovely Crane feats won't work for a long time!

Thanks!

Great news, thanks!

I am new to Acrobatics. If I am a ninja, wanting to flank, and I have to move through 3 threatened squares, do I need to make 3 separate acrobatics checks? (I understand tumbling through creature adds 10 to the DC.)

If I disengage via acrobatics, I can make one check, and then move 20 feet (with a human) because tumbling through 1 square would be at 1/2 speed (for optimal outcome)?

Thanks!

What are some good AWT for archers? I also think I read somewhere that this caps the damage warpriests do with weapons?

Does weapon training do anything in itself?

Arv, why would I want weapon finesse?

I heard the champion was good also, but then again, not good. Hard to read between the lines.

(Not sure where form tools are.)

Hi all, first post! I have recently started playing Pathfinder, and have been scouring the 'net for Warpriest builds, with not much luck. After reading N. Jolly's excellent warpriest guide, I have a lot of questions.

I want to make either a half orc warpriest, or an archer warpriest (if half orc works, then great!)

This, from the guide, sounds great, if I knew what the possiblities were:

"Considering that you’re going to be taking sacred tattoo, this race has a ton of synergy with warpriest and can steal the human favored class bonus, making them some intense warpriest. Throw in strong racial feats and the ability to snag racial heritage and they’re the best CRB race possible."

Do people post lvl by lvl builds? I like starting from something that works, so that I can understand it.

Thanks!
