You can put the loot gained on this adventure in the chest in that corner - you will receive the usual stipend tomorrow. and with that, the blue gnome disappears in a puff of smoke.

"Fat Penguin. HAH. Your mother will be pleased after the belly laugh that gave her." says a voice before the laughing blue gnome appears at the head of the table. "I can't believe how many neighbors she told that story to before I even had time to escape!"

He looks over at the minstral. "Good to see you in one piece Balenar. I certainly hope this covers the favor I owed you."

He turns back to the group. "So what mischief did you get into on your journey? I see a number of you are writing out your reports - that is good to see. You may make fine Pathfinder agents yet."

Xar'z hands over the map, finishes his drink and says "Welp. Good luck!" and disappears in a magical flourish.

"A human named Balenar Forsend. A minstral with a silver tongue. As for captors, use your best judgement."

"ancient siege tower... probably has loot. if not there'll be pay in it for ya."

Xar'z chuckles and shakes his head. "The troll was just an Auger... pretty standard sight in some towns. As for the bet... well it involved Mutt and a half troll... he did much better than I expected with her."

Xar'z unrolls a map of Kortos and points "Should be around here."

"So there I was at a bar in Riddleport with my good friend Mutt, carousing and partying like that one time..."

Xar'z takes a sip of his wine. "As I was saying... I received a message that a Pathfinder I owe a favor to is overdue on his mission. Unfortunately I lost a bet... so I need you initiates to go check on him. He was exploring the Cairnlands West of here. A Troll cut out her guts and saw him huddled in an old Siege Tower. I assume you all are up for a little search and rescue and reap the rewards?"

A blue gnome, dressed lavishly with many blue sapphire diamonds around his neck looks impressed
"I gotta agree with the pretty girl... I like a strong drink every now and then.. but look at those merchants aiding this great cause - just look at those beautiful blue jems inlaid intricately by Lady Dragon... may have to acquire one myself."

*casts life bubble on Andrew Torgerud*

"Now i must say Glastor, your attention span is limited. A few more gnomes is always a good thing - for their is profit in the Blue Gem business and a few more of my prodigy goes a loooong way."

The Blue gnome finishes his latest drink and hops off the stool.

"Let's see here... I'm Hiding In Your Closet, Granta, Lithrac, RyckyRych, Sethran, and... SkipperD. Report to Kaer Maga!" and with that, the gnome casts a spell and disappears.

a blue Gnome struts through the door, the blue diamonds pendants on his mithral necklace shimmer in the light.

"There's some crazyness happenings up in Kaer Maga - Those crazy Thassilonian wanna-be's are making a ruckus again i wager. Need some volunteers!"

Venture Captain Xar'zith Zook Furrygen Nackl pins the recuitment order to the board and saunters over to the bar for a few rounds of drinks.

Soryan tells the tale well... but alas was not alive to see that despite the one round 250 damage Mutt did... it was the lingering ice surrounding him that laid him low!

Unfortunately Haco is correct. The feat is worded specifically for a "mount".

I personally would not challenge it, but RAW.. No it doesn't work.

Boon companion would give you four levels depending on how much multi-classing you wanted.

10-11 hard mode was epic. I would love to see the Krune kill counts from paizocon.

Epic weekend continues. Waking rune 10-11 hard mode everything to wish for. Gold star achieved on the way to retirement.

Just Finished Running It. Loved It. Very Fast Even With A Healthy dose Of Roleplay And ShenaniganS.

I like the flavor having a +27 craft jewelry for my gnome sorc... (+35 on dayjobs ;)

as for other "meaningful" craft... cartography is good one for a few missions.

and no... a day job is never mathematically worth putting gp/pp into.. but it is flavorful

alchemy was mentioned.. identify potions if you put no ranks in spellcraft

theres a reason i dont burn shirt rerolls on random bbeg will saves... "dominate person"? i rolled bad.. no need to reroll...

followed up by the Gm allowing me to act in the best interest of the bad guy... after two rounds dealt more damage than all scenario badguys combined and have 3 pc's on their backs....

Now going on 7th level artisan shop! (while saving 5pp for body recovery)

As I was accused of this at a recent con... I "fell" into that trap. Except I did it with both feet and eyes wide open! Give me the blue gems that I earn at my level 6(going on 7) artisan shop.

Day jobs are for flavor. (Although having a Con Gm call me out for an explanation on my +31 day job craft jewelry at level 7 was very funny.)

And... the numbers game changed with the lighter restrictions on day jobs in latest guide.

I would say any elemental specialized arcane caster other than boreal would pass on it.

CRB Feats are described on page 8 of the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

so i suppose technically it is legal to take for the +2 skill... but you cant craft items... and the rest of the feat is also unusable. But to avoid conflict i certainly would not - even for the fluff value..
