Male Human
Even with PF2 coming out, I won't forget my PF1 characters. I'm sure there will be some traditionalist out there that will run both Core and Classic PF1 games.
Male Human
Wylka gladly hands over the statues. "There were a few touch and goes, but for one situation when magic was cast near the statue." avoids mentioning it was his magic. "The statues were not that difficult to get. Though we will need to be reimbursed for a couple of them." "As for that one instance, a giant scorpion was summoned to attack us."
Male Human
Yeah. With this group, I don't think the murder-hobo route would've flied at least roleplaying wise.
Male Human
Sensing they won't get it any lower, Wylka just rummages around his coin purse and pulls out 450gp to pay. "Here you go." Good thing Wylka started with a lot of gold.
Male Human
"500? Surely you can go lower than that. Why think of your well-being if the curse was to accidentally activate." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Male Human
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 Seeing where this is going, Wylka internally sighs before speaking up. "I understand. We don't seek to take the statuette off of you without compensation. But remember, we are helping you as well. If you sold the statuette to someone who is not well versed in it's curse, they could seriously get hurt or killed. Then the rumors will go around that you sold a dangerous object to one of your customers that got them killed. That would drive away business." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Male Human
Wylka smiles as he approaches Marafi. "Greetings. We are hoping you still have in our possession a statuette that you might have recently acquired."
Male Human
Wylka hands over his collection of weapons for safe keeping while he waits to be let in.
Male Human
Diplomacy (Gather Info): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 Securing the new statue with the others, Wylka puts his mind on the last statue to obtain. "The secure markets of Saldin Marafi. We'll have to give up our weapons and won't be able to cast any magic while in the market. So we'll need to be extra careful to not try to get into a fight."
Male Human
Wylka frowns but decides to let it be. "They are going to have to reimburse me for this." He pulls out his coin purse and draws out 400 gold coins but doesn't hand them over until the statue is given to them.
Male Human
Glad his Charm worked on the fellow and they got a translator, Wylka tires to go the diplomatic route before attempting to force him to give it to them through his Charm effect. "I truly fear for your safety. Let us buy it off of you, we are not asking you give it to us for free." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Male Human
Wait to see if anyone comes forward with Farlen's offer before he thinks about casting his Comprehend Language spell.
Male Human
Wylka motions for Buri to follow him out the back exit to the shop, smiling all the way.
Male Human
Fort DC10: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Sense Motive DC15: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27 Again Wylka is not bothered by the dust but seeing Buri does not liked being restrained in any way, he decides to go another strategy to get him out of the building. Wylka grasp his holy symbol and walks over to the table Buri is hiding under, then bends down and smiles at Buri. With a soothing and enchanted voice, "We are your friends. Lets get out of this dusty building and have a nice talk." Charm Person vs Will DC 14 on Buri.
Male Human
Fort DC10: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 Again the dust doesn't bother Wylka. He looks at the workers closing in on them and tries to reason with them. "Please stand back. We are apprehending a certain person that has become invisible and will be shortly out of your hair." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Male Human
Fort Save DC 10 vs Dust: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15 Wylka nose starts to run a little bit from the dust but is otherwise okay with it.
Male Human
Wylka goes at a full burst run toward the back exit, either running Buri down or making it to the exit. He then turns and uses his glaive along with his body to block the exit. Huffing from the sudden burst of adrenaline, "My companion is right. We don't want to hurt you. We want to talk to you about the statue you have for it is cursed." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 Run x 3 (60')
Male Human
Wylka cast detect magic and examines the room as they enter it. Spellcraft DC10: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 "Hmmm... the light in the lanterns are magical. Continual Flame to be exact." With that said and nothing else to see except for the foot trail in the dust. "Good thing the dust is covering everything." He starts to follow the foot trail.
Male Human
Wylka heads for the large building and sees if the front door is locked or not.
Male Human
Wylka covers his mouth quickly trying to prevent a chuckle from escaping and mumbles, "See... invisible..."
Male Human
Wylka stops at the two story building with no windows and looks at the sign. "Anyone read Kellish? Also, it seems our invisible friend entered into this building. His invisibility should not be able to last much longer I suspect."
Male Human
Wylka quickly heads after the puffs of dust and heads for the building it leads to.
Male Human
Wylka frowns, "I'm guessing a potion of invisibility. But he seemed worried. Maybe he was being chased or stalked by someone." Wylka looks around for anyone acting suspicious besides members of their own group. Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Male Human
Wylka frowns as he looks at the others, "We can probably get reimbursed."
Male Human
Smiling, "Thank you for your time. We have been tasked into collecting three of these statues. We have collected one of them, though the chaos the statue caused nearly killed us. The organization we work for collects items of chaos which are dangerous to hold for most people and are a danger to the common folk nearby. The statue who hold will summon dangers creatures to attack it's owner at any random moment. We ask they you hand the statue over to us for safe guarding for we have means to prevent it from activating." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 Darn, a low roll this time.
Male Human
"Come now. No need to be so rude. We wish to speak with you about a statue you recently obtained." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Male Human
Wylka approaches Viraj and smiles down at the man. "Greetings, you are Viraj I presume?"
Male Human
Wylka rises from his prone position, "Nasty scorpion." He then gathers himself and takes out his wand to heal himself further. Wand of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Fully healed, he nods to the others and seeks to gather information on the whereabouts of the other statues. Diplomacy (Gather Info) +4 Aid: 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 8 + 4 = 32 LOL... nice time to roll a natural 20.
Male Human
Wylka has a Wand of CLW you can use on him to get him conscious. He then can heal the rest of the way.
Male Human
Okay. Looked what I have for Wylka. This is his only Chronicle signed up for the GameDay. So I am fine with Option 2. However if others do have schedule issues, I think Option 1 is good.
Male Human
Stabilize DC10: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16 The Goddess seems to be with Wylka at this moment as he stops bleeding and seems to start breathing less shallow.
Male Human
Ouch Stabilize DC10: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 Wylka continues to bleed out.
Male Human
Wylka takes a step back in surprise as the giant scorpion takes form. "Hmmm...." He then brings his glaive around to attack the arachnid. Gliave vs Scorpion: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Free: 5'step
wow... I haven't rolled any good d20 roll since the site has been working again.
Male Human
Looking at the statue, he cast Detect Magic as he takes a closer look at it. Just to see if it truly does radiate magic.
Male Human
Wylka gives a disarming smile, "Don't worry. We are not here to hurt you. We are here to discuss about a certain statue you might have recently come in contact with."
Male Human
Sense Motive DC9: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27; hehe.. can't fail. Wylka smiles and then points to two customers for his companions to notice, "It seems like our extorting friend has a couple of extra friends." Looking back, "I don't suppose your friends and yourself will be just willing to leave?" Not trying to be diplomatic here.
Male Human
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 Wylka approaches the man with a smile, "What my friend means, we have urgent busines with Tandir and would prefer if you handled your business later." Darn. Was hoping to get a better roll. Made Wylka sound more threatening then charming.
Male Human
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 "Ah... I just new they had to be magical in some way. Thank you for the warning about the statues."
Male Human
Wylka knows the favor probably won't be that good, but he agrees. "As long as it doesn't contradict my faith, I am willing to owe you a favor."
Male Human
Wylka nods, "We were directed to find out the whereabouts of the statues and retrieve them."
Male Human
Wylka sighs as he looks down at the dead body of their information source. "We were to question him about a certain set of statues."
