![]() Winst uses the bandits distraction to slam his hammer down on the other man's shoulder. Hearing the scream and pop he knows this one is down for better or worse. Warhammer to whoever is still up: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Depending on whether our GM wants us to stick to init order or not, Winst will either be hitting B3 or moving and hitting B2. Either or. ![]()

![]() Ahh, you had mentioned B8, which is way out of my range. B3 is managable though. Despite his misgivings of leaving the others behind, the large ginger also didn't like the idea of one of them getting ganged up on by their attackers. So he charges the nearest bandit, but a root catches his foot at the last moment making his aim go wide. charge with warhammer: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 9

![]() "Me neither." Winst answers Zathan's expression. "This all smells something awful, don't it? Bandits used as training dummies, than the same bandits happen to ambush where we're told to camp. If we keep following the script we're like to end up dead." Looking around to see what the others think, especially Sarah to see if she wants to take lead "I'd suggest hunting them back to their base instead of chasing them down in the woods. Taking the artifact we've been tasked with early if they've already got it. Whittling them down a bit if they don't." ![]()
male Human Fighter(tactician) 1
![]() Not wanting to leave the others behind, and seeing that the strange kid ain't having any problem so far. Winst pushes toward the bandits charging straight to the camp, smacking him with a well placed but glancing blow. Maybe it will draw attention away from Billy and Sarah. Warhammer to B5: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

![]() Winst grunts as Zathan moves forward. The large man would have preferred to wait for the bandits to move the entire distance, allowing them to use the campsite to hamper flanking. He remembers the young man's fight in the practice match though and knows he can fight. Best not leave him out there alone though. Double move to get to where Zathan is, slower cause of armor. ![]()

![]() Ah, the wolves Winst grumbles, strapping on his shield and hefting his hammer. Imagine. Let a bunch of bandits in to be used as practice dummies and suddenly they know our movements well enough to ambush us. Strange that he says sarcastically. The big man moves to the front, unless their leader tells him otherwise. ![]()

![]() Hmmm... Winst considers, sharing a look with Silas Well, Billy things get a little warm around you when your emotions get stirred up. Figured it meant you had some special in you and such. Maybe not though. Don't worry about fire, I can manage. he takes out some flint and steel(assuming we got some with the tents) and gets to work. ![]()
male Human Fighter(tactician) 1
![]() Winst is quite used to setting up camp. Being sent to pick up supplies from the next town over at a young age was the norm, so he starts gathering wood, getting tents set up, and digging a pit for waste. All the fun stuff. Once the fire is ready to be lite, he calls out Hey kid- I mean Billy- can you do things other than make things hot? gesturing to the pile of wood. Winst is thinking they should all get to know somewhat what the others are capable of. ![]()
male Human Fighter(tactician) 1
![]() He leaves Silas to answer that Billy's question, instead looks to the others and mutters Sent to kill people we don't know, who are guarding something we know nothing of save being called "goods." he looks to Randrashar Well, leader of ours, any suggestions before we head out... hopefully with some camping gear and such. ![]()
male Human Fighter(tactician) 1
![]() Winst stretches, popping several joints in an attempt to relive the morning aches. The bed was fine but he couldn't get comfortable, might be the group of unknown potential killers, might be the furnace in the next bed over, who knows. He greets the others with a nod and a grunt, waiting for the officer to get things moving. ![]()
male Human Fighter(tactician) 1
![]() Winst shrugs at Runt's suggestion, every one's got their own crazy he guesses. Ain't sure what my heaven would be like, but if this is yours, there's nothing wrong with that. In the bunk house he watches the others to settle, noting those that choose the farthest point from the door and those that pick the closest. And if any groups seem to be forming. For himself, he chooses one on the other side of the kid. Nodding to Silas if he happens to take the other one. A kid who boils the room, several women, at least one close to batty, and half the room sporting weapons now. Going to be a long night. ![]()

![]() Looks like we all agree on something, us being pawns and them serving a nice dinner. he realizes he's been rude again Sorry he apologizes with a grunt to the two who has joined their table Us normies... gesturing to Billy, Silas, and Runt... Got our names out already. I'm Winst. ![]()
male Human Fighter(tactician) 1
![]() Winst spends his time watching the bandits, not the ones fighting, but the one lounging as he is. Bandits rob people, kill them if they resist, and this organization hired them to be practice dummies. So they're either lying, stupid, or something to be feared. In more ways than one. ![]()
male Human Fighter(tactician) 1
![]() Winst looks over to their one remaining "recruit", seeing if he's going to continue with the introductions, though thinking it's not likely. Shrugging, a gesture he seems very familiar with, he answers Brayden, Might not be worth it til we know what unit, and what "leader" the word betrays more than a hint of disdain, ... we're stuck with. The whole getting to know each other thing I mean. ![]()
male Human Fighter(tactician) 1
![]() Winst shrugs off the immediate separation between the group. Seven applied, four will be rejected and potentially bitter. He gets a half smile, thinking this is going to be interesting if nothing else. He nods to the guy who had spoken, then falls in line. Looking over his fellow Norms, he wonders who in the hell would buy of us like this, for that amount. Thinking about it and watching all he can is all he's willing to do about it though... at the moment. ![]()

![]() A few THOUSAND? Winst says in wonder, to no one in particular Heck I would have sold myself for that much. He stays back, large arms crossed across his chest, watching those who decide they want to lead. A horde of unwanted, we are. Wonder if those ones are seeking power, escape, or approval.
