Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

"Only one way in, that will make it much easier to defend. Well, let's get moving." Whiteclaw starts towards the tower.

Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

I think that we should stick together. I don't mind losing a surge, but as a defender I have tons of them. I sorta wish there were more ways for defenders to burn them since I rarely get low on surges. Ok, rambling off, back on topic. It could make sense to check the cave, but since we don't get another extended rest, if it seems the wall is the fastest way to the center, we should take that way.

Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

Nope. Not trained in heal. It's all Tutavak.

Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

Can we secure the fey so they are not a threat? If so, I'd lean towards resting, I think most of us need it.

Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

Haven't updated the profile yet, but here are my changes: I retrained Novice Power to Revitalizing Font of Life (if I make my FOnt of Life save -the one at the start of the turn - I get a +2 to all other saves that round). For powers, I lost Grasping Winds and picked up Sacrifical Strike (triple damage melee, and until the EOMNT, whenever any foe hits me I can choose an ally within 3 squares to gain 10 Temp HP. Also, by retraining Novice Power, I lose Barkskin and regain Mountail Lion Step (which will likely be retrained at 14)

Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

Starting with the save vs slow: 1d20 ⇒ 2. Fail. I echo the lack of ranged powers, one of my back up defenders (in case Whiteclaw goes down at any points) would have been insane in this encounter.

Whiteclaw pulls herself to her feet once more and she lashes out at the golem with her axe.

Stand up, make the golem, and then Winter's Claws vs the Golem. 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30. Damage: 2d10 + 9 ⇒ (2, 8) + 9 = 19 cold damage and it's slowed until EMONT.

Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

I get one OA. The damage from the blinded put me at 31, the damage from the golem at -1. So, I'd have been down, barely but down, for the second OA. That OA: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21, on hit: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 cold damage..

Kia brings me back up at 35

Preturn save vs dazed and immob: 1d20 ⇒ 1. Fail

Whiteclaw pulls herself back up to her paws, then becomes a gnoll once more.

Normally, that would allow a one square shift, but immob negates that.

Then she lashes out, her axe seeming to become a mass of thorny vines.

Thorn Strike at the golem. 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30. On hit: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 cold damage and I pull it north one square. Mark all baddies. Made the important one :)

Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

It was the combo of being both dazed and prone that made me think it wasn't really doable as an AO. I will keep my action, as well. Whiteclaw would go for the golem.

The Kia OA: Target B3. 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27. On hit: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 cold damage

Since I am dazed and prone, I don't think I can make the Kia inspired attack in any event, maybe she can give it to someone else? Preturn save: 1d20 ⇒ 19. If I'm reading that right, everything ends, so...

"This is an annoying realm, this fae land." Whiteclaw says as she rises once more, ignoring the falling of the last two blinded. Then she is shifting into the form of a large white wolf.

Move: Stand. Minor: Wild Shape

The wolf races forward, leaping over Chary, as she closes the gap on the golem, snarling and going for it's legs.

Charge to R17, ending with a Pounce, vs reflex: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28, on hit: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 cold damage and the golem grants CA to the next person that attacks it before SOMNT

Chary is up. Unlike previous editions, the only thing negative numbers matter for are dying saves and insta-death from negative bloodied. All healing of dying people brings them to zero first, then applies the heal (pg 295, PH). So, Chary has had to make a death save, and then is at 20 hp and prone.

My own preturn save: 1d20 ⇒ 1. Fail.

Whiteclaw can do - nothing. The golem's magic holds her in place for more precious time.

Move action: Move to J18. Standard Action: Ferocious Charge making a strength of stone attack. Move to M18 and then attack with mega bonuses: +3 to hit (charge and flanking), +8 to damage (ferocious charge, powerful charge, pack attack. Hope it hits! 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21. And it whiffs....lol

I'm back! Sorry all, was in the hospital with pnemonia. Better now, just had no way to let Rosey know until I got home yesterday.

Start of Turn save: 1d20 ⇒ 4. Fail, I take 5.

Doing her best to both ward Chary and keep the golem locked down, Whiteclaw calls upon the powers of winter, ice forming everywhere. A slight sheen of it grows over the drow, warding her as armor would, while the normal chill from the gnoll's weapon increases.

Minor Action: Icewrought Armor on Chary. She has +2 to all defenses until EOMNT. If she is hit with a melee attack before then, the bonus ends, but the attacker is immobilized until the end of it's next turn.

Standard Action: Rime shackles vs the Golem: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (7) + 17 = 24. On hit: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14 cold damage and it's immoblized until EOMNT. It's not marked, since I used my minor on the armor.

Any creature that starts in it, or enters it, takes 5 cold damage.

Even as the blast of frost covers the trolls, Whiteclaw calls on nature to protect Tutavik.

Minor: Barkskin on Tutavik. He has +4 AC until EOMNT

Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

Put me in D4. Init: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10. I'll also do a Nature check to see if I can add any more knowledge. 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29. I'd vote for trying to skill challenge our way past here, if we can. Not fighting is always better :)

This could be a complex turn for me.

Whiteclaw dances around Aky, the gnoll having a strategy in mind.

Move: K13, L12, M12. Draw OA from S2 and Aky, with Aky's being a -4.

Once in position, her axe flashes at Aky.

Grasping Winds vs Aky. Targets AC. 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (19) + 19 = 38. Hit. Crit thanks to Kia. Damage: 17 + 2d10 + 3d6 ⇒ 17 + (6, 1) + (5, 1, 6) = 36 cold damage. In addition, I can pull all enemies within 3 squares of me two squares - here's where the complex comes in.

Pulls: Aky - no move. Pull W8 to M14. Pull S6 to L12. Pull S4 to M12. Mark Aky, W8, S4, S6, AC.

Whiteclaw's not done, though. Now that she has reshaped the battlefield, she attacks again.

AP. From Cold Snap Action, Aky, AC, S4, S6, and W8 takes 6 cold damage. I also have +1 to hit with cold powers until EOMNT. Now, apoligies to some PCs, but friendly fire is needed here. Rime Shackles vs Aky. 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (13) + 20 = 33. Hit. 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14 cold damage and Aky is immobilized until the end of my next turn.
