It sounds like you're saying we should now see the correct number of AcP next to scenarios we've run; if we're still seeing problems (like some quests giving 0.00 AcP) should we report them, or are there still more fixes on the way we should wait for? I have the same question as I have quests that are giving me 10 ACP (much as I'd like that....)
Congratulations to all the new five stars and O.J. for his campaign coin but I have to give a special call out to Eleanor Jenner the SF Bay Area's newest 5 star GM. She gives so much to our community as both a GM and VA and giving up the whole of yesterday (7 hours anyway) to a bunch of unruly folks to run us through Sevenfinger's Sails.

I have been thinking all day about what I want to do. I am not finding PbP particularly enjoyable for the card game. Most of my enjoyment of the game and PACG comes from the interaction around the table, something that is very difficult online especially where we are seperated by so many time zones. I really only have about 4 hours in the evening to post. I have been trying to post in the morning this week where it's been needed to move the game along but it is very disruptive for me. I believe I would prefer to just let the timer tick and end the scenario. I do not believe I am interested in replaying it as a PbP especially at the moment as I will have little time over the next few weeks. I may try again but I think I would prefer people be in the same time zone or close so that the time zones cause less problems. I will write down my observations from this game and post them this weekend as I know you are looking to improve how PbP ACG is done. Thanks for letting me dip me toes in the water of the online gaming arena.

Turn 16 Tup looks over at Ranzak and says,"you've got this" and runs off to the woods to clear the path for Urgraz. On her way there his path is blocked by a fearsome Ogre. Tup's not sure he can do this but he decides to be brave and chase off the Orge. Combat 14: 1d12 + 2 + 2d4 ⇒ (10) + 2 + (3, 4) = 19 Somewhat to his suprise the Ogre turns tails and flees. Recharge - Arcane 10: 1d12 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 and he manages to remember the spell (recharges). Tup doesn't have an explore again so he roots around and hopes for a blessing so he can go to the Shrine and neutralize it temporarily and is rewarded with the favor of a god. Tup wrote:

Pacificon (Santa Clara Marriott Sept 2-5) is just one week away and we have GMs signed up and chomping at the bit to spin some stories and throw some monsters at you. So, if you haven't signed up yet take a look at the warhorn site and choose your games. The Saturday night special still has room as do several other games. PacifiCon is the San Franciosco Bay Area's first outing of the new season and we are looking to start things off with fice, ice, earth and air (and a bang I expect). Hope to see you all there.
The Bay Area Pathfinder Society is offering PFS @ Pacificon at the Santa Clara Marriott in the sunny San Francisco Bay Area. We will be offering the new multi-table interactive special, 8-00 Cosmic Captive (15 tables). If that isn’t enough for you we have also scheduled some tables of the 2 new exclusives, 7-99 Through the Maelstrom Rift and 7-98 Serpent’s Ire and the first three season 8 scenarios 8-01 Portent's Peril, 8-02 Ward Asunder and 8-03 Captives of Toil. Didn’t manage to play during the last half of season 7? We have that for you as well! Not enough? Look at module Sunday. We have spaces at Broken Chains, The Harrowing and an Emerald Spire dive. Signup for games at the Pacificon PFS Warhorn site
With KublaCon and Free RPG Day in the past it is time to resume our travelling Monthly Game Day. July’s offering will be on July 23rd at Heretic Games in San Bruno from 11am until 8pm. Sign up for games at Heretic Games Warhorn Site We will be offering the final episode in the Citadel of Flame/Masks of the Living God/City of Golden Death trilogy. Also on the schedule are Returned to Sky, The Stranger Within, The Night March of Kalkamedes and The God’s Market Gamble. Heretic does charge players $5, but are making that the charge for the whole day rather than for just one session (and you get store credit to buy snacks etc…)so come for the whole day. Come join us for a fun day and support PFS at one of our newest stores. For those of you who can’t make it to a weekday evening game this is your opportunity to play.

..or you can grab our email from the regional coordinator's page and send us an email. We have lots of stores who run games hopefully one is close enough for you to make it.
John & Linda, thanks for getting this sanctioned. I was really hoping to be able to schedule a new module with sanctioned content at KublaCon in May. Could you give us any guidance on how long each section would take? We have 4 hour slots to fit the module play into and need to make sure that everyone can walk away with a chronicle for the sections they sign up for (if they don't sign up for all of it). We have seen some very different play times for the 64 page modules from 3 full days for Dragon's Demand in campaign mode (that was great fun), to 5 or 6 four hour slots (Tears at Bitter Manor or Plunder & Peril). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for getting this sanctioned.
A successful Dundracon 40 is now in our past (Thanks to Pirate Rob and his team) and Kublacon is only 3 months away. John and I will be running Kublacon this year but we are looking for help and input to make this a terrific event for the Bay Area Pathfinder Society. We have just been told that the Hyatt are doing some construction in our usual home (and the restaurant next door) which should give us a space that will not be divided into small rooms. We are looking for volunteers to help us pull this event off. If you can help us with any of following, or just want more information please email us. Graphic Design - we'd like to have some posters to spread out in the stores to encourage people to come and try us out
If you can help before the con with any of these tasks let us know. The next thing John and I need to do is create a schedule. If you have any requests for particular scenarios, modules or specials let us know. We don't guarantee to be able offer everything you want but we will do our best. Help us make this year's Kublacon the best yet Wendy-Ann & John Francis
Joe Ducey wrote: Awesome, James welcome to the circus. (Though Pirate Rob that's a pretty bold claim) Our Pirate Captain is bold and, of course always correct. Welcome James to the Norcal Pirate Crew, we'll see you next week at Pacificon bearing all sorts of maps to please our GMs and players. Let us hope that the Pacificon goblin doesn't decide they look good enough to BURN!!!!!!
Now that everyone has recovered from Kublacon, it is time to start thinking about our next Bay Area con. Pacificon Game Expo is on September 4th - 7th at the Santa Clara Marriott in Santa Clara (Northern California). The warhorn site is now available for GMs to sign up for GM and player slots at https://www.warhorn.net/events/pacificon-pfs Please read the front page before you start as it gives you important information that will keep your sign up running smoothly. Remember - 3 GM slots get you a free badge - DO NOT BUY A TICKET IF YOU INTEND TO GM 3 SESSIONS. As always we will be offering 10 slots of PFS fun and both the RPG (regular and CORE) and the Adventure Card Guild are featured this year. We have a special guest joining in the PFS room - Stephen Radney-MacFarland, one of Paizo's game designers, will be with us for the weekend. This year's Pacificon will have not only 2 specials featuring levels 1-11 but also two exclusive scenarios (one which can only be run by 4&5 star GMs, and one which only 5 star GMs can run). We will also be offering the last half of season 6, the first scenarios in season 7 and a refresher course in what the Aspis Consortium have tried to do to the society in the past so that you will be prepared (perhaps) for "Season 7: The Year of the Serpent". There will of course be much fun had by the Pacificon Goblin.

I'd like to add Joshua Sigman and James Anderson to that shout out as well as Pirate Rob who allowed John and me to enjoy a con weekend with no responsibilities (our work was behind the scenes before the con). ...and now on to Pacificon. Keeps your eyes out for updates from the Silicon Valley VLs soooon!!!!! Edit: Ooooh, look at the pretty shiny extra star!!!!!!
Pathfinders and Scurvy Pirates, Kublacon is beginning to appear on the horizon (Memorial Day weekend, May 22-25), and Pirate Rob and his crew invite you to a weekend of nostalgia and newness, Core and Normal, scurvy pirates plying their nefarious trade in an Italian restaurant (hmm!) and 3, yes count them, 3 specials. For those who want to test their mettle there will be Bonekeep 3 and for those who like a long story there will of course be modules. Fangwood Keep
There will be sessions of the adventure card game organized play being offered in Scalini’s, next door to our tree rooms so beware of pirates as you come to play an RPG session.
We will be offering a trip back in time to when the Shadow Lodge emerged as a force in the Pathfinder Society. Some foreshadowing with early appearances of Grandmaster Torch; a trip to Kaer Maga, and the special “Year of the Shadow Lodge’ Friday night for those of you who can make it to Burlingame after work (or just take the whole day off and join us at 2pm).
Silent Tide (Core)
We will be presenting almost all of Season 6 including the special ‘Legacy of the Stonelords’ which is featured on Sunday evening and of course the new releases that are coming out in March and April. Both of the season specials will have Core tables. Legacy of the Stonelords
There are of course some opportunities for new players and those of us who want to start a new character. Mists of Mwangi (Core)
As always, GM three slots and a free badge is yours. So give us some feedback and the warhorn site will be available for sign-ups before you can say 'Shiver me timbers arrrrgggggg' Wendy-Ann & John
Scott, congratulations on the 5th star. You were my 2nd GM for my 4th and 5th PFS game back at Dundracon 2012. You took my poor cavalier to the Edge of Heaven and then scared her (well OK not to death) with a strange clockwork contraption used to see the stars and the remnants of some poor dead guy. She was never quite the same. Thanks for a great time and I look forward to seeing you at Kublacon.
Our fearless PACG event coordinators (Roy and Dan) are now offering the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game at Game Kastle Santa Clara on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm Last week we successfully defeated the Ghosts of the Deep and are going on to hopefully not get eaten by "The Lone Shark" this week. We'd like to invite all you Pirates (and we know there must be many of you out there) to join us 'Lost at Sea' this Tuesday. If we can make a second table we could start that table at the first Adventure 'Ghosts in the Deep'. We have set up the PFS Warhorn site to include PFS ACG signups https://www.warhorn.net/events/gamekastle/schedule/2014/11 Signup or just come on down. You will need a character deck and a $2 table fee to help cover the costs of the adventure pack we are using.
