![]() Warren watches the displays with interest and when the briefing stops asks "It's hard for me to tell scale on this, how far down the track was it when the teams lost link? Is it normal to lose link that far underground? Would the dots show up even if they were dead?" He nods then says "I think that's it for now." a questioning look on his face. ![]()

![]() Warren looks at Carmichel and shakes his head, "I wouldn't piss those two ladies off any more than they already are. Their fuses are real short after what the dwarf pulled on the boat. He's going to be unconscious for a while and his troll friend isn't ever going to wake up. They are in a homicidal mood right now." ![]()

![]() Warren nods to Sir Alaryn, "Our promise was to look out for him if we came upon him, not to follow him around like a nanny. He would not have appreciated that if he found out. I am glad he was rescued though. I was and am prepared to go back in and find him if need be, I think he is too proud to use the bell." ![]()

![]() Warren nods to Sir Alaryn, "Thank you sir. I will remain here incase there is anything you need me to do. We promised your son to keep an eye out for Dart. He turned the wrong way early on and it appears we took all of the correct ways as we go here so quickly. If somehow he needs me, I will wait until he shows up at the very least." ![]()

![]() Warren manages to take some of the blast in his confused state after being put down. He blinks his eyes and looks up to Terrel, "Thank you for that. I think I would be down again. Give me a hand up would you?" Warren then moves close to receive the healing. Reflex Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 ![]()

![]() Upon entering the cavern and seeing their leaders Warren is a bit surprised and then smiles. That smiles leaves his face as their next fight begins. "Sounds good Terrel. Let's go get him, it. Move together and attack. I'll take the center." Assuming that it is 20' or less Warren moves forward. It it is more he stops at 20' and prepares an attack when the creature gets in range. ![]() Warren looks and listens, "I have a bad feeling once we get in here there is going to be trouble. Sprig, how about you and I move in together and check the cavern out? Make sure nothing is going to jump the group. If we run into trouble the others can cover us as we try an move back to the entrance." Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 ![]()

![]() Warren stands next to Ardan and looks at the ground. He then says "It looks like the way out of here is to the right but I think Dart went left. Do we do what is best for us or follow Dart? Was are promise to look after him or assist him if we came upon him in need?" ![]() Warren shakes his head and says to the centaur, "You misunderstand me. I was saying in a round about way that I have as much experience as you do underground and probably dislike it almost as much as you." He then shakes Terrel's offered hand and walks over to Ardan and offers his, "No offense taken and glad to be with you." ![]()

![]() Warren stood at attention and listened as instructions were given. When Drillmaster Ivan finished he relaxed slightly. He began to look around to see who is looking to form a group. Being a man of the farm, Warren doesn't relish going in alone. He sees Sir Terrel and Sir Ardan seeming to be looking for others. He scans the crowd for Daniel Rose to see what he is doing as he walks toward the centar and his friend. Warren addresses both Sir Terrel and Sir Ardan, "I would be glad to join with you if you would like my sword with you. This cavern must be very uncomfortable for you Terrel. I'm a farm boy and would most definitely prefer a group to journey with." Warren nervously shifts his sword from hand to hand as he speaks and occasionally fingers a chakram or his dagger. ![]()

![]() WHen I started reading this I was, "No Way!" I'm in a game using the wounds system and don't particularly like it. But, this isn't what you are doing. I'd hate to lose an eye at 1 HP but I don't know how set you are in your system. I could see this where death isn't at -con but when you fail the con check and the second d20 is high. For the second roll you have a table 1-25 or so. Roll d20 subtract Con Bonus add negative HP. 1 on the table could be: Concussion -X to mental checks for Y Days. 10: Could be lose a hand. 15 could be bleeding out, X bleed per round. 20 dead 25 decapitated. The specifics for the second roll are up to you but something with the higher the number the worse the consequence. For example your 1st level fighter with 13 HP gets critted by a scythe for 32 damage. You're at -19 and normally dead. The Con check DC is 29. You can't pass it. So just just roll d20 subtract 2 for your con mod and add 19. If death on the chart isn't until you hit 20, you would survive on a roll of 1 or 2. Not much of a chance but a chance, though you're probably horribly disfigured and maybe a vegetable. If you already have a full idea of the system, I'd give it a go but wouldn't be upset if we didn't. my 2 cents
