I'm a little upset, but not at you guys. My subscription order shipped on June 18th, and it was, as normal, trackable. The last time the tracking info was updated by UPS was on June 22, where it said it was transferring the package to USPS. Today, I contacted the South Charleston post office hub, who claimed UPS never transferred the package to them, and that I needed to contact UPS. After fighting with the automated system with UPS, which claimed to not understand the tracking info, I spoke with a customer service agent, who said that wasn't a UPS tracking number. I explained it was a UPS Mail Innvations tracking number, and the agent claimed that such a service did not exist. I then spoke to a supervisor, who said I needed to contact USPS. I told them I already did, and they said to contact UPS. She then said to contact Paizo, and you would contact UPS, which I thought was tremendously stupid since you guys have no control what happens to a package after it leaves your fulfillment center, but here I am. Is there any way you could find out what's going on with the package? I'm sorry to bring you into this. Thank you.
I am planning on starting a Return of the Runelords campaign here for Level 1 characters. I first want to thank DM Dak for the formatting for this recruitment page. About Me:
My name is Eric, and I am started role-playing when I was 9 years old. In 1979. So, yeah, I’m old. In my ‘career’ of playing RPG’s, I’ve played pretty much whatever game came my way – Basic, 1st Edition, 2nd Edition, Shadowrun, Rifts … played Palladium’s Robotech when I was in language school in the Army (I was a linguist) even played Lejendary Journeys when I was stationed overseas after training (there were TONS of solders who played RPG when I was in, and back then it wasn’t overly cool to play). I am married to a beautiful woman who also plays (she prefers 4th edition, but she plays Pathfinder as well), and I’m a father to a 10 year old who is very interested in playing. We have an on/off real life game on Saturdays, although we’re on a break right now, and that group prefers Pathfinder, so that has been what we have been doing. I run a Return of the Runelords game right now via PbP on another site, and it is going well. This will be my first game here. I hope there will be enough interest in playing. I am a story first, rules second kind of DM. I WILL make mistakes, and I hope the players that agree to be in the game will call me on them. That’s how I get better. How I run the Game:
I covered some of this above, but I am a story first. I’m also old, and my vocabulary sometimes suffers as part of my old age. I tend to be fairly straight to the point in my writing, but my wonderful wife IS a writer (and artist and she does leather tanning (traditional brain-tanned leather, and it is exactly as disgusting as it sounds, but it makes beautiful leather) I digress. I do that sometimes. Anyway, my wife will be my editor on some of my work, but I’m not a wall of text kind of writer. That doesn’t mean you can’t be, though – I love reading, and more detail you provide, I feel the better I can incorporate your background into the game. I typically will roll initiative and group saves UNLESS you request otherwise. Skill checks and individual saves I will leave to you. I will post at least once a day, and I hope that my players will at least do so as well, with the exception of the weekends. I typically will not post on weekends, but you may if you wish. Obviously real-life happens, just let me know if you can, and we can make allowances on that. I will do the same if it strikes me. Maps – we have some options. In my games on the other site, I use Maptools with coordinates included, and you simply let me know where you are moving to. I am open to using Roll20 (I have an account) if you prefer it. Just let me know how you prefer your maps.
Character Creation Guidelines:
[list] Application Guidelines: I don’t need stats right off the bat. You can do them. I know sometimes people make the character, then the personality follows, and that’s perfectly fine. I want to see the CHARACTER first – what makes him/her/it tick, what drives them. So that’s what I’m looking for. One of the campaign traits, Close Allies, requires another PC to also have it. I encourage you to talk with other players with shared history. Another campaign trait is Accidental Clone. You can take this trait, but warning first – I will take ONLY 1 character with this trait for the game. Here’s what I’m looking for. You can format the application any way you want, but this is the gyst of what I want: Name
Three Questions Answered: They should be answered in the character’s voice. 1. What was the most important event in your life?
