Fazgyn slips into the room and looks over Pethjun's shoulder at the accumulated goodies. "hmmm... looks like fun? How about we share?"
He peers around the cavern, head slowly twisting back and forth for further surprises.

Satisfied that Vanarog is ack to his usual grouchy self, Fazgyn moves ahead with Pethjun to inspect the next room.
Fazgyn steps out from behind the stalagmite as Skyrahk moves up to heal the over done lizard-kin. He grins to Pethjun and gives her a small bow as the golden glow of healing magics flow over Vanarog. "Wellll.." he draws out. "I did miss the trap.." he says somewhat abashed. "But thankfully only Vanarogs pride is hurt! .. Maybe his robes too." With a bit of a snicker, he too moves to the next opening.
Fazgyn hears the click of the trap being sprung and dives down into the soot behind a handy stalagmites. He peers over the edge of the rock to see a super crispy Vanarog lying smoking in the dust.
Good with moving, but no opinion on either site as I have never used them.
Fazgyn shakes his head at the lying little goober and looks appreciatively at Vanarogs acid splash across the goblins backside. "Good shot!" he chortles, flashing a smile towards the sorcerer. Carefully, he slips off into the darkness before returning to the companions.
Fazgyn moves back to the hot floored room and slides inside, moving along the wall. He scuffs through the accumulated ash, stiffling a cough as the dust rises.

I have adamantly refused to pick up any more games until my life settles out, and I too am trying to get ready for Gen Con myself. I also think that this group has been really freaking awesome and I would not want to break it up in any way. I will gladly wait for you, GM Hmm!
Fazgyn quickly loses interest in the sniveling creature and begins rummaging through the dead goblins to see what might be found there. Once this has been completed, he posts himself at the door to the cavern, waiting for the rest of his team and keeping a lookout for surprises! When we are ready to go!: Fazgyn fades into the shadows, blending in with his natural environment. He is the shadow itself.. seeing all but never seen himself!
Fazgyn towers over the little goblin, blood soaked blades dripping on the stone floor.
Fazgyn takes a step to the side, trying to pin the cowardly goblin down for the fight. His blades flash once more, hoping for redemption for his earlier blindness! The first misses so very wide.. not off to a good start! But then the desperate kobold swings in his second sword, crowing with triumph as blood sprays from the wound he inflicts!
Fazgyn leaps from the darkness, shredding his foe into bits of stinking meat. "Goblins not even real fight!" he calls over the backs of the goblins and to his companions. "Thats why I let them in.. I knew you could fight them and I could hit from behind!!"
I'm supposed to be the sneaky minion!! Now, they'll take my title away!! he thinks desperately and dejectedly! He puts on a good talk, but the idea that his friends are hurt because of him shakes him badly.
Fazgyn takes on of the amulets, and after a sniff or two of it, hangs it around his neck. "Our thanks, Duskwarden. Lead on!" Once in the tunnels, Fazgyn tries to fade into the shadows, moving ahead of the group to scout the path.
Fazgyn follows along the others, tolerating the jabbering softscale but enjoying the effects he has on some of the other members of the party. As they reach the troll, he first grabs for his sword, then giggles at the "joke" on James, before reeling backwards in disgust and revulsion as she cuts her stomach.
At the office of the Duskwardens, he finally breaks his silence.
Fazgyn fades back into the group to see the absolute chaos that has resulted from turning the other kobolds loose on the unsuspecting populous. "I did't do too bad.. not near bad as some of you!!" he exclaims, uncharacteristically and awkwardly patting a crying child on the head (Completely oblivious as the child cowers in terror from the monster touching it!). "Come. Lets see what we have all learned!"
Fazgyn disappears into his meal, eating with gusto. He listens as the others describe what they know.. but his own skills are not much use above the ground and out of the tunnels of his home. 'So, We talk to the Auger people, and talk to the duskwardens, and talk to the warren people. We talk to everyone.. on our way into these tunnels of the half light looking for these lost people. Then we get access to the tunnels, right?" As the team descends into the warrens, he keeps his ears open and asks one or two polite questions. Luckily, it seems that even rough edged Fazgyn is able to learn a few manners, as he seems to get along well with those he encounters.
Fazgyn jumps back as the great and mighty (mysterious) hats charges past him to places unknown. "OI!! What the--" he starts, looking down the dust trail rising from the creature. He gazes around in wonder as they pass through the different rings, returning open stares with one of his own. Reaching the bar, he give the place a look from under squinting brows. "Looks good enough. Maybe some good food here?" Pushing through the doors he is surprised by the synchronized movements of the reaction! His shortswords clear the scabbards with smooth practiced motions, readying for the attack. He takes pause though, as one of the locals tries to calm the situation. He looks cautiously around as the rest of the tavern returns to thier night, and slowly slides his own weapons away too. At the mans introduction, he gives a short nod in return. "I am Fazgyn.. trapmaker of the group. That is one way to welcome supposed friends. But I will take your meal and ale.."
Fazgyn tries to keep a steely glare on the newcomer, but bursts into outright laughter at the mishaps of Vanarog the Weak Tongued. "HA! You wouldn't know taste if it walked up and bit you!!" he guffaws. Turning to the vendor, he flips a gold coin through the air to the man. "that was truly the most entertainment I have had so far this trip!! " he says before turning back to the possible captive. "We are looking for Halman Wright of the Freemen. Have you heard of him?"
Fazgyn hisses in alarm as the busy city warps in around him and he is suddenly accosted by the sights, sounds, and smells of human civilization. As the hoomman darts in and begins to interject himself into the party, he looks over to Skyrhak and hisses in draconic "Can I make him disappear?? Please??"
Fazgyn tags along at the back of the pack, and watches bemusedly as the little softscale stares intently at the hat wearing tentacle. As they get moving once more, He gives Pethjun a toothy grin at the mention of exploring and trapping the area for the Pathfinders. "That would be a wonderful time.. So much we could do here.. and there.. and tunnels.." his voice trails off into mutters and plans, his eyes going wide as ideas pour in. Suddenly he gives a shake and returns his attentions to the little softscale. "What enemies, yes.. but what goal too? We look for lost soft scales first, but what do we do with them if we find them? And when do we get to explore the new tunnels?"
Fazgyn bares his fangs at the idea of more talking. "We tried much talking last time we helped the Pathfinders, and still we fought lots of nasties and managed to employ very devious slow fangs. I am sure this will be much of the same.. we try to talk, but they will not respect us until we make them." He finishes this statement with a happy snarl of glee. "For once, Vanarog is right.. Lets get some food before we leave! I want to see him slosh up again like he did last time!!"
Sneaky Minion slouches into the meeting, keeping his eyes and ears open, but his back to a wall and standing in the shadows. He hisses with amusement as he considers this newest mission. "New tunnels to explore, and new quick fangs to set! And a mystery on top of it!! This is going to be fun!!"
Bandwidth on the boards is open.. personal life has been rough. If everyone else is ready though, no need to hold up on account of me. We can kick off any time.
This Sounds fun.. but like Poblano said, I think that this could get ugly pretty quickly as well. I will have to wait until we are done so I can see everything. Personally, my problem would be that I am not all that great at "sandbox" yet. I would like to think I have gotten better at adapting to the surprises my players throw at me, but to have an entire scenario as a sandbox would stress me out I think. But, once again, it all depends on how it is written too!I think that one of the things that trips me out about sandbox is that I rarely feel prepared. I am very detail oriented so it stresses me out when a player asks about or tries something and when I look through the scenario or whatever, there may as well be a giant grey fog, you know?
I do apologize for miscounting there! Yes, -14 is correct for him! 9 different arcs?!?! Geez! Now I want to dig in and read it to see how its laid out, but I will refrain until after we play! How big of a mess is that to sit down and figure out as a GM??
Would anyone be interested in a Minions reunion after OutPost? The rumor is that on the chronicle for this adventure, we get the ability to use our kobold pregen once more, if we could use a normal level 4 pregen. It would be really neat to keep the same group together and play a normal scenario as kobolds. If the Great Lady in Red, Storytelling Minion Extraordinaire is not able to GM for us again, we can look for someone. That sounds like an amazing time!! I am definitely in for that.
I don't know how, but I seem to have completely missed this update somewhere along the line!! In that case:And in answer to some of your questions above, GM, I would like to say that I took a great deal away from watching you roll this out. First and foremost, I took away the enjoyment of a good game with good people. I have really enjoyed this group!
Alarmed by the attention and the praise, Fazgyn tries to push back to the rear, but encounters solid wall.. for once there is nowhere for him to disappear to!!
Fazgyn takes exception, as does everyone else, to Vanarogs rampant egotism , but grins slyly as the rest of the team puts him back in his place. He spends the rest of the time at the back of the group, but his jaw does drop open in awe of the great shadow dragons power and majesty in throwing the great scale so far! The Queen returns her attentions to the True Dragons, and Fazgyn eventually steps forward with a deep bow. "You are very powerful.. I think that "Sneaky Minion" would love a chance to explore your realm.. after my territory is secure. I shall return soon!" Fazgyn says to her.
Fazgyn stands back, wiping his blades clean before resheathing them. "Well fought. That was much easier than I expected!!!" he exclaims. Carefully he looks about the room for anything interesting while Skyrahk takes the scale.

I would love to say that I didn't mention this earlier due to waiting to see if those crits confirmed, but honestly, I completely forgot about it!! Anyways, Fazgyn has Debilitating Injury that can be applied to his confirmed Crits. If you would allow the late application, I would like to use Disoriented: The target takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls. In addition, the target takes an additional –2 penalty on all attack rolls it makes against the rogue. If you feel it is too late, that is fine too!!
Fazgyn just about grins his head off as his blades sink to their hilts in the dragon. "You attacked our home, we attack your home. Fair, right?!" He waits until Pethjun makes her first attack before he darts in on the distracted dragons other side!
No more Hidey!!: Fazgyn leaps forward, blades whistling through the air as he suddenly becomes visible just before his blades land!
Fazgyn cowers back from the ball as the dragon comes into view. After contact is broken, he looks to his companions and says "Sneaky minion is not able to use any cure spells," he says, taking his new nickname to heart. "But I like the idea of sneaking in behind it. How long will your no-see-um spell work, Skyrhak?" As the spell settles over him, he takes out the remaining vials of poison from his pack and covers his blades in Giant Wasp Poison. Once this is done, he slides the blades back into their sheaths and waits impatiently for the go. "What signal is the attack signal? Or do I just attack when everyone is close?" he asks of the group.
Fazgyn follows the rest into the banquet hall. He is uncomfortable under the bright lights, but he does enjoy the deep red of the illusionary dragons soaring through the hall. He eats everything in sight.. except of course the meat covered in the disgusting Fungi.. The next morning he wakes rested and ready to get this over with. He follows their guide until he stops abruptly and Fazgyn nearly bumps into him. He winces as the waves of anguish crash over him. "We will return the favor to the Onyx People as a favor for you hospitality, and in retribution for their invasion of our home!" Fazgyn tells the insectoid as it fades from view. Turning to view their goal, his tongue flicks out between pointed teeth in anticipation as he assesses the tower. "No, thank you." he says as Vanarog offers a tap of the wand. As the rest of the group signals they are ready, he moves forward to take point and stays about 20 feet in front of the team as they descend. Reaching the odd room, he darts around the corner and dives for the shadows as he draws his blades.
"Its been a long day, meat would be a great idea!!!" Fazgyn says, flicking his long tongue over his draconic maw and sharp teeth.
Fazgyn nods at the telepathic reply. As he spends more time in this odd conversation with no negative effects, he is slowly relaxing. "As you say then. Where is this creature's lair?"
Fazgyn cycles through several emotions as the conversation goes on. At the end, he pipes in "Could we not just go to Argrinyxia herself and tell her what has happened? She can take her broodling in hand, close the portal, and all without angering any great masters.. All while serving all of our purposes."
Fazgyn recoils, grabbing for his blades as the creature steps out of nowhere to appear in their midst. His reaction turns to considering flight as the voice speaks in his head. He is just about at the point of gibbering when the knight catches his attention. Wide eyed, Fazgyn shrugs in confusion at the man, then immediately forgets him as the other party rides off. As the voice in his head explains itself, he begins to relax a bit but is still completely freaked out by this new sensation. He watches thankfully as Skyrahk takes the creature off to the side, away from him.
Fazgyn looks at the newcomers suspiciously.. but seeing as how they aren't asking about the portal they came through, he can't see how they would be too much of a threat. "I don't know where it is. Have you seen the Light Weavers?"
Fazgyn looks on, weirded out completely by the scene before him. "Light hurts Sewer dragons eyes.. why would these creatures do that?!" he mutters to the others. After watching for another moment, he tentatively approaches the creatures. "You. What are you doing?? That doesn't hurt?!"
Fazgyn looks around at the alley, then passes it from his mind. Much more concerning is where he is and what is going on! Tentatively, he ventures out into the crowds, asking questions and basking in the sudden welcome that he could never expect to see on the material plane! Hmm.. no need for slow fangs here.. but so much NEW in all this. So many things to explore! He is almost giddy in the chance to not only walk through "Absalom" freely, but to explore this new place. As he moves among the townsfolk, he asks questions of his hosts, and they seem more than willing to help him along. Returning to his team, he says "There is a big fight between the leader, Argrinyxia, and her spawn. We may be looking for a scale of the umbral dragon that is powering this.. or we can go directly to the source and seek out this Argrinyxia and let her know what her kid is doing! Maybe she can close this thing and leave our tunnels alone!" Turning to Engashez, he continues. "We should be careful of which of those two we try to talk to. The spawn that may have started all of this is allied with the Onyx faction. We need to either see the Light Weavers."
I am sorry for your loss. You have my condolences!
Fazgyn watches gleefully as the last invader is cut down. Standing before the portal, he glances to the others and then steps through at Skyrahks encouragement. "To Keep any other invaders out, we have to close this! Follow me!" He steps through the portal, swords leading the way. As he feet touch the other side, he crouches defensively and peers about him.

"Surrender or you die!!!" Fazgyn leers at the woman, leaving no question as to which option he hopes she chooses. She falls back to engage Athrax but Fazgyn keeps the pressure up.
