Somehow an arc of electricity surged across the room and hit Voxx square in the chest...he'd been keeping an eye out for wayward Shadows.

Probably can't give Aid in something you have no ranks in ....so Voxx is pretty useless in this situation...

Voxx smiles as his armor protects him, and smiles even wider when the shadow pops back through the wall, striking out at the shadowy adversary...

He nods his appreciation to Gorn as the other warrior hits the shadow with a blast.

Activating his sword, Voxx moves to finish off the shadow...

Voxx chuckles at Takeda's joke, even if it wasn't one. He follows the others into the room, looking about suspiciously.

When the hologram activates , Voxx's sword is in his hand in a flash. But, when he sees that's its a harmless computer projection, he shakes his head and chuckles at himself.

Then he crosses his arms and waits for someone smarter talk to the holo.

I guess it's just been my experience if someone's absent for a period of time, and they want to stay in the game, the GM bots them in combat and when their skills fill a particular need.

I think there have been a few comments about wishing EK was back. In game , he never left, we're just not using him.

Continuing to growl in frustration, Voxx targets the big crazy with his Laser Net....

As the ships jockeyed for position in 3 dimensions, Voxx had to wait for the opportunity to fire as ships passed with his arcs of fire...

With a growl, Voxx sees his missile salvo miss the big ship entirely. Reaching over he makes some adjustments to the firing servo, then happy ,fires again...

Voxx frowns as he sees none of the wonderful graphics indicating impacts on the other ships, but he does see the New Laser score a hit!

Then as expected their adversary fires upon the Sledgehammer, and Voxx responds with his own lazery defense!

His grin gets wider as one of the fighters gets knocked out of commission, his fingers flying across the controls as the bigger vessel maneuvers..."Yer not getting away..."

Targeting reports a lock and the missiles are away once again...

Voxx settles into the Gunner pod for the forward minimissle batteries, poking buttons and glowing indicators until all is just like he likes it.

He listens in on the ship wide tac-net, as his ship-mates do their thing...

Then getting the go ahead, he cracks his knuckles and lets loose with the missiles...

Seeing that the space alien had become , for now, a non-threat, Voxx sheathes his sword and takes his seat once again.

He watches EH-RK pilot the ship, he's a fair hand at steering a ship, but seems the android knows a thing or two he doesn't.

When the creature had manifested , Voxx's sword escaped it's sheath with a hiss...

Maxim's diplomatic effort forestalls his assault, however. He stands ready , his teeth clenched, waiting for his moment to attack.

Voxx greets the other Vesk informally, joking with him about making officer. As the tour of the ship continues, he asks the officer "So, how many spacers on standby...might need some crew on this bad boy!"

Later he shrugs at Willow's question, "I'm no spacer, but whenever I've been a passenger on one of these, I bunked in the cargo bay...it not a hoity toity yacht that's for sure!"

Voxx grabs his slate from his kitbag, and begins typing an official communique to his Clan Elders:

Voxx listens and watches as his new comrades talk about money and ships...then Maxim's friend shows up and starts talking about books and vids and insurance and crowdfunding...and Voxx's head starts to hurt.
