"Slinking it is then..." Vorgen dispatches a batsman to gather his gear and arrives at the shuttle. Shuttle or Guncutter? We have both correct? Assuming shuttle. "Welcome to the good ship Atalanta. Departing for a short cruise amongst the myriad moons on our way to Egaria Omega. Release docking clamps." Pilot check target 40: 1d100 ⇒ 90. I should have gone into accountancy.

Do we know anything about the Witch-Cursed world? "Ah, well we know where we are at least. One of the safe stations on the way to Footfall." Vorgen consults readouts "Not much here.... cold... dead... Remains of an atmosphere now frozen solid. Not much of a vacation spot. We could orbit it a few times while we check the engines and Geller field. Give the etherics a workout trying to find anything down there." Hmmm both the trophy room and the temple sound good to me. Could we use a couple more light craft? Best to have a spare in case we loose our ride home some time. Also can we get actual non-crew troops, hire mercs or something? Useful and impressive. If that is out of reach how about some decent armor and weapons for the crew or a least a segment of them. Will post personal acquisitions later tonight. Suggestions happily accepted.

Just trying to get this beast out of the cloud so we can strip her without having to worry about too many micro-meteorites. All fluff really. You will note Vorgen's run down of functional systems pretty much precluded recovering the ship. Spine severed, etherics dead etc.. Over ships vox. This is Vorgen Alph on the bridge of the Emperors Bounty. The ship is back under control. Navigator Orden is at rest and the device that enslaved him is destroyed. Many good shipmates died here but this nightmare is over.
By vox to the Adament Will: "This is Vorgen Alph. We have control of the Bounty and will be exiting the cloud shortly. There are survivors on board so please have medical and salvage teams ready. Bounty out." Though broken and battered the Emperor’s Bounty is still a majestic sight as she exits the cloud. Coming to her final rest along side the Adamant Will she seems almost relaxed, happy that her duties are done. Her running lights extinguished she seems to sleep as the salvage crews swarm around her.

For my part I was suprised at how easy the warped navi went down. I mean it was a lucky shot but not that lucky. Also there was never a feeling of real threat. Perhaps if the navi beat one or two of us to jelly before we managed a way out of the bridge in the first fight, or tried to take over our navigator? All in all a good introduction and I am looking forward to more.

"Sorry, got distracted. Short of it is the Bounty will never make it out of the graveyard, but we can use the attitude jets and careful atmosphere venting to move out of the local debris field. Especially if the Will clears the way with a few pot-shots." Not sure how long you want this drawn out but Vorgen wants to bring the ship out of the debris field to make salvaging easier. If we can use the drives then great otherwise getting the survivors out, pointing the ship in the right direction and venting a couple kilometers worth of atmosphere out a single voidlock as reaction mass should get the bounty free of the local field. The Will matches vector, slings across an umbilical or twenty, and Bob's your uncle.

"Well the cannon would have saved time...And they can still be useful...."
"Lord Captain. We have power. Attitude control, functioning. Leaking atmosphere but nothing we can't take. Weapon control disabled but the guns themselves appear to be working. Auspex, oh dear that is bad. Etherics badly damaged. Minimal manuvering will be fine but anything more and she'll be flying blind. Speaking of manuvering we have full engine power. Geller field is functioning but only at emergency levels." Vorgen consults a sreies of readouts. Crosschecking to verify the results before turning to Silus with a grave expression. "This is not good. There is extensive structural damage, both the spine and skin supports are severed. The Bounty will never fly again. If we put any real stress on her we will end up with half a ship." Returning to the controls Vorgen continues

The bloody multiple hits table is next to the full-auto action. and you are correct it is a second leg hit Watching the walking dead approach with a level gaze Vorgen raises his bolt pistol and takes a careful single shot at what was once the navigator. It's all good DM. Vorgen and Alessunder just have differing priorities. Civility will be maintained. There is one thing though. Widgeon did violate a direct order by reattaching the Father William to the Bounty. Vorgen will be quite upset when he learns this has happened.
