Violet folds her arms behind her head and leans back, as if Rose’s palm is a sofa cushion and her fingertips form a headrest.

As Rose disembarks, Violet flies alongside, whispering, ”Are you really cured, Rose?”
Violet thinks Falling Silk is an interesting title.
Violet throws her arms up in (mock) frustration. ”I said ‘please.’ Can a smart boat not appreciate manners?”
”And where would that be, under water?”
Violet says to the ship, ”May we please come aboard?”
Violet isn’t sure how to help, but she attempts to create an illusion after Rose and Garrosh have both attacked. Anyone inside it will see swirling violet lights. Those outside will see none of the illusion.
Violet moves over the water, beckoning to Rose. She readies her wand.
Violet blasts the captain, then flits behind Winter.
Also, is Piotr down but still *here?* Violet will hit him with the wand, if so!
Could he 5’step north to get healed and not block Rose’s attacks?
If Piotr backs up, Violet grabs onto to his shoulder to hitch a ride and heals him.
Violet immediately flies to Winter.
”Sorry… it’s the best I can do.”
Violet uses her healing wand on Rose.
I didn’t move Violet on the map, so just assume she’s flying straight up. (80’ flight speed!)
Violet flies to Rose, healing her from a safe-ish distance.
Violet is about to tell Rose that pajama day is cancelled, but there’s really no point swapping a purple nightie for a purple dress. She gets her healing wants back.
Violet loves her outfit—so soft and silky, back bare to accommodate her wings! It even comes with an undergarment in fairy size! “The dream has changed then? I guess there’s only one way to find out.” She flutters over the the cabin’s door handle… aaaaand sits on the huge thing. “Umm… if one of you will do the honors?”
Violet flies out to look!
…but her mind can’t seem to bounce from reading books to reading the enemy!
Violet will get back to her research after helping Tiff.
When Violet learns Tiff is foiled by the language barrier, she happily volunteers her services. “I love to read, Tiff! Yes, the written word is like a window into the author’s heart, mind and soul. No language can confound me!”
Yes! Definitely!
“Rainbows are pretty,” she reasons.
Violet is ready to move forward, but just to make sure, she asks, ”We can go around the creepy bathtub monster, right?”
Violet tries to understand. “Not whole?” She considers the Yellow King’s words and also Rose’s dream, and tries to piece the puzzle together…
“Then maybe we should wait another day,” Violet says with a shudder. “If her mind can even hold out that long.”
Violet says of Rose, “I am not confident she can shake off this curse. Do any among us know such magic?”
Weird. I posted Rose first, then Violet, but Violet’s post appears ahead of Rose’s.
Violet can feel something is wrong. It’s not Rose’s usual nightmare.
Violet grumbles, “We should bypass that thing… definitely!”
Failing that, she steps five feet and crouches behind an empty tub, hoping that in all the commotion the creature will not discover her…
“Awww, not again! What kind of dreamland is this? Why can’t we dream up a piano, have it fall on the… bathtub… and catch fire?” Violet calms herself. Regains her composure… “Sorry. Just upset about Blossom. Shall we wake then?”
Violet whimpers as Blossom is taken out of the dream. “No… not her!” She looks about to see who needs her healing most…
Oh crud, I think I lost track of what round we were on. Poor Blossom! Not that Violet’s healing would have been enough. I thought Blossom was still at full HP… but that was two rounds ago.
She uses her innate magic to heal Blossom.
“Clever girl… I like how you think, Ann!”
Yes, I was hoping Tiff would roll for this! Easter prep slowed me.
“I’ll be okay, Rose. I’ll give myself a couple whacks with the wand when I get into the dreamland.”
Violet giggles. “You’ll be fine. She’s crazy like my Rose. Y’know—fun crazy, not witches-and-liches crazy.”
Violet pats Rose’s shoulder which seems to quiet her down. “I’ll lead the ritual when everyone’s ready. I know with you involved, Tiff, it’ll go even more smoothly than the first time.” She then flutters close to Blossom. “Oh, you got yourself a new big person! You two will be amazing together!”
Violet blushes as she replies to Tiff. “Oh, I’m okay… I mean I’m not a real wizard, just a humble fai—“
Violet says, “I believe Tiff can help with the ritual so the stairs don’t zap me this time.” When the time is right, Violet will gladly guide Tiff—or let her lead the ritual if she can. Violet points out some dog-eared pages…
Violet takes a berry in both her tiny hands. She takes a bite and says, “I need to wake up. Either Tiff is awake and of sound mind or…” Violet takes another bite. “Never mind the or part. Garrosh, I think it is best we wake. Tiff can’t perform the ritual alone even though she’s probably considerably smarter than I am. It’s not possible to perform it alone. “Our bodies may be unharmed when we wake, so please… enjoy a berry first. Because these really are so juicy and tangy and sweet, Blossom.” Violet savors the flavor before concentrating to wake up.
Violet reminds the group, “Tiff said ‘tactical retreat.’ I believe she knows she can wake herself. And I know if that thing kills you, you’ll be as good as dead. “Either wake up, or back up… Tiff’s only hope is she saved herself.” Violet withdraws.
Violet heals her.
Violet answers Rose aloud, “Uh… it’s weakness? Hit it really hard?”
Violet’s inquiring mind attempts to answer.
“Aw, great! TIFF?!” Violet zips behind Rose and gives Tiff a whack with the healing wand.
