@Mathmuse, thank you so much for your thorough explanation.

The main point for me is: the value numbers are defined on the event that causes the conditions.

There is no general rule and it's not an arbitrary number I can select at will.

How do I add a value to a condition like clumsy?
I know for instance, that the ENFEEBLE spell, determine the values for the enfeebled condition.
I couldnt find a place in the rules for the generation of these values.

But I dont see any rules prohibiting it. It would yield less benefits as most are redundant."

You are right, and I agree. The idea came from my confusion, but it's more clearer now.

Still, I believe a step by step definition on the rules (or a sample) could have avoided that. Or maybe I'm slow :)

Let's take a half-elf (now Ayuvarin)) as an example:
To build it, I have to choose Elf as ancestry and Ayuvarin as an heritage?
Or should I choose Human Ancestry and Ayuvarin Heritage?

Or both are valid choices?

You pick a human and ancestry and the ayuvarin heritage. I think it works exactly like it did before except more ancestries can take the half elf heritage now.

Thank you.

At level 1 you pick an Ancestry (such as human), and from your Ancestry, you pick one heritage and one ancestry feat.

Heritages are basically stuff you were born with, or that you had to spend your whole life prior to becoming an adventurer to learn. They can be things like being a subspecies of goblin, like the tailed monkey goblins or the blue-skinned frostfur goblins.

Ancestry Feats are things you learn that are special for your Ancestry. You can learn them later on in your career; a Heritage is something you could only get at level 1.

For humans, "Half-Elf" and "Versatile" are both heritages, so you can have only one of them.

Normally, at level 1, you don't get any General feats, but if you happened to take Versatile Heritage, you would get one.

Normal humans only get to learn Human ancestry feats. The main benefit of half-elves is that you also get to choose from Elf (and Half-Elf) ancestry feats.

So your choice is basically: full human to get more feats, or half-elf to get more choice.

Thank you so much, Ascalaphus, for such a clear explanation!

I'm confused with Versatile Heritage, and I'm trying to build a half-elf. Does Versatile Heritage allows you to have 2 feats at the first level? Can a half-elf choose from Human, Elf and half-elf feats, so how does it work alongside Versatile Heritage? Could someone give me an example?
