Upon some further reflection I do think it's best if I simply bow out. My lack of posting is no one's fault by my own, and I apologize for my inadequacies during this campaign. I wish you all the best of luck on this campaign, and I hope to see you around the boards!
Perhaps that is best given my track record. I think you're doing a great job GM, and the story definitely has my attention, but I think I've utterly failed in my character creation. I made a dwarven bard who's all about making jokes...but beyond that has no character at all. I don't even know how to build bards very well.
I've definitely not been doing my part. I think it's my own fault, I've never cared much for bards and I'm not very invested in the character.
I will be mostly unavailable this entire week. I am volunteering as a camp counselor and the only free time we get is a little bit in the late evening before we go to sleep. I may be able to slip in some small posts during that time, but I wouldn't count on much. Apologies for the short notice, and please DMPC me as needed.
"I do not work midnights." Vingold says as he looks longingly back at his bed.
Vingold stands and draws his whip. "Whuzhapening?" He slurs as he blinks and looks around.
As a heads up to everybody in all of my games, I will be having a drastic schedule change for the summer. I am no longer working a normal 9-5 job (don't worry I didn't get fired, it was an internship position that ended), and instead will be only working on the weekends. I will not be able to post at all most weekends, expect maybe some quick posts late at night. During the week I should be able to post very often, perhaps not quite as much later in the day. Also I will be spending quite a bit of the upcoming summer doing some world traveling, which will mean frequent vacations where I will most likely not be posting. I will let everybody know when I will be gone. Speaking of which, I will be gone this Monday through Wednesday. I can possibly sneak some quick posting in at night, but I wouldn't count on much. However as a general note, my posting amount should generally increase since I will have a lot of free time during the week. Thank you everybody for your understanding, and happy gaming!

"I'm all good, how about everybody else?" Vingold says as he pulls out his healing wand.

I'm playing in a gestalt Kingmaker campaign, and my animal companion has a naked AC of 37 at level 13.
Vingold looks at the crap splattered on the ground. "Huh. That's what your brains will look like soon."

Nice! How much money did we each get to work with?
Forget the cloak of resistance, give it to a frontliner. How are we doing hp?
I have returned! Vingold will take any unclaimed magic consumables like potions and scrolls. With a trained UMD he can use anything. Also the cloak of resistance. I'll try to get leveled up and claim the loot tonight.
I will be away on vacation and completely without internet until Thursday. Please DMPC as needed.
Vingold tries for another trip!
"Woaaahhhh." Vingold abandons his magical onslaught of the boss and rushes to Hinata's side, with a touch cloaking her in invisibility.
Vingold laughs and hits the leader with ill omen again.
Vingold smirks at the leader. "Performance issues?"
Take care of yourself Poe. There will always be a seat here for you.
Vingold takes out a wand, pointing it at the leader. He barks a laugh at Hinata. "Show them what being rock-headed means!"
"Knew I shoulda laid off the second helping." Vingold says, patting his stomach unhappily as their cover is blown.
If the door proves still stubborn, Vingold waddles up with his tools to coax it open.
Vingold grumbles and waddles up to Yizzik, handling the wounds. Vingold spends a few minutes on the door, then grumbles and spits. "Ain't happening, it's unpickable."
Vingold grumbles. "I suppose I can't sleep with this one either?"
Vingold checks the door for traps, then if the key doesn't work sets to opening the lock.
"She was a nasty one. Vile. Tried ta get me to do things to her. By Torag, ya couldn't convince me to do that even if ya paid me in mithral!" He chuckles. "Yer all bloody mad." Vingold says with a roll of his eyes.
"You all went and attacked a lady I was courting and I'm tha one in tha wrong?" He rubs some of her brains off his boot. "Talk about a cockblocker."
Vingold goes for another trip!
"By the holy mug!" Vingold moves away to let the others clean up.
Vingold peers up through his eyebrows. "There are no other dwarves like me. Family and friends alike will testify to that truth. But if you want to skip the courtesies, fine. My companions and I will need to discuss this for a moment. Privately."
"Well, perhaps a table to start, some chairs or stumps or something to sit on? Well at least some mead damnit." He says, conjuring his own mug out of thin air it seems.
Vingold goes up as if to kiss her on the cheek, then puts a finger there instead. "But! As we have been discussing, my company comes at a price. Come, let us break bread and drink mead like civilized people and discuss what it is we wish to bargain with, be it gold or favors or company."
Vingold shuffles his way into the room, and scans across the fey woman, the undead, and his uneasy companions. As tensions subtly rise, Vingold steps forward and gives the woman a long look from head to toe. Then he smiles his mischievous "This will make a hell of a story" smile and takes her hand, kissing it with whiskered lips. "Tiss a pleasure, truly. If my companions are of a deal striking mood, I'd love to be the company you so desire."
I apologize for the silence, I had 4 days off the grid that surprised me. I'll catch up tonight.
Vingold gives a belly chuckle. "Stirring up trouble and whatnot."
"I got it lass." Vingold shuffles up to the door and takes a knee with a grunt, taking out his lockpicking kit. "Might be a minute."
