Viluf grins as his brother patches him up before gripping the smaller Wolf by the shoulders and jostling him around playfully. "Yeh kept the others alive while I was busy I see? Good lad good lad!" He turns and begins to examine the hole in the ground. "Well that is another of us gone. Do ya ever feel like we are losin Spacemarines like flies here? Two in less than a day just up and POOF disappear. And then the Blood Angel pops out o nowhere like a jack in the box. This planet is weird!"

Sorry, I was away for the weekend. Viluf frowned at first but grinned at Gaius when he gave his speech. He moved after them all with as much speed and force as he could manage, but not able to take part in the group charge tactic due to the weight of his weapon. As they approach, he set down a wall of fire, clicking to Hellfire rounds, hoping to aid the charge. 60 BS+10 Full Auto(+10 if I can move in behind some cover as I fire too)1d100 ⇒ 46 DoS / 7 DoS if Unmovable Warrior is in effect. 2d10 + 10 ⇒ (7, 4) + 10 = 21-17X, Pen 6, Blast(3)

Viluf stood there stunned for a moment before sighing. "In a Squad we usually let the Scout lead the way..." Viluf patted Reinald on the shoulder, pushing him along in front of him. "I'll watch our six. You make sure the new laddie doesn't get his head blown off or summat!"

Viluf grins, reaching up to scratch his cheek and frowning. "He is like a little red statue standin like that. And raining from the sky and all. Is there any more of ya out there boyo?" He glanced at Einar and nodded slightly, happy with the fact his Brother was covering the interloper with his weapon. Viluf himself had his Heavy Bolter resting a mere twitch away from bisecting the Marine, if he so chose.

"There's an old tale I heard when I was a lad, about a young wolf who leaves for his first hunt but comes home empty handed because the Rabbits have learned to climb. It is a tale meant to teach us to expect the unexpected from our enemy. But at the same time, it should also teach us to f#&$ing look up. Enemy above!" With that he swung his Bolter up and sprayed an arc of fire up towards the genestealer. 60BS + 10Full Auto1d100 ⇒ 65

Einar is not with the group, he is currently scouting ahead of us and communicating by mic, right? Or am I wrong? Viluf turned to stare at the Apothecary before grinning. "'Viluf did you accidentally shoot the Apothecary?' No Captain, I did not. It was the enemy. I swear!" he gripped his bolter tightly, before nodding. "Aye what you say makes sense. The way I see it we should not leave Einar alone however. Having the enemy sneak up on our Scout ain't the best way to keep him alive. And we work well together. If one of yeh has the range ability over me however yeh can go with him instead. Just know he is intolerable after awhile!" He laughed, spitting through his teeth. "I can provide the cover fer ya from that angle, give me a better coverage of the area. I'll gun em down!"

"I'm all muddied up but I'd say we should head for that fighting. See if we can't get a sit-rep from some friendlies!"

Viluf gripped the Heavy Bolter tight as he pushed his way out of the Pod, moving forward slowly, scanning the area with a cursory glance. He frowned, tilting back his head and taking a deep breath in through his nose, before growling and moving forward, towards the door. He stopped a few steps out of the door and enticed his weapon to life, stating out in to the streets keeping his eyes peeled for any danger. "Well I'd say we have jus seconds before we are swarmed so... Orders, Little Boy Blue?" He addressed the Ultramarine casually, but he knew he had been the best choice for the job. Viluf is in Solo Mode right now.

"Aye I'll give yeh my vote for Leader lad, if'n ya can take me two out of three falls in a fight!" The big Wolf grins, cracking his knuckles threateningly. But seriously, Viluf is a dick and very elitist. If you were a Wolf he wouldn't question it but as you are not... im all for you but Viluf needs to be convinced. ;)
Thank you for the invite to the string Radavel. Here is Viluf as he currently is. I do not know what you want me to change to comply however. And Viluf swore the Oath after losing his brothers in battle. The last of his kill team he left the Homeworld and swore the oath, choosing to live out his days and die as part of the Deathwatch rather than his home Chapter.

Okay so Oath of the Astartes is decided. Req: Bulkhead Shears
Seem okay? Or we could go Bulkhead Shears
I don't mind either way. The second one is better for me, but the first one is also pretty good. Anyone else got a preference?

Viluf stands silent as the Apothecary speaks. He watches the man, weighing him up as he continues his speech. He had not been sure at the start, something had felt off, something smelled wrong, but that was quickly changing. He was, he realized, growing to like Athalos and, if they lived long enough, may even call him friend one day. There was a drive and a power behind his words that made them almost poetic. He would have been a good leader, on any other mission. But for today... "We are Deathwatch this is true, but there is something more at work here than the mission. This is a job for the Wolves." He gave Dozeph a flat stare. "Our honor has just been called in to question, all because of one Wolf. So we will answer. A Wolf leads this team, I lead this team. Today. When we return from this mission, when we come back, with the artifact and the lost Wolf, then we will talk Athalos, you and I. You deserve the respect of a Leader but today, on this mission, the Wolves will answer. And we thank you for your support, and you too Dozeph!" Three votes for Viluf so I just called it. Hope everyone is okay with that. |
