We ran two tables. Well we TRIED to run two tables. Mine didn't make it through the first encounter. The other one had lost 2 players by the time I left. Both GMs warned us. It's the first time I've gotten a chronicle sheet where I spent money and Prestige Points (Society game) instead of earning them. Our Venture Lieutenant was m-a-d at how overpowered the scenario was.

You would need to finish parts 2 and 3 by August 14.

Thanks. We should be able to manage that at the speed the group has been posting online.

I ran First Steps, Part I play by post at rpggeek.com with the intention of completing the series. The players are mostly new to Pathfinder and PFS. If we finish before the end of August, that's ok?

Thank you.

The scenario says most of the demons are dretches, quasits and babaus and that they focus on NPCs. I don't see where it says how many demons of each type there are, except in subtier 6-7, there are 3 babaus. Do the PCs only deal with the possessed Alistair aka Arastrax demon?

This is my first time running a face-to-face game. I've played the scenario, but am very nervous.

Also, our time slot at the store is 4 hours. The manager isn't strict about closing time, but I'm seeing people say this scenario can take 6 hours due to the role-playing. Is there a good way to keep that moving?

I found the GM aides that people have made for this scenario and think they'll be very helpful. Thanks!

We are going to run the basic 4 and I will run either the witch or the barbarian depending on what the players want. The other GM is only offering the basic 4 and the witch. We are providing the players with the poems and having them choose that way.

We are going to run separate tables of PFS We Be Goblins on RPGGeek.com Play By Forum for newbie players. It's my first go at GMing and the other GM's first PFS. The scenario comes with 4 goblins: fighter, cleric, rogue, alchemist. Through searching this wonderful forum resource we have found several other pregens. We want to run 5 PCs because that'll make it easier to survive the module and to survive as a Play By Forum game, since attrition may be a problem.

We've seen the following alternate pregens that have pictures and poems:

Buggy Bugeye - witch (semi-official)
Stumpbiter - barbarian (semi-official)
Jakkit the Knife - ranger (might be overpowered)
Miss Gojangles - sorcerer

We are only going to offer the prepackaged 4 and one extra character. I'm inclined toward the witch. The other GM is considering making a bard. Does anyone who has played or run this have any input on party balance or flavor? THANKS!
