Yeah that's exactly what Iteration-177 told me. Get rid of some robots out of control then take care of a ksarik. They didn't say return to a cage though.
She seems to smirk.

Should we shoot those robots or try to hack them and get rid of the virus? I can go both ways. Also fly some ships and analyze alien tech.

To be fair, i had 2 major absences in the last year as well, just because i had neither the time nor the energy (and partially no internet or only on phone as well) to keep up with the boards and post something.
We live in interesting times sadly.

And PbP - like any regularly scheduled activity with adults who have a life, job and possibly family - can be difficult in calmer and more regular times already.

For me looking at the boards, stability and steadiness make the game and groups.
There are some groups and people who want it very fast, but that's often quickly outlived and better for scenarios, not campaigns.
For campaigns you just stick around in the greater scheme^^

So yeah, looking forward to continue this as well!

Oh there you are! I'm feeling much better again and would really love to know who i actually am! Have you found out something?

Seems including me 3 players posted lately, the other 3 posted last last year, or 1 2019.
They might come back or not, but we can continue with 3 people and once this is stable again we might recruit someone else or not.

Just don't get demotivated. The boards are very slow since some time now and lots of people are not in their best spots due to the world being the world right now.

If it's not a fit, then there's no worries. I'm in enough games as well.
On the other hand, 7 in PbP aren't that much either in my experience.
Someone is kind of always late or away for a time and there's always some attrition usually.

If it's not too much for you GM in Yellow, go on with the 7, just add a little punch to encounters :D

Doing my best to do that over the weekend, i meant to tweak some things with the character, since that character was made for an AP with very specific requests, like everybody being from Near Space.

I might just jump in at the danger that race and other things could change though :P

Sorry, i'll need a bit more time, unexpectedly very busy this week.

I'm looking to tweak my character a bit more, so it fits well into the group and the gunner role.

Well hello there, thanks for the admission!

For a level 2 character i have this to offer, a weird mix of soldier and technomancer i came up with some time ago.
The longterm idea is to make things go boom.

I'm open to adapt though and only ever played 1 or 2 scenarios already some time ago.

Hopefully i find the time to write down the complete backstory until then and post it. I run 2 games tonight and tomorrow i still need to prep a bit for. Both PF2 though.
I'm the only one over here who wants to play Starfinder sadly.

Also have to admit playing a Vesk is slightly outside my comfort zone, since i definitely prefer more humanlike races and this character is outside the type i usually play, but i think it's a nice roleplaying challenge and i'm looking forward to it.


This is the Vesk character. Decided to go with 1 level of soldier because that seems to fit Vesks more, but technomancer is going to be the main class.
I am currently reading up more on Vesk to fill in a bit better stuff to the backstory.

I want to play this character as two-sided. Typical combat and competition, hard and reserved Vesk on the outside, but cute, talkative and science/knowledge oriented on the inside and to friends who are accepted into the inner circle.
You could say this is kind of a Vesk Bobby Draper from Expanse, but with magic and a lot more science backup.
Technomancer also provides a lot of skill points with a high INT engineering, computer and other INT based skills will be high, some getting boni from the class.
There's gonna be a family backstory explaining why they want to go to the pact worlds, already got the raw draft, featuring involvement with some of Vesks military and secret services as well as family drama^^
That should provide for interesting character motives between Vesk always looking for conquests and information to further those, looking to achieve dominance within their own family, but also a streak of rebellion against all of that and a yearning for new knowledge and cultures.

Suddenly Veda seems to realize something else and becomes very, very pale.

Stop it! Stop attacking it! Hurting it with anything that slashes or pierces it will only make it grow...somehow. It regenerates itself and grows when it gets hurt the wrong way! We need to bludgeon it and best kill it with fire or acid! Do we have something of that? Oh hell my weapons are useless!

Feeling Prasitis stiffen when she touches her and the silent thanks, Veda thinks to herself.
What's wrong with her? Poor thing seems really shaken...

Before she knows it she turns Prasitis towards her and gives her a warm and gentle hug, both arms slung around her and head on the shoulders.
Somehow this will all turn out well.

What am i doing? This is only to comfort her.

After a moment, Veda let's go, looking to the floor awkwardly.

Who am i joking. That felt good and i might have needed that more than she did.

You ready? Should we go explore the asylum some more and look for clues?
