And also please cancel my Pathfinder Rulebook subscription.
Thank you,

I would like to cancel my following subscriptions:
Starfinder Roleplaying Game
Starfinder Accessories
Reason: Already got a bunch of SF books and content, and no longer a group.
Hi awesome Paizoteers!
Hope you and your family are well. :)
Can you add the following subscription to my account?
> Pathfinder Rulebook Ongoing Subscription
Starting with the Pathfinder Advanced Player's Guide.
Does the item bonus of Eyes of the Eagle to Perception also count for Initiative rolls?
Dear Paizo,
I'd like to stop my following subscriptions:
•Starfinder Adventure Path
•Starfinder Maps
Thanks for all the stuff until now!
Kind regards,
Jeroen
Would the rune be destroyed as well? Or can they still be transferred from a destroyed armor?
I just noticed.. I think Inspire Heroics and Lingering Composition are incompatible with each other.
They're both a (free) action. And they both use the rule "If your next action is to cast xxxx". So a Bard needs to choose which one he combines with Inspire Courage.
Any feat that improves this?
Level 4 Arcane Sorcerer
- 1 Focus Spell (Bloodline)
- Blood Magic special effect
- Level 1 Spell slots: 4
- Level 2 Spell slots: 4
- Class feats: 2
Level 4 Wizard
- 1 Focus Spell (school)
- Thesis (Improved Familiar or Metamagical Experimentation)
- Level 1 Spell slots: 4 (include free one from school)
- Level 2 Spell slots: 5 (include free one from school, and Arcane Bond)
- Class feats: 4 (include free one from Thesis; ME thesis actually has 5 class feats by now)
First I thought "Hey the Wizard get's a Class Feat already at level 1", but when I started to actually compare.. The Wizard gets at least two extra feats.
I'm also saddened, that even though the Wizard has higher flexibility, at least in PF1, the Sorcerer would have extra spell slots. (in some cases 2 more) But that's not the case any longer.
Did I miss anything?
p.75 wrote: Weapon Specialization
You’ve learned how to inflict greater injuries with the weapons you know best. You deal 2 additional damage with weapons and unarmed attacks in which you are an expert. This damage increases to 3 if you’re a master, and to 4 if you’re legendary.
It mentiones further damage increases.. But the alchemist, as far as I can tell, never gets it's weapon proficiency improved above expert.
Am I missing something?

Artwork and the style of the pad looks cool!
I wish the notes were on the right side though, easier for right-handed people.
Now that Paizo officially closed the Playtest last month, my current gaming group (who I'm running Curse of the Crimson Throne for with PT rules), want to continue. With their feedback, and several things I've seen here on reddit and on the Paizo forums, we are currently running with the changes described in the document below. I want to stress that anyone could have different opinions with housrules, so I'm sure these aren't all for everone. ;)
Any feedback is welcome! What do you think?

Hi dear Paizo support,
Can you please cancel/pause my Pathfinder Battles subscription for now? (incl Oct)
Reason: budget choices :)
Kind regards,
Jeroen

Just got confirmation of my shipped subscription. And I just wanted to give the CS and shipping teams a well deserved thank you! With Gen Con and now also the Playtest coming up, things are very hectic in July.

Quote: Domain Powers and Beyond
Pathfinder has always had domain powers, school powers, bloodline powers, and other special class-based spell-like abilities that you can use a certain number of times per day rather than using your daily spell slots on them. In the playtest, we've expanded this idea, allowing even more classes to gain these kinds of powers and standardizing the way we talk about the powers and their daily uses. The powers are now treated as a special kind of spell, and they are all cast using Spell Points. There is power in naming something; while you don't really count them differently than if you had a pool of uses per day, this allowed us to create new and interesting abilities that cost multiple Spell Points or that you could add extra features to at the cost of more Spell Points, in a way that works across classes more smoothly.
The concept for this is great! My thoughts on this however, is that it's problematic that these are called Spell Points. As shown in the All About Actions blog, I thought a new design principle is that abilities should have a more flowing naming sense. Step, Stride, Strike!
So with that, what is your thought on naming this daily usage pool? Your only limitation is that it should be class agnostic, so it should make sense for both arcane, divine, bardic, nature, psychic, etc..
- Spell Power
- Power Reserve

I was just thinking, is it an idea to optionally allow players in the PFS Core campaign to convert to the Playtest this summer?
Hi Paizo,
I'm a Starfinder subscriber, however I am missing SFS scenario #1-04 in my downloads. (1~3 and 5~6 are there)
Kind regards,
Jeroen
Please cancel my PF Player Companion subscription.
Reason: No interest in the next upcoming PC books.
Thanks,
Jeoren
Hi all,
I've got the CotCT hardback, and I really want to run this AP as a long term commitment to a group of PFS'rs. Can you give me a pitch to convince others to play this AP? (And not just a pointer to the players guide ;))
From two perspectives:
- In-character story perspective, without spoilers
- Player mechanics perspective
p.322/323
Do you have to spend the 1 Resolve Point if you fail the skill check? The current wording would suggest so.. But the DC is very high, so in most cases it's throwing away the RP?
Question, I want to start with Elemental Master's Handbook, but I can't select it in the order options.
Cool way to do ability score increases!
Is Ultimate Mercy a standard action? It doesn't actually say you CAST the raise dead spell, so wouldn't it default to standard?
Or a 1 minute spell since it says "as a raise dead spell"?
I'm looking for people who have played or GM'd at least two of the following:
- Curse of the Crimson Throne
- Iron Gods
- Strange Aeons
I'm quite interested in all three of these to run as a roll20 campaign, but I need to chose one obviously. ;-)
Please reply if you've played two or all three with:
- What did you like about the AP's?
- What did you not like about the AP's?
- Why did you like one over the other (two)?
What timezone are these times? U_U
Hi all,
I've already got the following pawns:
- Bestiary I
- Rise of the Runelords
- Pre-ordered Curse of the Crimson Throne
Now I'm wondering, which pawn box should I get to be able to fill in as many of the RotRL and CotCT encounters as possible? Inner Sea Pawn Box? Pathfinder Society Pawn box? Something else?
~I'm sure one of you has made a spreadsheet.. Betting on it! ;D
PS. This is a cross-post - cause no one reads the Accessories board.
I didn't know the Harrow deck was important in Curse! :D Can't wait for the hardcover and pawns now..

Hi Paizo,
I just received an automatic e-mail that my Curse of the Crimson Throne Hardcover is shipping.
But I had it in my sidekart together with the Curse of the Crimson Throne Pawn Collection. Why doesn't it ship together? (once the Pawn Collection is available)
Kind regards,
Jeroen
Hi Paizo,
I found a store bug: As soon as I add the Pathfinder Battles: Rise of the Runelords Case Bundle, I can't go to the View Cart page anymore.
I get the message "Sorry, there was a problem handling your request. The system administrator has been notified.".
Could you please fix this?
Thank you and kind regards,
Jeroen

Hi all,
I want to begin GMing Pathfinder soon, and I was thinking of GMing some Silverhex Chronicles to start with.
I have read through the PDF, and I'm really wondering how I should make a cohesive story of these quests. The excerpts of Ulisha don't mention the Silverhex. Should I make intro story of the text that the PDF starts with? (That explains about the River Kingdoms and that Ulisha discovered the Silverhex.)
Note: I did found the Silverhex Chronicles introduction by Starglim on pfsprep.com.
So:
- How can I connect the players from introduction to the single quests?
- How can I connect the quests between each other?
- What if a player only plays a single quest?
I'm starting to think about a scenario where I explain Ulisha's situation about the Silverhex, then when they arrive at Ulisha's meeting place, she's nowhere to be found and I give them the Silverhex handout/excerpt. Then I give them the quest handout's one at a time to start that quest. (This means, once they get to the final Silverhex quest, they dont have a handout.)
How you you guys play this?
