Concerns of the risks the Hero's of Drezen must face weigh on Vanthor's mind. He thinks about all the possible path's the group has before them. It comes to him that it would be safer and more prudent to have Arue move through the portal first and alone to scout the area first. She should raise no alarm being who she is and she can send back information telepathically. Either she can step back through the portal when she finds out the information she needs or she can use the Spherewalker's staff to shift back to the primal plane. The primary concern is the Gate. This turn of events pulls us from that. I yearn to go to her aide and save her, if it truly is her, but if we fail quite certainly all is lost. My thought is to strengthen our defenses to better withstand their attacks. Use Arue to move ahead of us and scout informing us of ways to strategically get the upper hand. She can return to us if she is in danger with her gift of transportation. When we meet them in combat Bergitta and I can hold the center and focus our attacks on targets as need be and those that can hound the enemy from a distance keep yourselves moving and use cover to keep out of harms way. We also need to rid the enemy of magical enhancements if we can prior to engagement. Our strength is in fighting together as we did out here. It would not help our cause if we were to fall. Much as the Queen is more then a powerful hand against the enemy we too,I'm afraid, are becoming something the war needs to sustain hope. If we stand together we can overcome the superior tactics, prodigious strength, daunting defensive abilities and outright devastating offensive power our enemies have. In his head the horns of victory are sounding as Vanthor stares off toward the Fane. He feels good that he is able to voice this sound tactical plan and raise the spirits of his friends. As he looks upon his friends he sees their agreement. They have nothing to say to him....they just look at him slack jawed and unmoving.

Having the Gem of seeing or at least the ability true sight through a spell or scroll would be key for an important meeting like this. I think throwing it on Arushalae, with her high perception and the ability to duck behind something and appear to be another person to throw off suspicious eyes, would be a good idea.
