nope, my last attack roll was a 12 :P I was rolling like crap the whole time, was hoping to "burn out" the bad rolls before we met up :) It was fun, in a submarine movie "can we see him?" "can he see us?" kind of way. Congrats again!!

OUCH!! Oh well. I do want to point out that my Perception check for Round 7 was a 22 in my spoiler, not that I'm sure it would have helped me any :) Well done Eben!!

edit And that the perception check to hear a spell being cast 15' away would be 0, not his rolled stealth check

VAn studies the new feature intently, trying to discern it's level of threat. His bowstring remains taut, the arrow begging to be unleashed.

Van cast a wary gaze at the undergrowth, mindful that the little man can hide almost anywhere. His right fore arm is beginning to burn a little form maintaining the hold on his bowstring, and perspiration is making the arrows nock slippery, even to his trained fingers. Under his breath, he murmurs "all raight little fella, whair are ya?"

Van's fingers are getting sore from holding his bow string taught, but he knows sore fingers are better than death....

Van takes in the dense foliage, and thinks "Huh, so much brush, be laihk huntin' deer. Better use tha broad haiyd then..."

As he moves 20' (to G16) he draws his bow, nocks the arrow, and then gives it a half draw, ready to launch steely death as soon as he sees the halflings dark form.

Clad in bronze scale, gleaming in the arena light, the stout dwarf enters the ring, his keen eye transfixing the halfling where he stands. A sheaf of arrows, with vibrantly coloured flecthing, and a great, heavy limbed bow, announce his trade tot he gathered throngs.

And in this corner, looking like a PIMP, is Van, Just Van!!! Give it up ya'll!!!

DM- Freepicturehosting seems to work, I can at least get tot he home page. Eben- I thought you did a great job, what were you using for sight lines? (One or more of the gladiators may or may not work on the same floor as I do :))

It's really hit or miss, but if it's a major host, I can pretty much count on it being blocked. stoopid gubmint :P

I think it is just a good idea not to discuss what is in the spoilers, after all I saw no spellcraft checks to determine the spell being cast and I know darn well most of us would fail such a check anyhow.

Read the writing on the bottle with a perception check? ;)

I see where you are coming from, and common courtesy would be for combatants NOT to read each others spoilers, BUT unless you are actively stealthing, moving, applying oils, drawing weapons, etc would be pretty blatant actions. They ARE in direct view of each other. Well, Heshlem is hiding/ taking cover, but he didn't spoiler anything. Anyway... :)

I disagree that "spoilers" are necessary, we are in OPEN combat in front of an audience. But I DO agree that combatants should prolly stay out of the "chat" thread while they are fighting. But I'll behave. IF people stop Rules Lawyering and START FIGHTING!!!!! Weren't there supposed to be arrow turrets for this?

Ha, of course they do :) MOst hosts are blocked for me, sometimes I'm amazed I can get to paizo. Ok, I'll try to DL at home and then use the "battleship method" (Dwarf to b5) to make moves. In the meantime, it will be like listening to a baseball game on the radio :)

Oh great DM- what image host are you using for the maps? It is blocked for me :( Any chance of a re-up on G-docs or similar? Not fighting right now, so I can follwo when I get home, but will become more of an issue later me thinks.
