Hey! Room for another? I love Urban Fantasy and this looks fun. History might be a little rough and not sure if the Allure trait will be allowed, but I could totally see someone overwhelming another person through sheer presence and nobody thinking 'Oh hey, it's a magical daze!'. But if it's a problem can switch it to either Augmented Disguise or Extremely Fashionable.

History:

Father comes from old money, Mother is new money, started a fortune 500 company with her family. Grew up spoiled, her grandmother got her into beauty pageants which lead to a commercial deal then a recurring role on a children's television series...

Fast forward fifteen years or so, one minor success leads to another and she's worked her way up to B+ celebrity, fashion lines, music deals, TV movies. Also drinking, partying, and rehab....

For a while it worked out, she loved the fame and the masses adored her. Her family would get her out of trouble (usually, sometimes she managed to get herself out through seedy means). But her parents grew tired of their child 'acting out' and when she drunkenly crashed into a secondhand book store on her nineteenth birthday, they refused to bail her out yet again.

At least that's what it seemed like, in reality they quietly got the sentence reduced and as part of her plea bargain, she had to go to college, ending up exiled across the country and the only she has to pass the time is trying to figure out the book she found in the ruin hunk of her convertible.

Also she's chosen psychology as a major, figuring if nothing else it might give her a bit of an edge in her acting career.

Still accepting people? If so...

Thinking human wilder(healing bond), makes a living working as sort of a sellsword/bodyguard and all around 'fixer' (think hard boiled P.I. type). Chaotic Neutral type, if you're gold is good and the job is not horrible she's probably up for it.

Bastard daughter of one of the higher ups in a Noble house, someone married I think. Knows her her father is and he knows about her, pays her an allowance out of a sense of obligation and to keep the whole thing quiet. House Maoril would probably be a good choice, because then she'd have sort of an in with taverns and such (where most of her work is/clients find her). And with the recent rumors about the head of Maoril's wife he might be extra touchy about a marriage related fiasco (So if she starts making waves they might try to disappear her or something)

Couple questions though:
Character Name:Any sort of specific theme I should eye here besides fantasy? Like, in your mind is Aeon more of a European city? Asian?

The wall and outside:From what I'm getting Aeon is the sole light of civilization in the world (or close enough anyway), do people go outside? Is it a big hassle to go out there?

Damn, snow ate my net for a bit, so not going to try for the last spot (Don't want to slow down the start of the game if I somehow got in and it happened again.)

Goodluck all!

Interested! Can post twice a day, but fri/sat might get sketchy (As in, those are my WoW raid nights so I can post before, but after might be too burned out/tired to post, or at least post well)

Have a couple ideas kicking around. The first one can get a little weird rp-goal-wise.

First:Aasimar Mystic Thuerge (Sorce(celestial) and Oracle (probably life, with either legalistic(In a Holy 'Keep your word' sort of way rather than hell's bargain) or tongues curse)(Not that these will matter for the first 10 levels but~)

Oddly enough is something of an atheist that's gunning for godhood (but in a nice way), her oracle powers coming from inside/a natural connection to divine planes. Views deities simply as very powerful beings that stake out concepts like royalty claim kingdoms. Good deities get sort of a 'Nice older sibling to mortal races' view while evil ones are just bullies

Brought up in a church(deity to be determined), sort of used by the church that raised her as a mascot (which she grew tired of) and ran away ending up in sandpoint.

Second:Street-Rat Wizard: Orphan raised on the streets, stealing to survive. Discovered she had some magical talent and was taken in by an abusive wizard as an apprentice. Got tired of it, robbed him blind and took off going back to her old gang. Figured out that she really does have quite a bit of talent and after the funds from her first foray into magical learning dried up, decided to get apprenticed to someone else. Jumping from one teacher to the other as a magical prodigy.

But then the people she burned wised up, got together and tracked her down forcing her to skip town.

Possible classes:Arcanist(if you're allowing the advanced class playtest), Sorcerer with Arcane bloodline, or if I'm feeling sort of adventurous, rogue with a huge focus on use magic device.

Ok, so this looks like it could be fun! Thought I'd throw my hat in. Though, might be kind of out there. She's a summoner with the Synthesist archetype. But instead of like, summoning a standard outsider she crafted a magical suit of armor that she tucks away into her soul/dimensional pocket.

The interview Questions!:
Questions for the character:
What was your life like before you were “recruited” into the Thralls of Thrune?
Pretty boring really! Mom was a barmaid, dad was an elven adventurer passing through (you can guess where I come into this). Mother passed away during my teens, I was taken in by a kindly old librarian and helped out (I'd actually been doing this for a while, cheaper than a babysitter, safer than hanging out at my mother's work). Just sort of took it over when she passed a few years ago. I live, well lived in the basement. Set up a small lab.

A boring life, which is a good thing in Cheliax. I kept my head down, didn't make trouble, didn't complain about the taxes... all that. I didn't want to stay here though, except I wasn't really good at anything. I knew some magic, but didn't have the 'oomph' to be a wizard. Knew some knife tricks from some of mother's 'friends' but that didn't make me a fighter.

But I had a plan! I'd found some old notes in the library. A way to create an armor that would let me go toe to toe with the greatest knights, slay the greatest monsters, etc. I'd craft this (well, other people would craft, I'd enchant it), then head out on my own adventure, gaining fame and fortune before finding my father and settling with him for a while (and I would live happily ever after and life would be filled with rainbows and gumdrops and winged unicorns).

What did you do to piss off House Thrune?
Well that was the plan anyway. When I finally, after years of work and scrimping for parts, did the enchantment? BOOM. Suddenly the burnt condition of the notes made sense. I guess some of my upgrades kept me from exploding along with the ritual (unlike the original guy) but... well basically the library is gone now. And despite me being the one to maintain and pay for most of the stuff in there? Apparently it was the property of Thrune. They were extra upset about the brand new version of the histories going up in smoke. Or so they tried to claim. Really they seemed more interested in the armor (which worked, yay) but as the notes were gone and seperating me from it would destroy us both (I think anyway and that's what I told them. Because I wasn't going to let them take any chances).

What would you otherwise be doing if you were not adventuring for House Thrune?
Adventuring! Rescuing towns from kobolds and becoming famous! But that's just a pipe dream now I guess. But hey, I'm still technically an adventurer, right? Right??

Which sources did you use when creating your character?
Base playbook, APG, Ultimate Magic.
How often can you post?
At least once a day.
Finally, why do you want to play this game?
I like pbps and my old one died. This one looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Random Questions!:
It says that you can switch out claws for slam with the biped starting form... But it still costs a point despite them costing the same. Which doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Should I pay for it or no? (She's currently built with me paying for it)

Slam:So I'm perectly fine with her just fisticuffing it up in battle, but do you mind if I rp/fluff the slam attack as a big hammer she summons with the armor?
