Noticing as to how empty the streets are, Valdris pulls out his dagger, and casts Light on the blade. The night chill makes him shiver a bit as he looks towards all shadows, while keeping his detection of magic concentrated on.

"It's a bit eerie, seeing a town like this in the witching hours. Hopefully, we can report our findings and get to our bunks, as it has been quite the day."

Considering that they were talking about performing the coup after this night's rest, it may be either tonight, or tomorrow evening. We'll need to look for some sort if brand or marking quickly. Want me to wake up the leader?

Looking at the others and making a quick assessment, Valdris decides to be slightly selfish and begins treating his wounds.

"Tssss, you know, this is the only drawback to nonmagical medicine..... This stings more than I'd like!"

Continuing his curses, the wizard keeps on dressing his wounds as the others check the bodies of the rebels, unconscious or not. It wasn't his concern yet, as he needed to make sure to properly bandage himself so no infection happened.

Taking out more ointments and bandages, Valdris begins to start patching everyone up with the time given to him until the group decides to get some rest.

"Clem, you ought to be more careful. Let me take a closer look at those wounds of yours."

Treat Wounds: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5

Valdris can treat wounds every 10 minutes so however much time we are staying still, he will treat everyone as best he can.

Nodding to his partner's suggestion, Valdris strides towards Clem, pulling out a tincture with a needle. Biting the thin glass at the top of the medicine, he exposes a needle, before shaking it and slamming it down into Clem's chest.

Beginning to get back to his feet, the wizard makes a blocking motion as he shouts, "Protectrum!"

Sorry, but need an errata for Valdris' turn since he doesn't have Telekinetic Projectile.

Taking the hits from Mildred, the wizard acts in haste, not wanting to be attacked again, sending three bolts of energy towards the woman!

Holy stick in a mud pit, cell service was horrible. Verizon needs to up their signal in the northern states..... Sorry about my absence!

As for botting Valdris, Cantrips are my things unless someone gets hurt, then I'll use Battle Medicine which auto succeeds.

Also, as a side note, I don't have telekinetic projectile, unfortunately.

"Well Mildred, my companions, on no order of rank are that of Clem, a man so befuddled, even I don't think he remembers where he came from. Quite the charmer, in an odd way, I must say. That lass there is Mimi of Galt, and seems to be quite fancy with her feet. Her accent can make it a bit difficult to understand her at first, but I like her, she has flair. Hornietelle, I haven't really paid too much attention to, with the exception that she knows how to treat others well, especially during travels, as I think that might have been why we had such pleasant passage to the kingdoms. Brimley, I believe comes from around the Sodden Lands, as his abilities on a ship are quite superb, especially for one of his kind. Finally, Duncan I think grew up on the water as well. Man moves so naturally on a ship is astonishing." Grinning a bit with his hand gesturing his group, he finally places it on his healer's kit hanging on him, similar to a messenger bag. "Then there's me. A scholar in the arcane, and some practice in medicine as a field medic."

Ears perking up at the mention of the rebellion being planned, Valdris tilts his head to the side just before asking a question, "Might I be so rude as to ask what happened for you to want to cause a coup? Are the people truly starvibg more? I was told by a priestess in town that this King is more benevolent than the last, or do you plan on ruling what you take, as are the laws of the land? I don't plan on playing any side, unless there is a good reason, as I'd rather use my services to keep those alive on both sides."

Tears still welling up from the bite of his tongue, Valdris doesn't notice the group of men until he bumps into Clem's back and looks up startled.

"O, oh! Sorry if we are intruding! As with what the others are saying, we aren't here for trouble." Holding up his hands, he gestures towards his group and to himself. "Perhaps introduction would be in order, as we should be on cordial terms, even if we don't share a fire for the night. I am Valdris of Taldor, member of the Pathfinder Society. Might I be so bold to ask your name, good sir?"

He gives a slight bow to the leader, keeping his hands in view while waiting for a reply. Eyes darting, he tried to keep himself calm. "What did I just walk into?"

Keeping his focus on his detecting of magics, Valdris goes closer towards the fire while keeping his hands in sight.

"I do agree with Clem here. A few months ago, something similar happened, and my team and I saved their lives. Walking towards Duncan, Valdris extends an hand towards the half elf.

"Mind if I see the scroll? Perhaps I could get a clue as to what's going on here. Perhaps the book as well, since Clem said something about a good story."

Noticing the dimming light, the medic casts Light on his dagger so the examination of the lodge could be done a bit more easily. Walking up to the webbed body, he begins looking it over, while poking and prodding at it. Nose turning slightly at the smell, he uses his dagger to cut away at the webbing holding the body aloft. With an audible thump, the body hits the ground, and Valdris continues his examination of the corpse.

After a quick examination of the body, Caldrus begins going through the pockets and finds a small glass jar with a viscious liquid inside.

"The body had something on it if you wish to have it. I could examine it while everyone does another once over of the lodge, but if we need to hurry, I won't"

Visibly shuttering, the wizard takes a step forward, and begins to hum and haw a bit, wildly gesturing with his hands. With a snap of his wrists, the air around hims begins to frost his robes sleeves as heat seems to move towards his hands.

"BURNING HANDS!"

Bowing towards the Priestess, Valdris makes his introductions.

"I am Vadris Delsuunes of Taldor, my lady. Currently, I have come into information that the organization I work for may have had a base of operations in the area. The details of that venture would be fine, but I heard there may be a story. One of how Artume had outmanuvered the Bandit Lord using a path between the Waterworks and the Keep, perhaps."

Taking a deep breath to calm himself, while straightening his robes and collecting this thoughts, he then continues.

"While the Lord may be indisposed at the time, I am looking more for information that could help. The Lord's Court is for his own matters, as I am seeking something outside it. Which is why, I chose a religious institution. With how the people revere and confide, maybe there may be something in the archives?"

Valdris smiles before mentioning, "Or, perhaps an oath is keeping you tied down, if it is so, I won't hold anything against you."

Looking at the two, Valdris sighs and shakes his head, pinching the bridge of his nose. Would it be so difficult to not have a group of agents that rush off to get drunk within the first few hours of a mission? If an old lodge was a part of the town, perhaps the local nobility might have some information and records?

"Question Priestess. Perhaps you can have a chat with the local lord, and I ask to look into their history, namely concerning our prestigious organization? If we did have a lodge, I am sure the local nobles or government might have had some dealings with the Society of yore. I am quite certain the one or the other could have had..... a dispute or three over the lodge's years of operations."

Listening to Hornitelle's explanation of the six basic tenets of the River Kingdoms, Valdris nods and smiles.

"Just remember what those tenets mean. Be courteous above all else, especially when acting as a highway robber. Charm and wit are as commonplace as a knife at your throat from what I have read. Their tactics of warfare on the water are amazing. Why did you know...."

The wizard begins to babble on for a few minutes before realizing that the group was beginning to walk away from him, mostly at the mention of Durvin Gest. Trying to catch up to Clem, the Taldan attemots to place a hand on the old coot.

"Wait, they found a chronicle recently from peers of Gest? I miss all the fun rumors!"

Blinking his eyes rapidly from coming on deck, the temporary medic if the ship has been busy most of the morning until called topside. Stretching his arms from being in cramped spaces during most of the duration of the trip, Valdris smiles as he feels the sun on his face. The fresh air was a nice change from being underside while helping those injured or sick from the journey.

Watching the crew in the rigging, he spots the acrobatic Mimi, and claps slightly as the woman sticks her landing. He had noticed the tension between her and Honrietelle, but figured it was something from the past or the fact that one was a temporary First Mate. He didn't have time for ship politics, and was glad to be off the ship soon enough. Valdris was tired of acting almost like a masseuse, as it seems like most of the crew seemed to pull muscles every day, and was getting suspicious that not all of the injuries were real. He would have to talk to the Captain about that after the contract was up.

"It was a short trip, but still beats staying in a musty library for weeks. I do agree with Miami here, good morn by the way, in that I assume with the call, that a breifing is soon to be underway."

The wind flowing over his skin felt good as he stood at the side of the ship. Valdris remembered his being asked to help investigate an old lodge and to bring his knowledge of both society and medicine to aid his other Pathfinders. This air was pleasant compared to his last mission, that had him delve in the rotting confines of the Puddles district of Absalom, and its crumbling structures.

Checking the clasp of his cloak, as so to make sure it was secure, he checked all of his belongings that were close at hand. Though he was a wizard, Valdris was a medic a heart, trying to keep those around him as healthy as he could without divine help. From tinctures to help with nausea to sutures for cuts, lending his hand to help others came in second nature to the wizard.

My posting can be erratic as I am a truck driver, but I try to get at least one post done daily. I check multiple times a day, but generally won't post twice in a row so others have a chance to post.

Assurence on Treat Wounds meets the threshold DC of 15, so I won't bother rolling unless specified. I can treat wounds every 10 minutes, so if there is long bits of down time, I can heal us all up.

Grabbing a few more bandages and ointments, the wizard then begins to go over Kurnek's wounds. "Now, how about we finish getting you patched up. You took quite the beating."
