The chronicle is perfectly done sir, a lot of thanks!
Also thank you for the game again. It was fun and it was swift! It is pleasing to see we made it smooth enough that we finished 1 scenario ahead of the other table.
It talks good of everyone's commitment and good PbP skills of the group.
Anyway, I had fun through all this months and a good memory, which is what counts in the end.
This has been quite a ride! It took us almost a year and it was a fun year. I have come to know you in this time and appreciate your gaming. Thanks everyone and specially GM TOZ as he has put the most effort and time on this after all!
"Well, unless it was some demon taking the shape of him and trying to bring the Pathfinders against him" comments Vailis, and then smiles "But anyway, whatever it is, we are done with this. The concubines are safe and Sothis is happy with our involvement"
The half-elf will enjoy the party with a good glass of red wine in the hand.
Vailis summons Coco at the other side of the bars and nods approvingly when he appears "Good. Check the concubines and the sand left by a guy who just disappeared from here"
The half-elf points where "Examine also that long divan at the far side"
Coco nods and obediently searches around.

Vailis moves forward to have a better sight of what is going on, and takes cover behind the column. The half-elf holds high the staff and activates its power "Meskhenet, protect me from these creatures foul draining!"
Then gives orders to the elementals in Ignean "Surround that big one in the center, then fight Zubari's guards!"
One after one, the elementals rush into the room, the red one being the first trying to gain the monster's back.

Vailis follows Ingrge lead and points the elementals to move ahead and eat any traps that may lay for the group to trigger "There. Follow the corridor. Ensure there are no traps" he commands in Ignan.
Vailis smiles at the recovering cleric "Welcome back princess of fire. It seems you did not make good friendship with the old mummified ladies"
The half-elf points to the door going east "There seems to be a door here, east of Kyra. It seems the only way forward"

Vailis nods, pleased by Ingrge's efficacy. The half-elf frowns at the falling cleric "Hmmm... I guess this needs some different approach"
Producing a small flask with devil's blood, he takes a drop and anoints Kyra's wounds with infernal healing hoping it can bypass the mummy's curse.
As it just gives fast healing, I hope it can avoid the curse
Seeing Coco paralyzed and helping nothing, Vailis scowls, waving a hand to dismiss him as he starts a summoning "Things are getting bad. Specially for Kyra..." seeing the cleric fall, the half-elf brings Surperior summoning:1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4augmented medium fire elementals into the room, one of them over Kyra, protecting her.

Vailis is slow to react, because he is indeed paralyzed too.
It seems we should have activated the relics before entering here
Vailis just stares back at Jorgen and Kyra but says nothing.
Instead the half-elf moves behind the group to study the figures "Better we be careful, it seems almost as if they have fallen into a bloody trap"
Vailis casts detect magic to examine the corridor while Adeah and Kyra advance to help the breathing figure "Ask them what are they doing here and what happened"
Vailis nods approvingly to Coco "Now advance yourself and peek around the corner. Help Ingrge scout"
The eidolon smiles back at Jorgen feeling recognized at least, then stares at Vailis, stretching his eyes, but ultimately nodding and advancing through to look at the corner.

The half-elf meanwhile whispers to Jorgen's "Do not give him much praise or it will start making demands. You first treat them like an equal, then they start asking equal parts from the treasure cut"

Hearing the curses coming from the other side, Vailis calls Coco to his side. The eidolon is teleported back to his master and updates the party about the trap at the other side.
"Well, now take the second passage. I cannot call you to my side anymore, you will have to remain there trapped if this happens again" Coco grumbles but dutifully obey, opening the second door.
"We better close up that sarcophagus. It does not seem one of the bodies we are looking for, but more like we are just breaking into a random tomb" Vailis expresses.
"Perhaps Zuberi is hiding somewhere in this tomb and that is why we have been directed here?" Vailis starts looking very closely for secrets "Coco help me"

"There must be a mechanism somewhere that opens the door" Vailis steps back to look at the contents of the urns, opening them from west to east.
Meanwhile Coco studies the jackal statues and the all-seeing symbol, trying to understand if they bear some meaning that hints to the solution.

"What's it, what do you see?" Vailis approaches to the edge of the room and casts detect magic trying to find magical auras in the area.
"This is very interesting, the images confirm a lot of everyday habits from Ancient Osirion" Coco advances himself to examine the hieroglyphs and make sense of them "It seems this people was very advanced already, not behind your current everyday. Look, they even seem to bath with actual soap more often than you"

"I understand the text. It is in Osiriani" explains Coco that goes on retelling the meaning "It is a proclamation as the final resting place of Sahib ul-Makam al-Rafi Khalfani Zuberi. The honorific Sahib ul-Makam al-Rafi simply means 'Holder of the Eminent Position'"
"Hmmm... seems we might be dealing with undead once more..." Vailis looks at Kyra "Do you take Akila’s wand then?"
And casting light on the bolt on his crossbow, Vailis makes a step forward "Shall we go in?"
A stare suffices for Coco to take the lead and cross the forest of columns to check the left doors, opening them if nothing is found.

Coco looks coldly at his master.
"Perhaps you can take Coco under possession ancient spirits" Coco negates with the head "I command you to let them in" the eidolon grumbles.
"Wait, are you proposing to possess our bodies in order to fight Zuberi?" Vailis looks at the spirits, not very sure of his feelings at the moment.
"Anyway the first problem persists. We have no idea where Zuberi is right now. We were hoping Sekhmanu would be able to tell us where your bodies are right now, and to find Zuberi there" the half-elf observes the objects laying below the spirits "But it seems her divination magic has manifested you instead of telling us where the bodies are"

Understanding the sphinx accepts to perform the divination for the Pathfinders, Vailis approaches leaving the wand, the falchion and the staff in front of her "This wand pertained to Akila, the falchion was from Kamilah, and the staff was from Meskhenet"
"We look for the corpses of those three. Can your divinations tell us where they are?"
"We know the Pathfinders once saved you knowledgeable Sekhmanu. The Society needs now your aid. We need your divination to find where the bodies of the previous owners of these artifacts are now" Vailis shows the staff and other artifacts they were given "If you care to help us, in homage for our previous aid, we can share with you stories of far lands we have uncovered while finding these very same artifacts"

"Divination magic... I see..." Vailis nods agreeing to the Venture Captain's plan "It seems this is a good time to recall Coco's assitance"

"What's it master? Have you dealt with the acid traps?" Vailis will place him up to date and Coco will say whatever he knows about this story.

"Sekhmanu is a legendary gynosphinx who watches over the tombs of the necropolis, aiding the temple of Pharasma as a potent guardian. She’s provided this service for hundreds of years, Master Vailis" the eidolon goes on with extensive details "Sekhmanu loves to collect riddles and knowledge of faraway lands and cultures. Outside of conversing on these subjects, she seemingly resents all other contact. Rumors suggest she feasts on the bodies of those who displease her and adds their bones to the burial chambers of the tombs she guards"
"Sekhmanu is actually an elder sphinx devoted to Pharasma with potent divination abilities. Adventurers have sought her assistance over the years in obtaining information about people (living or dead) and their artifacts." and goes on "An obscure passage in the Pathfinder Chronicles states a group of Pathfinders once aided a sphinx named Sekhmanu hundreds of years ago, rescuing her from a terrible fate."
As the group moves through the streets, Vailis will pose questions.
Diplomacy:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
"So... Built on the original grounds of the High Temple of Pharasma, the Necropolis of the Faithful has served as one of Garund’s oldest places of burial for thousands of years. Ok, thanks!"
"I can make your skin to stone, but not this wall to skin" Vailis observes with all seriousness and testing the solidness himself "Maybe we can check at the other tower"
The half-elf goes and checks if the other set of stairs are also blocked.
"The bodies have been stolen from the Necropolis of the Faithful?" Vailis frowns "Well... we were paid already, so I guess you lot are free to do what you would like with them but one kind of expects more security on something that took so much risk to recover"
"Anyway, let's finish exploring this level, then we can try to find this Khalfani Zuberi and the extracted bodies" with that Vailis gets out of the room and opens the door to the south, then the one to the north.
"Hmmm... that is worrying... I do not think any of those ones are Khalfani Zuberi, which means we have an enemy we have to track and deal with. What do you know about this merchant?" Vailis looks at the remaining doors "Meanwhile we should make sure there are indeed no more of them in the few doors we have not visited yet"
If there are no channels, Vailis takes a drop of devil's blood and applies a couple more infernal healings on himself that slowly close his wounds while they talk with the Venture Captain.
